HellOw,
It's that time of the year!
The
Advent Calendar
starts on
December 1s
t!
Open the windows everyday for surprises. You can get divines on Saturdays and on Christmas day!
If you miss a day, you’ll be able to open that window by paying Equus. The amount of Equus will increase every time you open a window late.
After you open a Calendar window, come share with us the gifts that you receive!
Happy Holidays!
The Howrse Team

Does anyone know why the advent calendar went away before the daily update. I didn't get to open my last day
Same here, I only just now logged on and never got the chance to open the last day.

I am wondering that as well. Why did they suddenly take away the Advent calender before it was over? We still have 1 more day, Howrse!

I missed the 24th cuz I had to take my cat to the emergency vet and I’m now learning that I missed the divine?? I mean I could’ve had a reindeer divine? This Christmas just keeps getting worse.

Howrse does not have a 25th door. It might have not always been the case, but the 24th has been the last door for years.

Yeah, why DID they remove it early?
I would have expected it to be up through Christmas day just in case (as is likely, with the holiday!) people were too busy to log on on the 24th, but closing it before the 24th is even over doesn't make ANY sense. At the very least it should stay til the update.

I don't think the issue is that there's no 25th door, it's that there's still several minutes before the update and it's a bit unfair to take it down early when people would logically expect it to stay up until the update. If people are just logging on now, it's still the 24th in Howrse time and they should have been able to claim their prize.

Yes, I can't explain that. But maybe they removed it early to stop people rushing it at update, just to be disappointed. That said, that could have been done a few minutes before update.

I missed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Maybe Howrse admin will reinstate it.
Doesn't seem fair or right that they'd remove it without giving players a chance when so many of us are celebrating and don't/can't log in.
Just my 2 cents. I don't remember it being like this the last few years...

It was exactly like this. On the 24th it would disappear.
It did however disappear 1h earlier than usual, so that's something to consider as well.

The 24th was the last door we had. I don't believe Howrse has ever had one for the 25th, and I've been here since 2008. Most calendars also stop at the 24th, at least where I live. I can't explain why they ended it an hour before update, other than maybe thinking the majority have claimed the prize and wanting to end it before people logged in after update, expecting another prize.
It's a lot easier to tell what the last prize was on desktop, as the image had 24 doors. I don't believe this was the case on mobile, explaining the confusion.

I am confused why the description on this page says you have a chance to win a divine on Saturdays and Christmas Day, I assume that they meant Christmas Eve since everyone got Comet, but I was disappointed that the banner was gone when I logged on earlier this morning. That said, I appreciate all the gifts I got and Comet who is a new reindeer for my collection.

In an unrelated note, but also related when discussing about time, I was unable to get gifts from my Christmas horses on the 25th and in my time zone it is still 25..

I enjoyed the gifts, and the reindeer on the last day was a really nice surprise. I’m sorry for any that missed out, I would be upset if I had missed that too
Most of the gifts weren’t BMIs or anything like that but they were still, gifts, and took no effort to get so I’m very happy with all of mine
Thanks Howrse !

The game update is not based on our time, it's based on its own schedule. The update on Int happened a little under an hour ago. In my timezone, it happens at 7 am, or 8 when the clocks go forward.
