The only thing that can be said for sure about it is;

Sometime in May - as the EC Time Line states that the first Draft Breeds will be added in May.

My guess is the Pinatas will end - we'll have the Flower Fight as a small filler - then probably around the 18th (as promos usually start on Mondays) - the Maze will start.

I had suggested mainly because if you have not found a draft within the Maze at least you would get one. From what I gather there are 2 drafts available so leave the earlier one where it is and have at least one draft on the route you MUST take nearer to the end. I still think that is fair. Anyone that has invested a lot DESERVES a draft so should be assured of one.

I went through the whole Maze and didn't get any draft. I even had maps showing where they were supposed to be. Now THAT is what I call unfair..

The Percheron and Shire are confirmed as the 2 new drafts. The maze and flowers fight are the next promos. Rainbow divines are being added to the game. Orange-named Cool Carrot, Red-Charming Red, and Yellow-Shiny Yellow have already been released. Blue comes in the maze with the draft. She can be bred with Yellow to get Green. All of the Rainbow horses thus far give diamonds on a certain day of the week.

I can't think of anything else that is general.default smiley (y)default smiley :)

Say I have a draft with one cover left - if I then go sell it won't the buyer be able to breed the horse? Or does it just mean that any cover offers are cancelled?
What about selling a pregnant mare? Is that doable?

I hear you loud and clear.
Like so many I have SO been looking forward to the draft horses arrival. And now I'm told I might not even find a single one in the maze default smiley :(

Fair enough that they are not at a set location, that would make it too easy. But they should be placed somewhere on the map - and I do not mean at some dead end.

Perhaps place the first one aprox mid way, so that both those that have chosen the shortest route and those that take the long way around can both find it.
For the dedicated ones a second one could be found closer to the exit.

I get it that Howrse would make them difficult to find, but this is beyond discouraging.

With the current tweak the maze holds absolutely ZERO interest for me. I do not care about getting a divine, should I make it to the end.
All I'd love is a draft horse....and I'd be over the moon if I could get 2.

One of the reasons I even came back to play the game was looking for draft horses.
Now 1322 days later I'm told lookit we're getting draft horses... your not guaranteed to find one, even if you finish the maze. If you do we'll give you a divine though... you can spend passes on treats and open TC's to progress faster...

and my question to that is.. WHY should I do that exactly?
Sorry if I'm sounding bitchy... but that's the way I feel

it will be expensive to finish yes. You will not be able to finish it without spending passes - do not know if we can spend diamonds though.

@Asfridur. From my understanding when you lit the horse up for sale it just cancels the coverings the horse is offering, so someone doesn't buy it and then the covering is used and they can't breed the horse. The horse can still breed after its sold its just unused coverings from the stud that are cancelled.

They said breeding drafts would work like donkeys ie:
I put a draft up for sale with a covering offer, so the offer gets cancelled, someone buys my draft, and then they can use that cover as they wish. And yes, you can sell a pregnant donkey so I am assuming you can sell a pregnant draft, the foal they are pregnant with will count towards their three though.

that really seems unfair that we HAVE to have passes for the maze. Not all people can het passes or a lot of them.

Asfridur, what it means is this;

If you offer a Public Covering with a Donkey, then sell the Donkey before the covering is accepted...That covering is 'canceled' (meaning no one can accept it.)

However, in playing around with a Donkey on testing (who has 0 coverings). I offered a public covering ~ then sold the Donkey.

Looking in the Public Coverings - I can not find this covering anywhere. With a different account - I bought the Donkey and in his covering history it says:

0 + 1 Pending

I was then (as the new owner) - able to offer 2 more coverings...before the button grayed out.

If I look on the Public Covering page now - I can see the two I offered...plus the original one.

If Drafts follow this same route - the new owner would only be able to choose what to do with the Covering IF you do not offer it publicly before selling the horse.

If you offer the last covering publicly - then sell the Draft...the new owner will not be able to choose what to do with the covering (But they will get the Money for it being accepted)

If you sell the draft as is with one covering remaining (not sent out publicly or privately) - the new owner will be able to use that covering how they wish.[/spoiler

For the maze I think you would need to use a minimum of 10 passes to complete it.

Based on various calculations - 10 to 30 passes seems to be the average that people come up with.

Unfortunately I don't have ten passes. Looks like I won't be completing that promo. Honestly, there should be at least one good promo that doesn't require tons of passes to complete it. (Probably never going to happen though).

I agree. Now I realize that pass buying keeps Howrse in business. So I'm not saying that ALL the promo's should not require passes. That's crazy. A lot of passes are bought during promo's, and that keeps Howrse running for all us non-pass buyers. I just wish that Howrse would make a FEW promo's that don't require passes to complete. Or if they're really desperate, they could have a FEW promo's that only require like 1-5 passes to complete. Just my opinion though.
