No - there are no Divines in the HOP right now...

However, this week-end, there will be 2 Divines offered in the HOPs (one offered for a few days, then another one).
However, I can't say which Divines are being offered.

I know, but they are really expensive to buy, and if you don't have any horses that are really close to 30 without immortality (this is true for me), then it's a big drain on APs. But if I did have horses that would be easy pass horses, then that would be a really good way to get passes!

Yeah they're expensive... all game currency requires you to work for it.

In a way, not really - I've found most to sell in a range between 95,000 to 150,000e depending on what items they have *ex. Those with Morpheus' Arms tend to cost more* and how old they are *a horse who is 30 years will usually cost more than one who is 26 years*
Given that this day in age due to the merged reserved - it costs a lot of players more to buy a pass with their reserve (For me, right now - I have to pay 550,000 something to purchase a pass with my reserve.
If I go to the Sales - for that same amount right now, depending on the age of the horse:
30 year old near instant pass horse = 3 horses
25 years = 4 or 5 horses
So it might not be as expensive as it appears. Plus - you can use those pass horses for competitions, lessons, coverings and earning droppings...all of which will help you earn back a little of what you spent on them.
Anyhow - that's just my thoughts on it. *goes back to hunting around her Spoiler finding spots*

As Shorah mentioned they are not that expensive in reality.
I never aged any pass horses, I buy them usually at 120,000 to 145,000 e per horse.
How do I get 1,450,000 per month. Easy. We all have workshops and if you have it running 24/7 you can manufacture enough goods to have that much each month. This is where I get most of my equs. This becomes a circle that feeds the passes I get each month.
I currently have 4,920 of tack worth 2,243,520 e that I can call on at any time I wish and this is NOT part of the reserve that shows on my account.
So I fail to see any reason why people cannot get at least 10 passes per month. It really is that easy.

I'm doing 2.5m/week in boarding fees from building a ton of boxes for my EC. Not for everyone but it's left me sitting very pretty for the last 6 months.
I wouldn't say building wealth is easy. It takes a lot of time and dedication to bring in a regular flow of income to your account.

You don't have to buy them for that much, or spend any ageing points on them either if you spend some time every day instead.
Go on the sales, and buy 10 horses older than 10 years. There are currently 10 horses for 12,000 Eq or less. If you bought them for say 12,000 eq/each, that's 120,000 equus, which you have. Make sure they don't have a philosophers stone or WoY.
Place all these in a RC. Now for one month, take care of them every day. After exactly 1 month, do the 1st step again, buy 10 horses at the age of 10 or older without p-stone or WoY. Take care of these 20 horses every day. Now you have 10 horses aged 10 and up, 10 horses aged 15 and up.
Do this and after an additional month, buy 10 new horses. Now you have 10 10-yearolds, 10 15-yearolds and 10 20-yearolds. Each month, a non WoY horse will age 5 horse years. It'll take 4 months for your first 10yearolds to reach 30, but after that, as long as you remember to buy 10 new 10yearolds every month and take care of your horses every day, you'll have 10 fresh pass horses every month, at a very low cost/no cost at all.
Remember to do the missions + sell the droppings + try to use the cheapest RC, preferably with feed included in the price. Offer coverings with your stallions, and if you're low on equus, cover your mares and sell the foals. In the end these horses will not only have been free, but actually earned you equus! Oh and ageing points
Taking care of 40 horses a day takes no time at all. If you wish, you can buy more horses than 10/month, earn money on them during their ageing and then sell them as passhorses...
This works like a charm, I take care of 1000 horses every day on my swedish account, I got 430(!) pass horses one month.

Those EC workshops are literally a gold mine. I was stuck at the 1/2 million E for years. Since they came in ( just earlier this year) my reserve just exploded and on other accounts ( other servers) I am in the 60 plus million and rank in the top 10 in wealth on most.
They take the least amount of work and allow you to do so much other stuff.

I use a similar method (except I was too impatient to wait a month before buying 10 more horses!)
I name mine in groups with 5 ages to each group (G1, G2 etc up to G6.) that way I can search by name how many horses of each group I have so I know when I need more, which I'll probably just breed so I don't waste money by buying more. I've been storing my money as fodder so I can produce a foal for 100e if I use my own stallions, and you can't get a horse for cheaper than that!

Yeah exactly, it's even cheaper if you breed them from the beginning.
and thumbs up for giving the tip of storing your equus as fodder, didn't even think about mentioning that :P

People should bookmark this page as this is one of the few times some of the top players have shown how to get there using resources Howrse gives them or using the minimum equs to get started. No one method works for all and some can use bits from each.
It is rare that this info is given out but for those players that actually WANT to get ahead I hope they realize they can do it and some direction/guides have just been put forward.
So for the people wanting to try the promos coming up saving passes is a road that has just been paved for you.
