Harper, yeah I did see if! Frankly I though the foal was quite ugly, much to blobby, but I think it's just the gel nail polish, because her stablemates turned out wonderfully!

They did! Kinda cool! I am re-entering IMEHA to do a few confo classes, and now I know how to size the photos!default smiley <:o)

Thanks! It consisted of wire and fabric. Really hard to explain here.

@ValenciaStables
I'm sure you could! It wasn't that hard. Just need patience. I watched Netflix while doing it! Lol

If you want to go all out with a "real" tire, Lego ones would work fabulously! Also for XC jumps.
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 02:42:49
The ate looks great has any one made like jumps out of popsice stick and them painted them ? Want to see pics if done ?
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 02:49:23
I haven't but it could be easily done.
Also if anybody wants awesome poles, pencils. The cheap yellow school type. They have the flat sides and all. Only problem is they're probably thick. But if you get your dad to saw off the eraser, then paint, they'd be pretty cool!

Aw, your sweet! But I seriously couldn't do it no matter how I try...default smiley (li)

@Jo, I'm lucky because my mom has a dremmel, and I'm the only one who uses it. It wins like a dream an would be perfect for cutting pencils!
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 03:17:02
A dremel?! Me jelly... I think my dad has one but as of yet I have not used it for customizing purposes.
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 03:22:49
Never heard of one! Lucky duck if it is a chisel!
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 04:22:02
It's like a presision saw. So it's perfect for posicle sticks, dowels, and things like that. I love it.
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 04:25:10
I want one default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 04:26:28
Yeah. I used a fussy cut knife for a long time to cut my popsicle sticks down to size, but I got such bad blisters on my hands from it, and one day mom was like "Why don't you use my Dremel?" And I was like "Can I!!??" Lol. I don't know where I'd be without it.

This is what it looks like. It's got a really tiny blade, a light, and that thing that wraps around from the left is a little air blower that keeps sawdust off your wood.

So I've been thinking, ( Dangerous, I know.) Anyway, we re-did our barn a couple years ago, so most of the rooms (except the ones cows actually are in during calving) are clean. And there's this one room, that's probably like 12x12 feet, that used to be an old tack room. But now our tack is in the big tack room, so the little one is empty. And if I clean it up a little, it's not to bad. It's got cement floors, lighting, and an outlet. And I thought about bringing my old desks down there and setting up a sort of studio. My moms sewing room is also in the barn, as is all our power tools, so I think it would work nicely I I needed some thread, or to saw something. I'm getting excited about the idea. Right now I have to have all my stuff in my room, or the office, and everytime I'm ready to craft I bring it all into he living room, then all back when I'm done. It's be nice for it to have a perment home.
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 05:26:43
Yeah, that's a good idea. I always am finding myself wishing I had a room for all my art supplies and sewing stuff.default smiley :)
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 13:01:49
That sounds great! I have a craft/school room, but there's very limited crafting and storage space, especially in the winter when 60% of the table is covered in school books! In our old house, the supplies live in the basement, and I had to go into the kitchen to paint or hot glue, and then my painting stuff would get in the way of eating default smiley (lol) also your future craft room is bigger than my bedroom default smiley (lol) just make sure you always unplug any hot glue gun! Very important, especially in a barn!
By Retired breeder, 23rd February 2016 14:20:01
Good idea! Man, at first I had my own studio, but then I ended up moving into that room!default smiley xd
