I take to I'm the only one who hates how childish the figures have become :/ I've collected them since I was a child and what made them stand out is how realistic they used to be, I went into a shop the other day and saw some and they just didn't have the same quality as mine at home and they're not ad detailed either. Ah well, I'll just appreciate the knees I've got

On another note I have a collection of about 60 horses (some limited edition, old old but good quality, some still with the tags) how much could I potentially sell them for? I'm trying to save up some money so I'm looking down any avenue. Thanks for any insight/advice

Six people were killed in a series of shootings in Kalamazoo County and two others are in critical condition.
We are learning the suspected gunman, 45-year-old Jason Dalton of Kalamazoo, was an Uber driver and was driving a client erratically around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. In a Facebook post, the client says Dalton sideswiped a car, blew through a stop sign driving 80 miles an hour and was weaving through traffic. According to the client, he pleaded with Dalton to pull over and he refused, forcing the client to jump out of his vehicle.A half hour later at 6 p.m., Dalton was at Meadows Townhomes off G Avenue near Comstock. Police say he shot a woman several times outside her home and she is in serious condition at the hospital, however her injuries do not appear life threatening. Dalton then took off, eventually crashing his vehicle. Hours later around 10:15 p.m. two people, an 18-year-old man and his father, were shot and killed at Seelye Ford Kia in Kalamazoo. Police tell us a woman was at the scene and saw the shooting take place. They combined that information with surveillance photos from the dealership to develop a description of the suspect and his vehicle. Around 10:30 p.m. police say Dalton opened fire at the Cracker Barrel, killing four women and critically injuring a 14-year-old girl, before again fleeing the scene. The victims there have been identified as Mary Lou Nye, 62, of Baroda, Mich. (driver of Oldsmobile mini-van); Mary Jo Nye, 60, of Battle Creek, Mich. (driver of Chevrolet); Dorothy Brown, 74, of Battle Creek, Mich. (rear, driver-side passenger of Chevrolet); and Barbara Hawthorne, 68, of Battle Creek, Mich. (rear, passenger-side passenger of Chevrolet). The 14-year-old front-seat passenger of the Chevrolet is currently in critical condition at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Police say the women were in two separate vehicles and at least ten shell casings were found at the scene. Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting says it is a miracle the 14-year-old is still alive, saying, "I'm going to cross my fingers, say a prayer and hope like hell that she survives."Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, a Kalamazoo County deputy spotted Dalton leaving the Rugger's Up and Under Bar off West Michigan Ave. in Downtown Kalamazoo. He was pulled over and arrested without incident. Prosecutor Getting says Dalton did not want to get caught, however he was described as being "even-tempered" and did not put up a struggle.Police discovered a semi-automatic handgun in his vehicle. Getting says the managers of both Cracker Barrel and Seelye Ford Kia were instrumental in helping police track down the suspect so quickly, saying "no question more people would have died if police had not found him when they did." In the meantime, police were raiding Dalton's home off Douglas Avenue in Kalamazoo County. There, police say they discovered a substantial amount of evidence connecting Dalton to the shooting spree. We are told by neighbors that Dalton is married with two children and that they are worried for his family's safety since they have not seen them since before the initial shooting at Meadows Townhomes. Their whereabouts are a mystery at this point. Neighbors say that Dalton had been acting paranoid prior to the shootings. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety held a news press conference at 7 a.m. Sunday to update the public. Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting says there is no danger to the public at this time. Getting says there were three separate crime scenes and "these were not sudden explosions, these were done intentionally." Police are right now trying to discover a motive behind Dalton's violent shooting spree. When Getting was asked by the media if Dalton is a terrorist, he replied, "I don't have an reason to believe that it was anything like that at all." There was a four hour time period between the first shooting at Meadows Townhomes and the second shooting at Seelye Kia, we are told police are trying to find out what he was doing during that time period, and revealed he made phone calls to several people. We're told that Dalton does not have a criminal record, and he is expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon. Prosecutor Getting says he expects Dalton to face six counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and felony firearms charges. Sources say that Dalton works as an insurance adjuster. Police have released the names of the victims from the parking lot of Cracker Barrel, and the victims of from Seelye Kia have also been identified. State and local lawmakers are weighing in on this tragedy. State Senator Margaret O'Brien tells Newschannel3, "I'm absolutely devastated, I think about all the families involved my heart just breaks for them. They were just doing what we all do on a normal basis. You know going and having dinner with your family. Going and shopping for a new car. These are things we all do to have this all happen - you know you just can't wrap your mind around it. You say a lot of prayers. I don't know if we are going to get a why, or if anyone will be able to explain this. Watch things around us, watch for people who are hurting. There's so much pain in this world. Just treasure everyone who's around you and say a lot of prayers. They're going to have a lot of questions that may never get answered." Mayor Bobby Hopewell of Kalamazoo says, "I think that mainly we need to continue to do what we've been doing, social media. When this was going on people were telling people to stay insides and taking care of each other. That's what we need to do. And the victims, of course, we need to be there for them. Come out and just really support." And Senator Debbie Stabenow tweets, "My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the #KalamazooShooting. Yet another outrageous and horrible act of violence." |
