Idk how you managed to get Ow's Apple without spending passes? I didn't miss any riders, but I still was 3 riders short from obtaining it.default smiley (o) Can somebody explain?

There were two (?) Levels that shortened the time to get Riders. If you just let them sit for a while instead of doing them as soon as possible it would have resulted in you lagging behind.

I guess I blew it! I got Ow's Apple but I didn't have time to spend my winnings in the shop. I couldn't get on until this morning. and when it said check your winnings, the page only showed 100% and then "nothing to display." Guess the shop closed with the event. Wish it stayed open to the next day. Oh well real life comes first!

I really would have enjoyed this if one, the event was longer, two, we were given more items to dress them, and three, if you had more chances to make items. !Do not! shorten the events anymore please! Keep them at regular length!

I remember the kids used to pull pranks on you if you didn't get their costume right.

I really loved this event! It felt more intuitive than last year's. Either I understood how to pick which costume a which better, or the designs stood out a little more. I liked them making faces so I knew when I made a mistake. I thought the 'hardness' via obtaining rare vs common clothing was honestly pretty balanced too. It felt very low-streas and fun to play. Honestly I'd like more events like this default smiley :)

I remember this too, and I wish they'd brought that back again this year. It was always part of the fun to see what pranks they had up their sleeves if you gave them a mismatched outfit or something.

I did not participate in this event because the prizes weren't very good and I absolutely hate the graphics. I cannot stand those smarmy bratty kids! It's been nice to just play my game.

I really enjoyed the game itself, but I ran out of costume pieces quickly. To make new costume pieces it required a lot of recourses which were expensive to buy. Additionally, if I ran out of a costume price and did not finish putting the outfit together to submit, my whole game would glitch and for at least an hour I couldn't play or open the game without it constantly bringing me back to the Halloween game which I couldn't even play because I was out of materials

I also wish when we purchased our prizes and we ended up with not enough money to buy something we could give that to a friend or keep those credits for the time we play that game or something similar. It’s very frustrating when you have two or three or five coins and you can’t spend it.

I really didn't like that this was part of the shortened games. While I'm not always fond of dressing the kids up, especially if I don't have the items they want and have already made 3 items for the day, it's not all that bad either. I did manage to get to the Ow's Apple, but just barely.

Next time please don't shorten it & please let up make more items a day. Not everyone buys passes, so if we don't have an item, we have to make it in order to dress the kids in the correct costume!

I liked how it was halloween themed, and I didn't feel like I had to come on so often except for when completing the tasks to shorten the time. The prizes were good, especially as there were halloween items available, and I was lucky enough to get most of them!

I wasn't able to get the Ow's apple, but I still have one from a few events ago, so I wasn't concentrated on getting it.

My only issue was that I kept having the children ask for the same outfits again and again, and I hardly ever received those clothing items when I completed the daily tasks. Because of this, I ended up giving them clothing that they didn't ask for, especially near the end. I did realise, however, that I kept getting the same items, mainly those to begin with, over and over even when I hardly had people asking for them. That was annoying, but I guess that's just how these things work.

Other than that, this event was decent. default smiley (y)

I enjoyed this event I got a mass load of really decent prizes which I am thrilled about & have now completed the WS Pranks which makes me so happy!!! And as others have said I didn't feel like I needed to log on every few hours to be sure not to miss anything so that was nice very stress free enjoyable event! Graphics were good too! Well run & good event thanks team!! default smiley <:o)

I managed to get two Fleeces and a Staff (which I tried to use for Jade... RIP) and droppings for my Plant divines, so I'm pretty happy. I was slacking off a bit when it came to the timings, so I didn't get the Ow's Apple, but it's fine either way, since I don't have any collectors' goal right now except to RCs my project horses, I guess. At least I got the Liana from last event! (As someone who's still mainly on hiatus from the game, it's the most I've been doing, other than working my divines, and other daily stuff, of course.)

The only issue is that you needed to pay BMIs to craft some stuff. As a self-proclaimed hoarder, I disagree with that. default smiley :p (I never understood why some players complained about the piñatas. I have a personal challenge to see how many I can get! default smiley xd Same with store items and such!) I like the short events, only because if you dislike it you don't have to be stuck with it for twenty-one days. In the Mazes event, which I've been anticipating the grand prize for since I saw it in the Spoilers thread, it was pretty disappointing to wake up one HOUR late and not get the prize! default smiley ^) At least with short events, you aren't anticipating for too long... as long as you aren't looking at the Spoilers thread. default smiley :-))

I really liked getting the Heras Lily.
I was 4 riders short of getting the special Ow apple. If I had been only 3 riders short, I would have spent the passes to call the kids.

I wasn't around as much for this event. However, I was very glad to see a Halloween event leading up to Halloween instead of starting on Halloween. Halloween has passed now and it's nice that Howrse isn't stuck on Halloween while many of us move on from that in November.

I like the riders event though, so I was disappointed to see it shortened. I see the idea was to celebrate fall and Halloween without extending Halloween into November. As November is still a fall month, I don't think a Fall event would be misplaced in November.

The blast event can *always* be shortened, it's torture. But I like the Halloween kids. If I had to choose, I'd keep the events shortened rather than deal with Halloween through November. Or I'd make Halloween the October event followed by a Fall event running in November.

I can't comment too much about the event itself since I wasn't really around.

Graphics were fine, although it wasn't completely optimized for mobile (images were a bit small so you couldn't be 100% sure what you were selecting was correct). It was nice not to have the same recycled clothes that we've seen a hundred times before though.

Event length was eh. Wish it could have lasted another day. I was unable to get the Apple for free because I can only log in once a day so I couldn't get the riders right when they showed up to complete the time tasks quickly. I find it kind of sad that it has to be done a certain way now or you won't finish without passes. I would have liked to see the milestones reflect the shorter event period, so there is a little more grace for those that cant log in every 2-4 hours to take care of a rider when a level grants a shorter interval between riders. It also felt odd for a Halloween event to end before Halloween, but no one could control that so it isn't a big deal.

Mechanics were eh again. I really wish you could have traded clothes as well as craft and buy(or craft more a day). I would often get riders that would show up and have to stay a few days until I got what they were looking for because it was what everyone else wanted too and I could only craft 3 extras a day. While I realize its random, I had several pieces of dragon costumes that just sat there uselessly because I didn't get far enough. I would have loved to trade those for wizard gear, especially when I had 5+ kids looking for the same wizard pieces at the end. Crafting was costly too. While it was nice to sacrifice some of the Arrows and Parchments for a greater cause, 200 Mashes was a bit of a steep price.

Prizes were good. A Staff is always welcomed. Got a few precious items but again, taking care of the riders at my own pace and the new event length really hit me in the coins so I wasn't able to get as much as I have in past variations so that was disappointing.

Overall, it was a pretty mediocre event. Not horribly bad, but it needs a few tweaks.
