Okay I finally got my pics uploaded. I've spent SO much time working on my barn, I don't yet have it mounted on a board, so just ignore my crazy blue rug. Lol. Pretend it's wood. I'm going to be mounting it, and putting wood tile through the hallway, and I'm planning on showing it in open class at the fair. Tell me what you think! Any questions, suggestions?

Stable and Stalls

My stable from the top, and a view into the stalls. I've got a hay sack, grain feeder, salt lick, jolly ball, and water pail in each. I put black mats on the floor to avoid the mess of shavings.

A few more of the stalls. And sliding doors! I was really happy I figured out how to make sliding doors, as I didn't want ones with hinges.

A view of the inside of the horses boxes, Each one has a curry comb, leg wraps, lead rope, and I've got a fly mask in one.

Vet Room

Here's my vet room. On the outside I've got a bulletin board, and on the inside there's books, syringes, medicine bottles, a table, a hand washing pail, fabric wraps. and on the walls I've got a dry erase board, and a couple horse anatomy posters.

Everything a little closer up, You can see the covers on the books. And my two single stalls.

Tack Room

I've got my crops, and lunge whip in their holder, a poster of American Pharoah. (I'm a fan. )Then my cones, and saddle racks. (I haven't made my saddles yet.) On the bottom of the saddle racks is a sponge, and a bottle of saddle oil.

My saddle blanket box, Ferrier box (I've still got to make my clippers, rasp etc.) And more posters.

Wash Room
Click to display

In my wash room I've got my chains on the walls, a shelf with all my grooming supplies, and a hose holder thing. Lol. I'm going to buy some green earbuds and cut them apart to make the hose. That's why there isn't one yet. The pole that holds the hold even swivels.

Feed Room
Click to display

My little feed room. I've got my bags of carrots and apples, hay bales, and tubs of feeds. I'm going to be making some feed sacks but haven't got to it yet.

Extra's

Full body blankets I made with matching halters and leg wraps. I haven't yet made a pink and black halter for the paint but I will be soon.

The outside, with my dogs, Hitching rail, and bird house.

Wow, that is amazing! And you just started too! default smiley (7)

By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 00:59:24
She did! I am too lazy to make that great of stuff!
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 01:00:44
Wow how did she build the barns ??????default smiley :)k would love to do summ stuff like that pointers ???on how to start ?
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 01:01:50
Popsicle sticks! They make it easy!
I don't have a) the patience, b) the fine motor skills, and c) the motivation to make all that stuff! Tiny tack tends to make me angry since I'm so bad at making it; it just never turns out as well as I thought it might. I'll stick to making Breyer halters and occasional Schleich blankets, thanks. XD

I technically could make an awesome barn if I had the time, patience, material, space, and help... Of course I've had those days where I'm determined to make the best barn ever, I make the plans and the supplies list, and then it never happens. The end.
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 01:51:38
Yeah, it is really hard to make tack that small
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 01:52:36
I made a barn, but it turned out horrible default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 01:55:01
I tried to make a wooden arena out of, you guessed it, hot glue sticks. I failed, miserably.
Well, that would have been an interesting arena. default smiley (lol)

Oh gosh. I'm sorry pengy but that's an awful waste of hot glue default smiley xd think of all the stuff you could make with those sticks, and it'd only take one or two and some Popsicle sticks...
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 02:39:20
Thanks everyone!
I'll try to answer your questions. Yes, I made almost everything in my barn. For something shorter to call me you could call me Am, Emily, or Emmy. The barn is made out of Popsicle sticks, and small dowells. I'll try to get a YouTube set up and maybe post a couple tutorials.
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2016 03:17:28
I think I'll go with Am, for recognizability and security (because people could totally track you down because they might know your name... Still, to be safe.)

That'll be fine. I'm comfortable sharing my first name, because there is millions of Emily's in the world. But Am will be easier, because it's part of my username.
