Poll

2 draws is better IMO, not having to think about logging on or forgetting a draw

Was easy to buy and request tickets this time

By the end I managed to buy 4 vintage apples, a C timer,1 arrow and some lower level stuff.

Only request that its time to switch up the zonkeys and jennies with something else now, you no how many players feel about them by now.....

I have no comments about the great challenge, I usually but the premium pass to make sure I can finish it (I dont always remember to log on everyday, so the extra 2 days helps).

For the lottery, I have a few thoughts.
I much prefer the 2 draws a day. I was able to enter almost every draw (I slept through one), usually I end up missing a good portion of them.
I like the clover shop to pick your own prizes, however I wasn't thrilled with the prize choices. (This happens with most shops though, its more subjective to each player).
Like others have mentioned, it would be nice to choose which prizes to keep after each draw, instead of an all or nothing approach. (Ex: I win a tack, some clovers, and a BMI. Id trade the tack and clovers but keep the BMI).

Honestly, pretty happy with the results. Free stuff is great, so I'm satisfied.default smiley :)

I was wondering why we do not get fragments with objectives when the great challenge and lottery are the contest?

Just wondering. Otherwise, not my favorite contests but satisfied with my wins.

Much better twice a day. The clover prizes to buy were not that great. Because of the twice a day it was an improvement though.

There needs to be a change regarding always getting a Jenny and the male version with this challenge. I was happy about the set draw times being only twice a day but when the event actually gotten to them I think I prefer just once a day.

Question 2 is worded weirdly:
2. How easy was it to understand was the contest

I think it's important to mention that, with how high the zonkey trophy is, there has to be a way to consistently get them, otherwise barely anyone would finish the trophy set. If they were removed from the challenge, they'd probably just end up placed elsewhere. You can always sell them if you don't want them. default smiley (y)

I absolutely preferred the twice daily draws but the clover store was completely underwhelming.

It's ridiculous that fragments aren't included in the daily objectives for the lottery event.

Both the Great Challenge and the lottery were just meh at best for me... then again, I've been playing for a very long time so all of the prizes are nowhere near as interesting to me as they would be for a newer player, so points there, I suppose?

I second what other people are saying about being able to win lottery tickets for the next draw out of the tickets you've got, like you used to be able to back when the event was first started, and I don't like that it's an "all or nothing" thing with the prizes and if you want to keep them or not.

I definitely prefer the two draws per 24 hours ... I absolutely ALWAYS missed 1-2 draws due to work and sleep because this is the Int server and timezones are a real thing.

In terms of how those two draws were structured ... I agree the starting price for tickets needed to be lower to balance it out, friend tickets should have been doubled, and UFOs should have been easier to find. Competition tickets should have been higher, too.

Personally, this has always been my least favourite event and I loathe how often it comes around. It's not engaging, and the prizes this time in particular were especially underwhelming. I'm not about "gimme gimme gimme", but I do feel there needs to be a better ratio of valuable gifts available.

I like the two draws and I do like that we get clovers to purchase some things but I wish it was spread out a little more. I like getting gifts in the lottery draw. I wish there were more gifts you got and less clovers.

If I got to rate them separately, I would have given The Great Challenge part higher votes, and the Lottery lower. My Survey answers are an average since voting was combined.

The Great Challenge part was great. Simple, easy, decent prizes. My only gripe here is that on the weekends Entering the Grand Prix was still an option for horseshoes when you couldn't do it.

The Lottery was confusing to figure out at first, as I have never experienced one. Also a game where I spent the most Equus for meh prizes. I mostly traded my tickets in after a decent first draw, but the rest were unimpressive my last one wasn't great either. I just feel for the time/money spent this is my least favorite game I've done so far.

Didn't the fragments used to be lower than 145 clovers initially?

I got lots of prizes and freebies, which is nice. I did not get Flame, which is a meh divine, so I thought it would be easier to get. Impossible to get it by buying fragments as the cost went up way too fast. That said, I struggled to be around for the UFOs and missed out on many of them, despite always sending to friends.

Again, free stuff.
Enough with the donkeys, zonkeys, zebras already!! They are virtually useless.

