This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

This is part of the reason I am on all English servers, those servers are a lot quieter, so even if I miss it here I can still get it on one of them if I really wanted it.

I’ve played for a long time and collecting has certainly gone a different direction, but there’s no reason for the rise in poor attitudes and entitled behavior from veteran players.

Collecting is different with the new system, it’s more competitive. Either adapt or miss the boat, but don’t be salty you chose the latter.

I'm also really surprised, I was away for normal as I was out, yet I was still able to pick up a few 100 copies I missed at normal, it's been a while since I've been able to do that and I was 30ish minutes late.

I rarely try to catch new coats, I have a tremor that makes it very difficult to click in the 10 second window for the rarer coats. I'd like to be able to be more competitive for it, but it's just not possible.

It's a shame, but I usually stick to the 200 or more if I like them enough. default smiley (l)

I'm just saying that noting the time of the post is important as well. Also to factor in that normal might not be something they can usually do, leading to complaining early. Not taking any sides or anything, I just believe a post like this should be looked at from multiple angles.

I wish, release for me currently is 11am, so I am working so it's early release or nothing unless it falls on a weekend. And the reason I have vip, although admittedly I'd struggle without perks like auto feed now.

Some of them went quite slowly this time, especially the donkeys, opposite to the last few releases. After a minute (normal release) there were still 100 copies coats that were not yet retired. Seems like horses and unis were in the hot zone this round.

only an hour diffrence from me, for me its noon/midnight releases with summertime and 11 am/pm for winter, not having many issues tho. those times sound better then people stuck at 4am releases.

anyhow, some people still try to do regular on break or something and succeed.

The sales after a release don't tell the same story - what your saying is perfectly true of course but the simple fact is a good 1/3 of the coats that are used are not actually wanted by the players using them, or they wouldn't be straight back in sales default smiley (8)


We are not suppose to discuss sales and prices, but to address comments earlier, the prices have been driven up over the years by one sector, or practice of the community. Naturally Inflation is then relative to the coats newer players may not have been around for, the market is driving the value, so if brand new releases with 100 copies are valued at max, surely so are long gone coats with the same sort of ballpark numbers available...

they want those coats just as you do. they want them to sell and you want them to keep for yourself. but even tho the reason and motavation being different it is none of your business, really

it is simply rude to walk around and shame people for what they do with their items, horses or coats if they are not breaking any rules.
