I guess I'll start saving up for the next reserved Divine. I am /not/ going to risk trying a luck item. Do you think they'll put any of the Gemstones in the reserved? Or that they'll bring down the price of any future Wilds?

I can't guess about the gemstones, but so many people bought the Spanish Mustang that it's unlikely the price of other wilds will be lowered.

I have a question. They are having Opal right now in the Golden Fleece, (Which I think is a rip off) but does anyone know if Onyx is going to be next?

We never know which horses in which order will turn up in sales/luck items or when they will appear.

The Zodiacs have been released right around whatever month that Zodiac pertains to. But otherwise we don't know exactly when

You get tickets. Howrse has a draw. Each ticket is a prize for you. Prizes range from APs to equipment to mashes to BMIs. Main prize is a Divine and there are 3 smaller prizes such as 200,000e, 3x TC, 3 passes, stuff like that.

We don't have the prize list for this upcoming lottery yet.

Typically ways to get tickets are:
- buy them (starts at 200-300e, price triples with each ticket bought)
- get 2-3 from winning comps
- get 3 from each pass you spend in the black market
- get up to 5 from friends per draw

the last time the Grand Challenge came around, followed by the lottery at the end, it went like this:

In the Grand Challenge you have certain challenges to complete every day. For the first 10/12 (I don't remember) days you get a puzzle piece for each day you complete all the challenges. Each puzzle piece stands for a gift you'll get after the Grand Challenge ends.

The goals in the Grand Challenge vary from easy things (like have a equus reserve ending in XXX, or give a horse an X color helios ray) to more difficult things (like: equip your horse with pink tack, or remove a horn from a unicorn/wings from a pegasus, or give your horse an X color golden apple coat).

If you find something too difficult, you can pay equus to have someone else do a challenge for you. You can also help someone else with a challenge.

After the Grand Challenge, the lottery starts. Depending on how well you did in the Grand Challenge, you start with a certain amount of lottery tickets. Each day the tombola is spun once, twice, or thrice, depending on how well everyone on the server did during the Grand Challenge. With your tickets you can win prizes, or more lottery tickets. You can also buy lottery tickets with equus (the price goes up with every new ticket you buy) or passes.

That's all I can remember for now. Hopefully someone else will fill in.

Yeah. I learned this quickly and decided to stop buying passes. I simply couldn't afford to do so. Luckily it turned out okay for me anyways but it's not like everybody gets as lucky.

But I agree, it used to be cheaper in the past. There were more fixed price-promos (meaning less "luck" ones such as the cards. I mean in theory you could spend an unlimited amount of passes there and still not win) and it seemed easier to win in HOPs.. hm.

Does anyone who's gone through the P___ G___ promo on prepod have any kind of pass estimate/strategy guide on it? I'll be on vacation the entire second week and relying on mobile and my sis on co...so I'm trying to make a gameplan of sorts.

Yes, you are correct for the most part. Basically-

VIPs will have access to the HOPs to try for Cancer during the GC, whilst other players will not have the same access until the festivities/lottery start (VIPs will still be able to try during this time as well).

However, I'm not sure exactly how many passes she will be worth in the reserved sales, or how many HOPs you would need to open to trigger the sale.

I don't have the source myself, but the player Anap had posted the perks of Cancer and Leo at the top of page 1772, here.

In the spoiler, they write about Cancer and Leo's perks, and the information is stated there. default smiley :)
