It is the great challenge, and with what I remember, that it's going to start on the 11th.

It looks like if you don't fit a helios' ray into the template correctly, leaving a white, weird space in between if you scroll at all... It hurts my eyes, and in my personal opinion, makes the pastel-ish background look way too bright. AP farming will be pretty bad if they don't fade it....

Okay, so the new layout is horrible. Just awful. I can't find anything I want, and nothing is the same. I mean seriously, I couldn't figure out how to log out for awhile!! The white when you scroll hurts my eyes. Just OUCH..

The other changes however aren't as bad, but I can't get past the new layout to see if they will really be useful or not.

Remember how sometimes we look back at what Howrse used to be like? Well, we'll be looking back at what we have right now, because we're getting a new update. I wish we weren't, though, because the newest updates are a pain. Ever since we got them, Howrse has been really slow for me. Hopefully they'll fix that.

Last time we got 12 tickets per day. 4 less will make a massive difference.

So the biggest thing is the new layout, which I think looks much sleeker, although I don't like the harshness of the white when the page fades. I'm hoping this will be changed as everyone on preprod is voicing their dislike of this.

Competitions have been made easier for beginners. Those with less than 20 victories and less than 710 points in each skill will be able to see rookie comps.

Everything with a time limit has now be set to the same scale ie instead of rolling 30 days passes earned from pass horses will be measured from the 1st of the month, answering Archimedes' question and safe haven will reset from the daily update instead of whatever you used it the day before.

New buttons will be added to the forums for spoiler, image and link tags so you don't need to type in the command each time.

Honestly, I thought the World Championship was one of the most relaxed and easy promos we've had in a long time. I used horses that are not near the top GP (including some foundations) and I earned plenty of points and finished with only 4 or 5 prizes left to get. I probably could have spent a mere 5 passes to finish but didn't want that divine. Most new players seem to get rid of their starting horses as quick as they can and buy higher GP/skilled horses anyway. Personally, I think new players should just concentrate on learning the ropes of the game before diving headlong into a promo. There are so many it's not like they're missing out by just dabbling in it a little bit and picking up some free prizes here and there. They already get so much to start out by just doing the quests as well, which came way after I started the game. One thing I've learned is that no promo will work for everyone

like the fade to white at the bottom instead of green and the equus display being rounded (so say, if you have 13,436, 867e it'll show 13, 436K at the top)

i remember with the last great challenge that you got a lottery ticket either when you helped somebody with an objective or when you completed all 3 of your objectives. Is that happening with this great challenge?

I thought the new header looked a little too modern for my tastes, but now that we have the mailbox icon back in plain sight *huzzah!*, I'll be glad when it's revamped up there, because it looks like a boxed up mess up there right now

Good thing I store my equus as wheat bran so I won't have to worry about the "k" stuff. I can translate that if I literally have 130,000=130k, but I don't know about doing that for having over a million.

I adore the new look but from reading the new description it sounds like it will be more difficult to navigate and I'd prefer if it didn't fade into white. It's such a pain on the eyes and imagine how much worse it will be when I'm in the dark.