I agree with TJavaBean626. The Great Challenge was fun and had good prizes. The lottery, however was underwhelming. I easily spent about 100k or more equus and hardly got anything that I wanted. I would've expected more/ better things since I finished the Great Challenge

I liked this version mostly. The 2 draws was nice even though I would sometimes still feel the old anxiety about getting to a draw at a difficult time, even though there was no nee for it. I feel like we did get a good amount of clovers and there was definitely more people winning big prizes even though I didn't. Some things that may be addressed in the future since so many people are upset ( I know some people will never be happy, unfortunately), with only 2 draws we did get less tickets overall. The lotteries I played had 3 draws a day, my mom had played when there was 4 sometimes, and that means that there was atleast 5 less friend tickets, 2 less comp tickets, and the buy tickets would be more expensive for the same daily amount since there was 1 less price reset. Also 1 or 2 less ufo tickets. I also do not understand the price in the store changing for an event. It's a store you win currency to "shop" I don't see a problem with just leaving the price the same and having people get 2 or 3 of what they want if top prize instead of having to mix it all up with lower and lower priced items. I do get that for fragments but the price could be raised or you could make them a winnable prize in the drawings and have them be easily gotten at small increments if so. Also, I know it's frustrating as a new player but by your second or third one you should have been able to plan for such events and have a few horses that win comps and saved some equus to be able to not even worry about getting those tickets. And these prizes help get you there when you are new. Just got to play strategy. I don't play like my mom does and still struggle with comps sometimes but she just takes care of her daily horses and usually has everything done she needs.

I loved the 2 draws even though I usually made all of them before just didn't have to stress it with being asleep, work, or taking care of a new born.
I would say that the prize pool for what you could win with tickets and get at the store should have been most different, ie PoC, arrows etc.
Also more variety in companions. I mostly only care to get new ones but if I'm getting them anyway would rather not have 30 that are all the same or basically the same.
I'm not offended about the prizes they are free and even though i didn't get a big prize I did get fleece and broach etc which I like.
I think more luck items should be prizes since they are random worth anyway and they are better gifts in my opinion than some of the BMIs I don't use. I also don't think there should be chance of super high value items like nyx pack for every event unless a jackpot type prize. If they make everything high value easy to get they will be as worthless to most of the players as everything else seems to be and then they complain about nothing being good enough even more.
We did miss out on amount of tickets because of the ones we'd get on the extra draws, but that can made up next time if it is to be fixed. And I too do not like that everything's price goes up with purchase. I understand the tickets but triple each time especially with 1 or 2 less draws is a bit much if the clover prices are also going up each buy.
Oh and my last thing is the zonkey family divines are getting so old. A lot of players don't even like them and I understand their use is mostly for trophy's for some that do use them but my goodness variety is nice too. I'd take a useless Divine as a guaranteed completion prize than a donkey, or I did like the repeat of fragments for different editions. That's how I got a Jenny and I think maybe a donkey too. Fragments to add to the ones we have sitting around or getting something after participating in so many challenges because the frags added up.
Or like those pieces you get of tack that turn into a horse or something? I remember them being in hops a while back.

Great challenge was fine, I missed one day and still finished it without the pass key. Don't need the donkey divine thing, so I'll probably sell it. 8/10

Lottery is not my favorite. I miss the way it was. 2/10

The prizes have been terrible for the lottery and the clover exchange. They promised us better prizes with less draws but this does not seem to have been the casedefault smiley (n)default smiley (n)default smiley (n)

I got two Hestias Gifts from the lottery so I was quite happy though if I remember correctly there used to be a lot more gift options to win.

Thank you SO MUCH for moving from 4 draws to 2. With international time zones, especially for those people who work and can't log on that many times a day, it was super helpful!

Things I liked:
Set draw times
Multiple objective options

Things I didn't like:
Donkey/ Jenny as the big prize
Getting tons of clovers
Getting the same piñata companions

The great challenge has come a long way, but I feel a lot of it has fallen off. Same goes for the lottery. They're just not as interesting or exciting as they once were

I got 50 prizes, apparently, and other players got an average of 470? Am I reading that wrong?

Anyway, the prizes aren't amazing especially considering we are going down to only 2 draws per day and they said they'd adjust it so it wasn't as much of a loss. I only got a couple decent prizes even though I was stacking 12+ tickets per draw and exchanging when I didn't see anything I wanted.
