[FT] Spoiler Zone!
My purpose is to highlight the scientific versus the market/industry definition; as someone with a background in science I enjoy researching the differences.
By scientific definition, scandium is not a precious metal. Yes, demand and market value play a role, but precious metals have certain chemical properties that disqualify scandium from the lists of precious metals that I've been able to find thus far. By market definition, it's a pseudo-precious metal (doesn't meet all of the chemical requirements but is rare enough in production and usage). So it seems as though Howrse is going by market definition rather than the scientific one. I can understand that, since it gives them more metals to use for Divines.

@ The Fifth Queen
+1. My point exactly. Seems like Howrse are implying "precious" also as "expensive" along with the real Precious metals as defined in Chemistry Science. That's fine with me, there will be more divines in those series based on it. Even better if they expand the hybrids, since Copper and Scandium make stable compounds with other Precious metals IRL as well (metals that are true Precious ones, like Gold and Platinum). We could get some interesting variants and (more importantly) art for them.

New Fairytale divine
Click to display Can they still work on the little mermaid design ? It’s not bad, but the transition between the tail and the horse part could be more smooth. Like scall disappearing progressively.

Click to display Can they still work on the little mermaid design ? It’s not bad, but the transition between the tail and the horse part could be more smooth. Like scall disappearing progressively. Click to display Unfortunately I doubt they'll edit it at this point. But you're right, a few scales leading up to the transition would by nice and smooth, and make it look great. I guess in the movie the Little mermaid does have a sort of "fish eating her legs" look too though, not a transition to the tail. Right now it looks like a hagfish (gross fishy thing that looks like a leech) decided to try its luck and eat her..

So far I've been super lucky as my Silver has dropped 7, 10, 10, and 10 ore since I've had him. In 10 days I've got exactly 70 ore, so expect him to drop in about 3-4 days now... I think that is pretty good.
|
What is the next event and the divine that goes with it? Thanks everyone!
|
I have three Silvers, two here and one on UK, and in ten days they've dropped 74, 75 and 71 ore respectively. At that rate, 60 passes per month isn't out of the question though I might just have been lucky.

About new item
Click to display Do I understand correctly that the new item completely replaces the horse with a special horse? That is, this is not just an increase in skills and coats, but also erases the color of the horse and the breed of the horse, its genealogical tree? That is, as if the object takes your horse and gives you another |
About new item Click to display The item description is as follows...Your horse will receive a professional trainer and a philosopher's stone. It will no longer be able to reproduce and will no longer be able to be sold. It will also allow you to earn random divine horse fragments from the Solar System series by winning competitions. Starting from 3 years. Your horse will get this item but will not physically change your horse in any way. BMI items can still be added. You get 25 fragments ( applied randomly to one of the solar divines) after you have won 5 times, however only 1 win per day is counted. So at the min it will take 5 days for the 25 fragments ..or 200 days in total for 1000 fragments, assuming you win once each day. So selecting the right horse is needed. This pretty well describes it.

Does anyone have any guesses to when Howrse might release Ban'ei unis? I breed uni drafts, so I'm itching to start on them lol. Plus I've never paid attention to when Howrse releases new uni breeds, so I have no idea myself.

Plus I've never paid attention to when Howrse releases new uni breeds, so I have no idea myself. My guess is that they’ll take the opportunity to release them either in Christmas packs or as a higher prize in an event after Christmas. It will be a while for sure though they’re never really quick when releasing the unicorn version of a breed after it’s introduced

|
Click to display icb half the new companions and the tears will be locked under premium...I get why but however this event again proves that even at the beginning events weren't designed to be super accessible to non pass buyers |
Click to display Not too happy to see the key, but, that said, while 600 passes is expensive, the chimera will give roughly 750 passes once tamed. 600 passes is 20 days of doing both objectives, all of us that have objective access have got plenty of time to gather the passes.

Yes, but also no? Click to display I see your point but That's a price tag that works for a Great Challenge event (and even then) where you get a proper Divine, not for a Pinata event that requires you to participate at odd hours AND also pay for Alice (130 fragments bonus is risible) on top of only getting a Chimera, sorry.
|
Click to display The first key promo didn't offer a divine, only the second one did. Many people consider the pastries useless, but a chimera gotten like this will pay you back and give you a bit extra. There's also the MA, BoM, and WS, all of which have a decent value to them.
