I dont know if they count towards ows apple but we will get the prizes in them

I WOULD have gone for the Ow's Apple if it included Iris Coats, but apparently it doesn't. Howrse really hates Iris Coats, don't they? (They don't appear in trophies, either!) Well, maybe Metal Element or Fairy or Ghost Riders are the next best thing since they have +14 for every skill? But I'm not skilling right now so . (It would be cool if you could get an already retired RC from the Ow's Apple, but probably too OP. )

I FINALLY completed the Dragon Samurai set by getting the Bridle, though, after getting tons of Ear Bonnets for no reason. Now if only I can get several more of this tack to complement all those Ear Bonnets. (At least my Knight's Tack is perfectly finished without any extras! ) At least I got some interesting stuff from the chests, though they're not extremely useful to me right now. (Though the equus helped with getting Helios' Rays and I got a Harmony Pack by exchanging the HoPs! )

As for the companions, I can put them on AP horses, so they won't go to waste.

I was mostly asleep during this event though, because there's no Hestia's Gifts obviously. So .

I did end up getting a few more crystal towards the end of the event but I have none on deck and since the boards got more difficult again I won't be getting any more. I'm still missing 6 prizes I would have liked to get, most of what I ended up with was store items and companions, and with the shortened runtime I won't be getting Ow's apple either.

So guess how thrilled I am with this event.

I love the game! I got some items and tack I needed like crazy. Plus I am close to getting the Ows Apple and planning to use it on a horse for the spirit environment series.
I know I will not get the mushroom divine. The Apple is attainable though.

Well I went all out, managed to get some nice prizes, and just 3 fragments away from getting mushroom ! I love this event so no regret that I spent a lot of passes on it

I am also 2 chests away from Ow's Apple without having to spend passes.
I have 2 gold chests and a crystal waiting to be opened. I also still have 26 boosters.

I think my strategy of actually trying for wood chests in the beginning, worked well for me. Now it is almost difficult to get one now. I have been timing my opening of chests and use of boosters to when I will be awake and/or available.

I have had fun with this event. I now have all 8 of the top crystal prizes and 2 pieces of the Dragon Samurai tack with a number of chests still to open. I am on my second round of wood chests and I like the little stuff in have gotten too.

I got through rotation 1 of my crystal chests yesterday, and have opened 1 repeat so far.
Timewise, I think I can get another 6 crystals before it ends tomorrow. We'll see how the boards favor me.

If we end up with chests that still have time left on them tomorrow (supposed to open after the event ends) will they open automatically or are they just lost?

I was able to get Ow’s Apple, now the hard part is trying to decide one what I want, lol.

I will complete the last level tomorrow. The Ow's Apple is what I have been looking forward to. I will be using it on one of the Community Wanderer's Spirit. Either Oceanea or Hermes.

Then I have only one more left to get. But keep bringing out the Ow's Apple as I still need some of the other coats for collections

I will finish tomorrow but have had bad luck with getting crystal chests this time round. Got all the prizes from wood and gold and going round again but only a handful of crystal, which is a shame as I think some of the prizes are misclassified. Just got a lunge in a gold chest. I can buy them with equus or make them.

I finished all the levels and got the Apple! I loved this game! I admit I was impatient so I had to buy passes for the master key not doing that again! But so worth it! I was able to complete my wandering horse environment collection coats and still have some play money leftover! If you can call 54 passes that. I also am now two seeds shy of being able to start a pass seed crop. Seriously.
Well, it’s been a wonderful blast!

I will finish it. not a fan of the final prize so didn't care about finishing it. just went for bigger chests and didn't spend passes. I am at 40/45. and have 3 crystal chests opening in 8h45m. I have 6 boosters. in like 45 minutes I will use the 6 boosters and will open the 3 chests. then see what I get.with the boosters tomorrow morning I should be able to open some of the 3 chests and then get a couple more so will definitely get the 5 more I need. pretty happy with the prizes I've gotten. only thing I'm not a fan of is the final prize. to me its not a good FINAL prize as the only final prize. so I didn't spend passes. last go round of this promo I spent the least amount of passes possible and opened the 3rd chest 1 day early. let me guarantee finishing the promo and stop having to go for low prizes. I've actually done so well on this promo chest wise I have 8 wood prizes that I have NOT received. I've received all the gold and diamond.

I'm missing 6 crystals, with 3 waiting. Two of the tack pieces are in those I'm missing, so crossing my fingers, as I would love to make a skiller to try to qualify for vip with it at the start of the month. I might spend if required to ensure I get left with all crystals after these ones, but I will see what happens in the morning. Considering I joined almost a week in, I think I've done pretty well.

I got the divine thru few tychee crown but with some i like wishing fragments were in chests but then some will be unhappy. Getting Oceania coat probably later today. I like the unicorn wanderers and butterfly wanderers but i think they are all cute and got half of them thru sales after cards event. The next ows apple I'm probably getting Hermes or napoleon if i don't have them.

But, if I remember from before, they won't count towards the Ow's apple??

Chests are counted at the time you get them, so they would have already been counted.

They do count, because the cup towards the Ow's meter is earned when you complete a grid, not when the chest is open. There's a pop-up when you finish the level that shows both the chest won, and the cup

I quite enjoyed this event. I actually managed to get a ton of crystal chests, so much so that I got every crystal-chest reward. It had some good rewards and was fun.
