Bell boots are a bonus you can give to your horse. You can buy them in the store under Tack.

There seems to be a fair amount of room for error in this event. On US, I fell behind as I missed the first day and forgetting to use a few of the daily jokers, with it just reaching 24 today, but I still feel that I will manage with the three left over jokers and 18 lives. If I can manage 24 with just the crystal ball after update and part of Sunday's dailies, I do feel that I can manage with the rest of the dailies, plus the family ties and the last crystal ball on 25. It's going to be tight, but I am confident I can do it. Would be great as well if I could get some heart tiles on 24 and 25.

The crystal ball opens 6 tiles instead of 3!! Super useful, thanks to that I'm half opened on 25 and should most likely finish tomorrow with no problem.

No, it can't be done. I didn't complete 24 today, which means I'll have less than 2 day's lives for all of 25. I'm not finishing.

I don't think I finished last time, either, since they nerfed your free lives by a LOT by removing the bonus 12 you used to get from completing the collections. Now it goes down to the wire, which means it's somewhat up to luck and if yours is bad, you just don't finish I guess. Just another way they made the events worse, but this is Howrse so I can't say I'm remotely surprised.

I think finishing for free will relay on a little luck. I have a couple of lives left after 24, and ready to start 25 now. But I will wait to use the two free jokers still available before the end to try and make best use of my available lives as much as possible.

Does anyone know what prices are hiding in the last board's pairs?

I know almost all the unique tiles on US for 24, with only two pairs being unknown. It shouldn't take more than 2 of tomorrow's lives, then I will have 10 lives and the two jokers for 25. The plan will be to use the family ties card to try to remove all those tiles from the board with minimal life loss, then, on Monday, use the crystal ball to uncover 6. The daily lives should be enough if the crystal ball uncovers 6 unique tiles. But there will be a massive luck factor involved here. I am prepared to buy a pack, but that will only be if I don't get it.

25 is a big ole’ 6x8 board. But I know 12 of the 48 tiles and get a family ties tomorrow. I think I’m on track to finish it without needing to buy lives.

It's different on each server and for each player, I think.
On INT I got a western saddle deck in 24 and already uncovered a Hypnos' Blanket in 24.
On NL there was a Hypnos' Blanket in 24 and I've uncovered spurs in 25.

On NL I got to board 25 already yesterday. After playing today I have 16 known tiles among which 3 pairs (thanks to the Crystal Ball joker), and still 20 unknown. So I'm playing 2 to 1 tomorrow, that's doable, and if not, Monday will bring me the final prize.
On INT I got to 25 today. I have 12 known tiles among which 1 pair, and still 36 to uncover. A bit more tight, but still doable with 12 more lives, + the heart I already uncovered in 25 so that is 13 lives.

My guess is I'll make it to the end on both, without having to buy new lives.

Strategy: on Crystal Ball days, I use the Crystal Ball Joker AFTER I finished all my lives, and on Family Ties days I use the Family Ties Joker BEFORE I turn anything else.
Some days it just takes investing all the lives you have to get to know as many tiles as possible. You can 'harvest' the next day, so to speak.

That double Crystal Ball did absolutely help today!! I did not read what it said so I was totally surprised when 6 tiles turned over

I have just one complaint, which is that on my laptop screen the black and purple jockey helmets look almost alike, which cost me a couple of lives. I realize colors show up differently on different screens. But in future maybe Howrse could brighten the purple up a little so there's a more obvious difference. .

I consistently finish this event, but I don't usually miss a day. I try to get two boards a day done in the first days. I count backwards from the end to see at what point I only need to do one board a day. Then I use one joker at the beginning and I completely finish a board. I wait to start the next board until the next day and I save my lives. I just finished #23 and I have 24 lives (+6 that I will get tomorrow) to use to get #24 after using my family ties joker. I hope this may help someone for the next time we have the memory event.

huh, I actually finished this one with no passes spent! I don't think that has ever happened

all done with this event it was ok i guess, only complaint i do have is it always gives the option to replay the grid with no prize why on earth would i want to do that unless it's for the trophy

How many fragments for Flammulina in TC?

Going to do the Athena medal one tonight or tomorrow. Might finish but no divine at end but last mazes would probably be huge.

18. It's 18 for the new divines unless we don't have the fragments from the daily objectives. Then it's 32.
At least it's been like that since we get the same amount of fragments each time. =)

On the last one with 12 lives. used the ball to get the free six and waiting for the family tiles to *hopefully* get that board done with the 18 total lives

Phew, finished with nothing spent. I always use hand drawn grids for these as my memory is rubbish. Not pretty but it works

I wish I could give away my extra hearts. I bought a set to be able to finish, but didn't need them all.

Finished with 5 lives to spare and no passes spent. Easily completable in the time allotted as long as you log in every day and use your jokers strategically (ie don't use on a grid you've already started). Prizes weren't that memorable. Hera, MA or even a Nyx would've been better than all the pets and low level tack.

Unless it is a really big one that you won't be able to finish with the lives you have anyway. In that case I do use the free joker, since it could save me some lives for the next level.

On INT I'm on level 25, 9 known tiles (of which one pair) and 11 unknown. Should be easily doable with the last 6 lives plus tomorrow's free Crystal Ball.
