The Great Challenge

and Water Battle



The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by the Water Battle.

The Great Challenge part will end on 2025-07-29 12:00 and then the Water Battle will start.

The Water Battle part will end on 2025-08-04 14:00.

Lactarius will be available until 2025-08-05 14:00.

As a reminder, the community goal was removed and replaced with two fixed-time UFO sessions per day during the Battle.

There are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this event. The number of fragments in Tyche's Crown was adjusted accordingly.


How to play?

As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:

The Great Challenge part: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.

The Water Battle: Collect UFO’s and trade them for prizes or get up in rankings.


Part 1: The Great Challenge

Collect Horseshoes: Every day, complete multiple objectives to collect up to 100 horseshoes. 120 if you buy the Premium Key.

Unlock Gifts: As you gather horseshoes, you'll unlock awesome gifts at certain thresholds, like game items, divine fragments, and more.

Special Jackpots: Keep an eye out for the free Jackpot and other bonuses that await.

Buy the Premium Key with Passes to access:

Marvelous Premium Gifts: Gain access to more gifts, a premium Jackpot, and more divine fragments.

Extra Horseshoes: Increase your daily horseshoe limit to 120, helping you catch up or get ahead faster.

Buy the Premium Key early for maximum benefit, but remember, it's never too late!

The gifts that have been unlocked but not claimed during the Great Challenge are automatically given when the Battle starts.


Jackpots


Free Jackpot: Themis Scale


Complete the event to get the Themis Scale. It allows you to exchange a Black Market item that you no longer use for one or more items with a similar or lower value.



Premium Jackpot: Māori

starry aura


With the Māori starry aura, you can turn your horse into a Star and win fragments of the divine horses from the Māori series.


New Divine: Lactarius


You can find fragments of the new divine Lactarius in the event, and in the Tyche’s Crown. If you reach the top of the leaderboard in the Battle, you will win the horse.




Part 2: The Water Battle

Catch UFOs


During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in 2 daily sessions. Each session will give you the chance to catch up to 6 UFOs.

Make Choices


After catching a UFO, decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO. The value of the UFO's content affects the points you win or lose. You can wait to decide, but you can't catch new UFOs until you make a choice.

Bonus Items


Win bonus points by using items earned from horse competitions, friends' help, or your participation in the Great Challenge.

Climb the Ranks


Accumulate points to rise in the rankings, unlocking gifts associated with your rank and those below.

I decided to have one go at trading, starting with a BMI (forgotten what it was). After spending around 500,000e, I ended up with 5,000e as the prize. I decided to stop at that point. I know it's pot luck but swapping a BMI and getting aging points or 2* tack doesn't really seem right. I'm going to stick to keeping or giving away again now as I've never got beyond the Medusa's Blood level in any iteration of this. Not my favourite event. - I'm not a gambler.

The only times I have traded is to get rid of a beluga pinata. Really dont want a dozen of those filling up my inventory. By comparison a few aging point or 5000 equus is a really nice gift.default smiley (lol)

I feel that removing the negative points would defeat the entire point of the battle aspect. If negative points were removed, players could just keep everything, minus the small prizes, yet still get a highish ranking. It's a trade off, where you either score high for ranking prizes, or score low and get prizes from the actual battle. It's why it's strongly recommended not to send off ufos if you wish to keep certain prizes, as you would usually send more than you will get back from the ranking at the end.

I didn't mind the 5000e but was a bit narked to end up with that after spending 100 x that! I've gone back to just keeping things or giving them away if I already have loads.

If it was orca I would be keeping them like I did with the polar bear cubs last event. I want cute sleeping pets or phoenix. Piñatas should’ve stay with first event regular Hispanic piñatas. I have nothing against Hispanic younger child half or piñata game but these make a mess and then they got cuter faces.

I'm just trading lyres, belugas, and saddle cloths because I'll use everything but thosedefault smiley (lol)

I feel like this is a good event for new players/accounts because it's pretty easy to stock up on stuff like AP's and Equus with minimal effort/spending. I haven't had many top level prizes or been able to trade for much (new account = I'm broke) but I'm happy with what I've been able to get thus far

I rather like stocking up on items. I am not spending Equus on bonuses and I only trade 5 times in a row at most. I have 3 HoP, 2 Wandering Spirits, multiple wands, 10 Artemis Arrows, a bunch of Croesus Fortunes, 15 APs, some Heels, 1 beluga and I can't remember what else. That's a pretty good, I think!

I do end up wondering what those at the top end up throwing away in order to get to the top, as I've had an amazing round this time, yet the top has almost 1650 points more than me if I was to remove the minus sign.

if you have no chance to get good rank don't waste giving up prizes. it's not worth it. keep everything you get or trade to get better and keep it.

really happy with this event!

ended up with

8 blue and white saddle clothes

spent very minimal eqqus, never more than 5k a day! i really like how the balloons came pretty frequently, never took more than 10 min to catch all 6. i dont spend a lot of time on the game sadly, so i really like the events that arent super time consuming and dont require you to hop on at certain times.

Wanted to try my hand at competing properly this time, and I got below 200 for a beautiful second, but I've definitely run out of equus and have claimed almost no prizes. Probably wont do this again haha. Just keep the prizes (sike, if you all claim prizes i have a better chance of winning next time hehehe)

This was actually quite nice. I was only going for the prizes I wanted , but never trading for over 70k default smiley (lol)so I managed to get :
2x Harmony packs
2x C.Timers
7x HoPs
2x A.Tears
2x Wanderers spirit coats
5x F.Wands
1x Kairos Dial
8x Artemis Arrows
19x 5000 equus
But the amount of Lyres and Belugas I got in those balloons was insane default smiley (lol)
All in all can't complain much , I liked that wasn't forced to come in every few hours before a new round , like it was before, prizes were good default smiley ^)

very happy. spent 8980 in trades. was willing to spend 2430 on a trade but never had to. most of the time the max I spent was 270. a few times I did an 810 trade. only things I did NOT want were fortunes and lyres. Walked away with NONE of either. usually in this event I have to take a couple of the ones that I don't want because I refuse to pay more for the trades but got lucky.
