Poll

I like the maze promo, this one was no exception. I'm not that fussed about the starry auras as a big prize personally, but overall I was pretty happy with the items I picked up in the mazes and the amount of fragments available.

It would have been nice to be able to get two pink eggs though, or have one as an end of maze prize, so I could have ticked another zonkey off!I

Mobile version is definitely the way to go with this one if you play on a tablet/phone, much easier to navigate without making silly orientation mistakes (and yep I did very early on).

I liked this promo but the prizes were disappointing.

Went through twice, got the divine for around 2000 passes (plus most prizes twice!) always a good event but I thought some of the prizes were a bit confusing:

Presentation was good, liked all the gifts I got but it was hard to progress through in enough time to get the bigger prizes or fragments without buying candy and passes.

Mazes are fine. The prize levels were terrible. We used to get stuff like Hera packs, Golden Apples, and HoP fairly often in these things and now we're Medusa's blood and Croesus fortunes in those same prize slots.
I don't understand the fuss with the auras. I put the starry one on a horse awhile ago and he's been fairly useless for months so I'm not sure the point of these is beyond getting fragments... but i can't get the fragments because he's not competitive enough to win anything anymore. Maybe there needs to be an adjustment to the auras that keeps them competitive? Cuz I'm not putting this on any of my horses. I'm got enough of them that are just sitting there cuz I can't sell them.

I played entirely on mobile.
I didn't see anything in the visuals that made me think of space travel. I don't know if the classic version was different.

The prize ranking was awful. 40000e as a gold prize? Some of the silver ones were out of whack too. Really frustrating. Made me really question whether it would be worth using moves to go out of my way for a prize.

I didn't finish the event. I was on the Tyche's Crown maze. Since I hate the TC anyway, I just didn't bother. Very disappointing.

Loved the art this time around! It was very unique and new. The cyber theme was fun.

My biggest complaint is that the prizes aren't valued properly. 3*** tack was silver tier but bell boots were bronze? Bell boots are consistently more expensive than the most expensive 3*** tack item. BOTH should have been bronze tier. The custom clip, horseshoe studs, and 40k also shouldn't have been gold tier. They aren't very valuable items, but are still worth a little something. They would make good silver prizes.

All in all it was a good event I enjoyed and am super happy with the Metal series Starry Aura, but wasn't super excited about a lot of the other prizes. default smiley (y)

The game in itself was intuitive but as usual the direction of the arrow can be very confusing at times, which is a bit annoying.

I would also have preferred the gauge to replenish itself automatically when entering a new maze, which used to be the case before. I had to spend more passes than usual for this event, and I don't think it was worth it, which brings me to my next point:

The presents were SO BAD!!
Come on saddles as silver present?? Horseshoe studs as gold?? that's not very serious, I'm really disappointed on that. The gold gifts were also overall not that great, except maybe for the ones gifted at the end of the 2 last mazes.

Forgot to add that I'd really like pieces of divine tack to come back. I have a couple sets I'd like to complete.

Of all the various promos the maze promos are the ones I really dislike. As a rule, they are hard to get through and the prizes are not anything I particularly enjoy. This one was no different in those regards. That said I will give Howrse a plus 1 for trying to make the maze easier to navigate. My overall rating is a default smiley (n)default smiley (n)

I also made some orientation mistakes at the beginning that cost me. Once I acquainted myself with the arrows and the direction I was facing within the maze, it was fun.

The prizes were okay. I loved the look of the spaceships! I only spent passes on 2 packs of candies and that was because I let my meter fill up a couple of times and I did go for fragments and certain prizes.

I am not super thrilled about another aura because I have only ever finished off the fragments for a divine one time because of them, but I like to complete these events, so I did.

I posted this in the other maze forum, but I have put the aura on lusitano horses the other four times I have gotten auras. They have only had a GP of around 25,000 or less and I have never had trouble winning at least one dressage comp each day.

Would love to see more high-demand BM items if event was to rerun (i.e. tears, bolts, GAs, HoPs.) Lots of the items I ended up getting I don’t end up using (parchment, fortune, low bonus companions, etc). Most of them will probably end up in the exchange at some point or otherwise sold

Event was pretty intuitive on mobile. Having a prizelist for both desktop and mobile players would be nice. Move recharge was somewhat inconsistent as was prize tiering (i.e. having 20,000e and 5000e be silver prizes)

The game itself is easy enough to navigate, but a lot of the prizes were not great.

I liked the prizes as a newer player but it was kind of hard to progress

The prizes were laughably worthless, the only worthwhile ones were the ones at the ends of the last two mazes. It's a bad joke to have to finish the whole event to get all of two decent prizes. Why on Earth should I spend passes or even invest my time into an event that is barely worth it even if I'm completely confident I'll finish? Very much disappointed in this one.

I honestly dislike this event, strongly. Not only have I noticed that unless you pay passes, I can't go all the way to the end, the end prize also is disappointing. The prizes sprinkled throughout were nothing to jump at either. The only thing in this entire event that would have been worth something to me was the hestia, but like previously mentioned, I couldn't even get close to that.
I got only part of the way through that maze, all on the left side.

If this event gets run again, and I know it will, I have a few suggestions. First, decrease the time used to fill the meter, and second, like you do with other events, make it so you can earn candies via rides and comps. And finally, make the end prize something people are actually gonna use and want!

It Was Alright But Really Didn't Care To Use Any Of My Horses In The Maze Mini Game And Really Don't Care About Ascent Of Olympus As Well, Just Wish Ascent Of Olympus Would Just Stop

This was another game where you're only gonna get the great stuff if you spend real money. I'm not super thrilled with the prizes, but they're better than nothing.

As always, the map can be difficult to move through, you have to focus on the map every time to see the arrows change.

I did get frustrated with it at one point, and Howrse seemed to notice, and sent me some candy moves. That was nice.

I feel like players should be able to finish these games with dedicated logins / play time / ojectives to complete. I have a very tiny Howrse budget ($15 - $20 per month). But these games should be bonuses that help players like me stay competitive with the big spenders.

I do agree that the prizes were a bit bad, but I do disagree about it not being possible to finish for free. On UK and AU, I ended up missing some candies and refills, but I still finished with a few refills left. This was with going off path to get the golds.

While there weren't a plethora of amazing prices, I was able to pick up all of the gold gifts except the egg (which I don't use anyway) and still finish on time for free. So for me it was worth it, as I wasn't going after Lorel and got the jackpot Aura and a few other shinies for free. I did manage to get half of his fragments though so if he is ever in Ascent I may pick him up for free as well.

I started a few hours late and had a couple moves left over, though I didn't let my meter fill up (well, I did, but then when I made a move I realized that the next pace was in half an hour rather than two hours so I didn't halt the timer which is really what counts I guess). So everyone complaining that they had to spend a bunch of passes (and still didn't finish), just keep in mind that sometimes you have to prioritize fragments/minor prizes OR the jackpot.

I agree with some other people commenting here that the auras aren't really much of a prize. I've accumulated five of them and have no plans to use them.

I felt the prizes were fine. I just wish the steps recharged faster and that it was possible to beat all mazes with only steps and still be able to collect all of the prizes.
