Schleich!
By Retired breeder, 27th January 2015 19:21:59
I have collected for around 2-3 years now and I have 60 something models.
I was given 10 a while ago that were very, very old. Dated back to 1994, and two so early they didn't actually have dates on them! I have two riding sets (old classical & old western) and the pony riding carriage. I also have six or seven rabbits, three dogs and a zebra somewhere in there. I used to collect them hard core, but now I only get the retired ones or ones retiring for that year. |

Fizz2, just use regular Acrylic paints, like CraftSmart, Apple Barrel, Americana, whatever. I like CraftSmart because when they're on sale at my Micheals, they are $2.00 for 4 bottles!
I wanted to see if my Micheaks carried Schleich yet, (no luck. ) and when I typed in Schleich in the search bar, it said "did you mean, Athletic?" NO! Big difference in those two words! |

That is so funny!

My rarest one I own is this Carmugue Mare. She is in LSQ condition, I got her for the normal sale price at an antique store with a whole entire room filled with Breyers and Schleichs. She was still in the packaging and I think I probably screamed when I found her. -screams- I WANT!!!!! Kate,I did not know that her head could fit on the Stallion's back.. That is so cool!! Thanks for sharing!! Yup.. :3 She does.

I do love Safari ltd but the only reason most of my horses are Safari and not Schleich is because I have no access to Schleich near me. Micheals is my main source of horse models.

I saw a tack shop video once, and the person had a genius design for boots. They were pieces of felt with a bit of twisty tie. They folded the end of the tie throught a jump ring and glued it, glued the tie onto the felt, and used the overhanging other end and just bent it through the ring as an adjustable buckle. I was like "GENUIS must DO!"

For youtube, do your stable name, for a stable name I did valencia farms, nature works best, like galloping creeks, blue meadows, and elite jumpers.
