Cards: Art History

The Cards event is back, and we will take a lesson in Art History this time

The Cards event will end on 17 February 2025 at 16:00 CET.


How to play?


Click to display
Collect and scratch cards to complete puzzles, and win gifts.

There are three different types of cards:

Gift cards - Will grant you a prize immediately.


Puzzle cards - Will grant you a prize once the puzzle is complete.


Joker cards - Will help you get the card of your choice amongst those from the same level.


If you get a duplicate card, you can exchange it for a new one of the same rarity, once daily.

Complete all 5 puzzles to win a divine horse!


How to get cards


Click to display
There are different ways to get cards:

With a daily connection (2 cards per day), with a bonus if you log in 5 days straight (1 Gold or Diamond card).

When taking one of your horses for a ride (1 card per day).

From winning a competition with your horses (1 card per day).

In the Flash Sales.

By spending Equus to trade your duplicate cards (Once per day).

With Passes.


Each time you buy a card in the Flash Sales, you get some points. When you have enough points, you unlock a private sale for a Joker card!

Nouveau

Art Nouveau is the new divine horse from the Art History series. You can get his fragments in the Tyche's Crowns, by playing the Cards event, or by completing your Daily Objectives.
The Tyches Crown promotion will end on 18 February 2025 at 16:00 CET.

I know relying on the auctions is no way to complete this event but I was naively hoping I could snag at least a single gold or even silver card from there, but after seeing the prices some of you lovely people are bidding on them for... Yeah, count me out. I'm sorry but who on Earth is paying hundreds of thousands for silver cards and millions for gold cards? All the prizes combined are hardly worth these ridiculous sumsdefault smiley (d)

So far I've only gotten a single diamond card. I don't have much hope for the event at this rate. default smiley xd

Otherwise, I've always liked the card events.

Agree on that.
Most of the direct sales I don't even see because they are gone within half a second, so I have no idea what Gold or Diamond cards go for in direct sales.
But the auctions are rediculously high. I have plenty equus but I don't want to spend that much on one card either default smiley ;)

Just hoping I'll get the missing cards or the right jokers to finish in time. Might buy a few packs for passes if I need to.

I do wish there was a guarantee you get a card you don't have yet, when you trade one. Still need a few diamonds and golds...

If I read here that some have 2 or 3 Ti Amos already, wow, congrats! default smiley <:o) But luck is never very much on my side with Card events, LOL

I'm afraid that chance would be much lower. When trading, you can also get a Gold card you already have. There are 3 golden prize cards and 5 golden puzzle cards so your chance is 1 in 8, not 1 in 2.

Hang on, I thought trading cards always gives you card you do not have! That is the whole purpose of trading no? In fact once you have all the cards of the same value (eg all silver), you can no longer trade cards of that value even if you have duplicates! How is it possible that trading cards give you another duplicate?

Can someone please confirm this?

This is true (I have all the Silver cards and can no longer trade) so unless it's different for Gold for some reason I think I was right the first time and my odds are 1/2.

I *could* be wrong about the higher-level cards, but I don't think I am.

I'm only missing one diamond card and then I have completed the sets for the divine. I have spent quite a few passes on the packs but no diamond card. There's still less then a week left so I hope I can get it!

When you trade the only time you can get a card you already have is if you have the card in your hand and it hasn't been activated yet. I'm not completely positive this is how it works but I'm like 90%. You definitely don't get duplicates when trading if they've already been activated though.

If I remember correctly I tested this the last time and this doesn't work. Like, you can't just keep any "50 fragments" gold cards just to trade any other gold card into this one to get the fragments. It will consider the fragments as already yours (since you can't trade them if you don't have them already), so they won't be something you can trade into.

I've bought only one back of cards this event and I got two diamonds! That means I have won Ti Amo. I have two bronze cards for manure and bell boots to get and then I will have run the board. default smiley ^)

Still waiting on one more silver card :') So I can use my joker for the last one. Knowing my luck I'll choose one and immediately get it the next day default smiley (lol)

And then one more diamond card and I'll hopefully have the divine default smiley <:o)

Finished puzzles and got Ti amo, plus I finally decided to use my Jokers and got tons of fragments towards Art Nouveau. Now I'm 921 fragments towards it and while I have enough crowns to get her, I'll wait to see if maybe I'll get more cards with fragments

Got Ti amo! default smiley :) Still think it's crazy you can finish a promo/get a divine without spending any passes, but I'm not complaining.

It says you get a card of the same level. Which means trading a silver will give you another silver, trading a bronze will give you another bronze.
As far as I know it does not say you get a card you don't yet have.

When you trade cards, you should get one that you don't yet have. This used to be stated in the event info years ago, but even since it was removed it's always seemed to stay that way.

I've always gotten a card I don't have, even if I have 1 left from that rarity, which would worsen the odds.

Whenever I have traded a card, I have always gotten one I didn't have. I only needed one gold for Ti Amo and I got it this morning! default smiley (7)

Now I will just wait and see what I get. Hopefully I can finish some sets a second time. I will use my jokers on the last day.

Well on my way to my second set of cards. Not sure if I'll get them or not, we'll see, don't want to spend many more passes. I need 1 bronze, 3 silver, and 3 gold. But have a silver and gold joker to use up at the end. Managed to get the 2 diamond cards I needed this morning with daily log in and the ride card. Really pleased.

However, I do wish you could still trade cards, even after you have completed the puzzles the first time. My only small complaint.

OMG! Just had the best luck and managed to snag Ti Amo in flash sales!?!?! Not even sure how much I paid, maybe somewhere around 7mil? Anybody know what the price actually was? I kinda blacked out LOL

And one diamond card away from finishing the event and getting another Ti Amo!!
