I used to make loom band tack too! I can make good halters, a harness, easy halters, and a saddle for a tiny horse! (Like, not Schleich. More breyer mini whinnies sized.) none of it is very good, but it's still pretty cool.

Do any of you know of a good loom band tutorial? I'm designing some jumps, but tack has me confuzzled.

Halters, blankets, bareback pad, breastcollar, boots, there's many good YouTube videos for most of those. Maybe not for the bareback pad, though, but just cut a saddle shape from felt, and add a ribbon girth. Or a bosal bridle. Look up pictures online, it's quite easy. Hard to explain, though.

You should do a racing saddle and all of the above. Post pictures when your done.

Maybe not for the bareback pad, though, but just cut a saddle shape from felt, and add a ribbon girth. You can find a great tutorial on Desktop Stables blog! |

What height are most of the horses? I have a model from some off brand and want to know if the stuff I make will be semi interchangeable and the fences the right height.

Grr. Amazon still doesn't have the new Schleich. But hopefully tractor supply just got their new shipment, all of last year's are on sale, and none of them are $8-9... Too much to hope for, huh?

I guess I'll halve the sizes. 2" is about scale for 1 meter jumps isn't it?
