Poll

My move meter didn't always refill. I would watch the timer go town to zero, and then I would not be given a move, even if I refreshed the page. I would leave it alone over night and a full next day and my moves were never even close to full. Even if I the meter had been working as it should, two hours is also a long wait.

Would have enjoyed it more without the bugs.

Anyone who isn't happy, you do know that you are not required to play the game, right? If the prize doesn't appeal to you, don't play.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is negative, as long as they respect the rules when sharing it. default smiley :)

I hate spending passes, I don't spend real money on games to buy things, such as passes. It takes a long time to save them up and by logging in every day, I still was not even close to the end. This is super frustrating for those of us who can't be on a computer multiple times each day. Prizes were not worth detouring to get, but even with skipping gifts, wasn't close to the end. Sad.

This was extremely hard to get through! Although I did get close I didn't achieve the end and for those who aren't constantly on I really don't know how they could even with skipping gifts which weren't really good until closer to the end. Most of the gifts were things you can buy cheap in the store like oats, one was even insulting because you can get it for free from your horses when you feed them and put them to bed. I agree if you don't like it just don't play but the end prizes like the monster egg and Tyche's crown (which I never got to) kept me playing hoping I would make it there. It is not fair at all to those who can't be online all the time to pace every hour or two. I suggest, if I haven't before or again if I have, these games be made permanent with maybe only the final prize changing. If permanent then everyone could get through these mazes and games like them at their own pace. And even though you don't have to play them.....the game would be very boring without those mini games since you don't have any 3D of the competitions, you don't see yourself riding the horse around an arena or track. I love this game but without the side games I can see how some would quickly get bored and play the side games even if they don't like them to do something other than just pushing buttons and caring for horses. It wouldn't be hard to add a page for permanent access to all the various mini games and they all are fun just sometimes with lack of time and not the best prizes we can get stressed and frustrated and feeling left behind when we just can't possibly make it through.

I play game like that but i like the cute golden apples on here and i can have unlimited horses and can make them immortal or retire them until i get a stone. I still dont think droppings should be a prize not everyone has plant divines. Kaktos likes them.

there definitely was not enough time to complete the mazes for major prizes, even when speedrunning and/or avoiding objectives/gifts/etc. people don't have time to be online 24/7 to check their meters and use their paces most effectively, and even as someone who has the ability to check often [+ also bought "lollies"] i was only able to BARELY receive tyche's crown when all i wanted was the hestia's. default smiley (d)

The “quality” of the types of gifts wasn’t consistent; for example, some silver gifts were higher quality than gold ones ♀️

This also happened to me! I'm not happy about this especially as 2 hours is a long time to wait, and it is really disappointing to lose a move after such a long time!

Thankfully this only happened once to me (as far as I know), and I was able to get through all the mazes without spending passes. However, I know that I finished only a few hours before the end of the event, and I think we should be allowed to have at least an extra day to try complete the mazes. This is because we all have busy lives and sometimes we can't stay on top of these events and log in multiple times a day, and it is a shame that we can't get the end prizes because of this.

The prizes were okay. I think the end prize was quite decent as it's not often we get that sort of prize. The other prizes were original and are really the same ones we get in every other event. So, there's nothing special there.

I thought the graphics were pretty mundane. As others mentioned, the prizes didn't "match" the gift box color. Getting droppings is kind of an insult.
And the directional arrows are confusing - up is up; down is down. Left is left; right is right. I lost a few paces because the map didn't update and I moved incorrectly.
Nice opportunity to gather a few BMI's but the treats were overpriced.

Did not complete this event but on the whole satisfied with the prizes I managed to get, also
this event is hard to play on a tablet as you do not have a mouse to enable you to hover, so
it is complete guesswork as to what direction to go in.

I agree with what others have said. Two hours is a long time to wait for paces to regenerate, and then, you only get one pace - it's not like the entire meter refills after two hours. It'd be nice if we could do something with our horses to earn a pace (like take your horse for a forest ride, or enter your horse in a competition).

I thought the prizes were average.

I wanted to get to the end to get the coat prize, but did't even get halfway through the last maze. There was not enough time to complete all of the mazes.

I had to use hard-earned passes I'd been saving to buy a divine in the future and basically made no real progress. Someone else commented the treats were overpriced and I agree too. I found the treats in the mazes to be scarce. I found the most treats near the end, but even then, it wasn't enough.

you play for what you use on the game, so different prizes are more wanted then others
I like that I could get an Eros egg, the main prize - either I don't fully understand how to use it to my best interest or I really don't care if I have it or not

the gifts were okay - only I few I would go out of my way for
I do collect fragments

For some reason I kept going wrong this time - usually I can hover over the arrows and get it right. In the past I've had a few sweets given to me in this situation so I can get back on track. That always felt like a nice gesture from Howrse. I didn;t really want most of the gifts - as a long time player I have a lot of lots of things - but did want to finish all the mazes so I used a few passes at the weekend to make sure.

I'm not worried about the prizes I'm just glad I was able to get something I think it's absolutely great that howrse run events just about weekly now it used to be monthly back in the day & didnt have anywhere near as many gifts which meant yeah they were a bit better but it was still really hard to progress game wise as it was harder to collect black market items etc I think everyone needs to take a step back lighten up & be greatful we have events being run weekly with many gifts even if some of the gifts arnt what you wanted or expected it's better than nothing the howrse team works hard to keep all of us entertained if you don't think the event is worth participating in then don't participate it's pretty simple... Lets be greatful rather than hateful, enjoy what you have not what you wanted. default smiley :d

As someone who has been here for almost 16 years, I don't think it is wrong to point out that the prizes have taken a massive downgrade over the years. I'm not just saying this from the free side of things, I'm also saying it as someone who spends a lot of passes if it turns out that the take home payout is worth it.

I made it to the last maze but didn't have the moves to get all the way through. I didn't have the passes to purchase extra moves even though I waited until they had more moves for the same price. Had I been able to buy more moves I would have made it all the way through. My daughter who also plays this game has plenty of passes, so she was able to get all the way through. Lucky her.

I was OK with the gifts I got. I skipped a number of them as I didn't want to go out of my way.

I just wish we could all get through these without having to spend passes since there are so many non-pass buyers and with back to back events we just don't have the time to save up passes completing out daily objectives.

The issue here is that Howrse doesn't run events just so a few people are entertained. They run events so that a majority of players are entertained and a smaller number of players spend money. If players are no longer satisfied or entertained, and feel the gifts don't justify the amount of time needed to get them, than Howrse needs to know. Otherwise Howrse will only end up losing money.
I know it probably is overwhelming the amount of negative response in the forum, but honestly it just goes to show how many players really do enjoy this game and want to help it get better instead of just not playing anymore.

The mazes were okay - I got through all of the mazes without purchasing extra lollies, mostly by "speed-running" and avoiding a majority of the gifts and fragments. I was also in a place where I was able to check the meter for moves regularly, which helped a lot, but waiting 2 hours was really too long a time. Even 1.5 hours would have been better. I also found the gold, silver, and bronze prizes pretty unremarkable and rather disappointing when I did collect one.

Managed to finish without spending passes but I didn’t bother diverting off the shortest route for fragments (no interest in this divine series). Good to be able to see what options are in the gold prizes on each level so I can decide if it’s worth diverting to collect or not. Generally fairly disappointing prizes, but the Eros egg was good to get. Don’t particularly enjoy the maze event - navigating is tricky (Yes, I know the app’s easier), and having to keep logging on to clear the pace meter is a pain.

I did not get all the way through the event, it took a really long time to progress through without passes. The overall look/artwork was creative.
