Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily objectives

HellOw,

After completing the Beginner Objectives, you can complete two daily objectives!

Depending on your seniority level, you will either win Equus or Passes.

How to find your daily objectives:

On the homepage of the game, right after you log in to the game.

By clicking on "Achievements" and then on "Daily objectives".

If you complete 10 daily objectives before the timer runs out, you will be able to open a Horn of Plenty .
You can check the timer and progress through the gauge bar directly above your objectives.

Swapping objectives:

You can swap one objective once a day.

There is a blue button with arrows on each objective. If you click on it, you can use Equus to swap it with a new objective.

On this topic, you can:
Ask for help to complete your objectives.
Share your progress.
Share tips and tricks with other players.

For Congratulations requests, please use this topic: Looking for Congratulations?

All forum rules apply, which includes no advertising.

Have fun completing your objectives!

One of my daily objectives is to catch a UFO, how do I do that?

Play your game and wait for something to start flying across the screen. Most commonly; carrot , mash, English saddle or bridle, or aging point. Player UFOs count too, if you are lucky to find one.

Community>Directories. From there you can access the player, horse, or creation directories.

One of my objectives is to look at the specials horse page, it's not letting me view it. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or not. Can someone help me or tell me what to do?

Achievements menu >> Special Horses page. If you are using the app or mobile version I highly recommend switching to the browser version as the mobile version is only set up for emergency access.

Question about the colour bonus: if you have a white and red saddle cloth and ear bonnet, would plain white wraps still result in a colour bonus?

As long as there is one common colour, yes.

A good way to get a gift back is to send a gift to an active friend and hope that they see it and return the gesture. Asking for people to send gifts here on-site, even good friends on your friends' list, is a reportable offense if they so choose. If you have friends off-site who play, you can ask them and it'll likely go down a lot better than requesting a gift from someone you're exclusively friends with on Howrse. And if all else fails, just send a gift to an active player on your friend list.

Hey! I'm on objective 101 'validate 4 special features' any idea what this means?
Yes, it's asked at least once a page in this topic.

The four special features are the one displayed prominently on the beginner objective page. The ones that unlock when you have completed the stated number of objectives. EC creation after 25 objectives, direct sales after 50, grand Prix after 75 and reserved sales after 100. Once you've finished 100 objectives and unlocked the reserved sales by doing the tutorial with Emma, objective 101 will validate.

Hello,
I have a daily objective to groom a divine horse, but I do not own one. Is there a specific horse that I can find from another player and groom it, or I have to buy one myself? Thank you in adavance for your help.
I'm afraid you have to own a Divine horse to groom it.

You can look up Xanthos through the directories, go to one of thier pages and you will find a link to stroke it.

Welcome a new boarder in your equestrian center

Help?
Someone has to board a horse at your EC. If you have a spare box or one reserved to you, board one of your horses in it. It'll work.

So I have a question. Why do I get objectives I can't complete? I can't buy level 2 protection equipment and I don't have the specified color available (a few horses have specified color).

That's simply the nature of Daily Objectives. The point isn't to be able to complete all of them every day as you're starting out; it takes months or even years to amass enough resources (equines and otherwise) to be able to complete the objectives without batting an eye.

It's been said that older players have a greater chance of receiving objectives such as dehorn a unicorn and win a rosette, but I'm not sure if/where that's been proven.

If you don't like how the system works, you can always send a message to Contact Us about it.

If you go to your EC and go to Boxes, you'll see tickboxes down the righthand side of all your boxes. There are headers and one of them, more towards the left, says "Wear and Tear." The % number you see shows how much your building needs to be repaired. Select a tickbox for one of the boxes and, again on the righthand side, at the bottom under where the list of boxes are, hit the plus sign next to "Change Boxes." This gives the option to repair a box.

This also goes for workshops and greenhouses.
