Gosh, but that's my favourite story! I love it already

Click to display On a second look, it looks like a fish is trying to consume the horse..the transition from horse to mermaid tail is a bit sketchy Still looks pretty good though
|
Click to display I just hope the perk is decent, we've had some many divines lately that haven't even been close to the 2400-3000 pass price tag they have had to max the meter.

Click to display I think my favourite part about the Fairytale divines are the base they sit on. Such an insignificant detail considering it's not part of the actual horse art, but it makes them look like little figurines you could collect and display on a shelf.

Wasn't sure if this counts as a spoiler yet - the information is out there but sort of needs to be translated - so just in case:
Click to display I was looking at the list of precious metals horses, and it looks like they have gold on there twice (gold and rose gold, I assume, based on colour). The divines are Silver (Au), Scandium (Sc), Ruthenium (Ru), Rhenium (Re), Platinum (Pt), Osmium (Os), Gold (Au), Rose(?) Gold (Au), Copper (Cu), and then the final is Quicksilver (Hg). I'm curious why Rose Gold is on the list. It's not an element like every other divine in the series- it's a combination of gold and copper. They could have put Iridium (Ir) or something in instead and it would make much more sense. Is this bothering anyone else?

@Veren
Click to display maybe rose gold will be breedable once you get the gold and copper divines? kind of like topaz in the gemstone series, not available as a standalone divine

tbf some of those on the list aren't even precious metals. Really? Click to display I personally collect Scandium, Ruthenium, Rhenium, and Osmium as a hobby

Scandium is a rare-earth element but it's not classed as a precious metal either.

Scandium is a rare-earth element but it's not classed as a precious metal either. Howrse has never been known for their extensive research I suppose

Click to display I wonder if there will be a new edition to the fala family?

Click to display I wonder if there will be a new edition to the fala family? Unless they changed the name there isn't

Scandium is a rare-earth element but it's not classed as a precious metal either. It's quite expensive per gram - more than gold, so we can safely assume it's quite precious metal.
|
It's quite expensive per gram - more than gold, so we can safely assume it's quite precious metal. Precious metal is a scientific definition. "Precious metals are elements that are considered rare and chemically inert." A quick google search confirms that scandium, while rare in commerce (but not in nature!), is not classified as a precious metal by chemistry (or maybe the metal industry? Not sure of the sourcing) standards.
|
Precious metal is a scientific definition. Not quite anymore. A quick google search confirms that "The status of a "precious" metal can also be determined by high demand or market value." but let's not argue pointlessly. Obviously copper is also not a precious metal solely by the chemistry related definition and is certainly much less "precious" than Scandium, however, Howrse did put it on the list of the metal divines series. This is where it's safe to accept it is most likely they take in account all sides of the "preciousness" of metals, like rarity, industrial value, usage applications and so on, and so forth. Anyway, looks like a nice idea and I don't mind them including even more metals in there. Keeping fingers crossed for a nice art. Silver looks like a good start, so let's see how the rest will come out....
