This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

They are not recent retirees, they are already in my retired tabs....And im not good at checking and moving so Bayriver must have told me at some point at a guess.

Last night there were only around 260 people online during the release. I should have been able to get every one of them. It's insane that Howrse doesn't enforce limits. Yet Howrse does profit over it, so I doubt they ever will. All those people running to buy passes so they can get those coats they missed...

Since when has it become a problem to collect every coat?default smiley (o) I'll have you know that I am going for the record. Having one of each should not become an issue. I take offense to that Oathkeeper. I'm pretty sure this isn't supposed to be communism. A little for everyone, share the poverty.

A limit of one 100 use coat each WOULD be nice though, as most of us can agree on.

I think you might have misread my post. My issue is with people buying tons of one coat and selling for a massive profit, not people going for one or two of each to add to their collection.

I would advocate for one copy per 100 per player too.

I can't see any real collector being against this, but yes the profiteering is profitable to the game I'm sure...although to an extent I I guess it depends where the passes originally come from perhaps default smiley :-x

I'll have to be quicker next release for some Retired coats now that i have vip!
I have 3 foundies i would love to have Retired coats on u-u

Does anyone know exactly when they are normally dropped for VIP so i can have a mental time for next month!

It's 12 hours before the time stated on the creation space page. The Creation Space page lists the time for regular release in your time zone

Ranking has always been a second priority to me getting all the beautiful coasts has always been more important, result of my hoarding tendencies.

Got to get them all, though I doubt it will ever happen with all the old RC´sdefault smiley (8)

The pre-release is supposed to be 1 copy a limited coat.. But it is painfully obvious (thanks to other who mention it) that that is NOT the case. Hence why I gave up on the perk - if buffalo bagels is what Owlient want,. they can have it.

What are you talkingabout??? VIP-Release everyone can only get 1 copy per coat/background and for limited coats only half of them are available in total. Normal release is where you can get as many copies of a coat as you want, given that there's still copies left and you have enough passes/GAs.

I think they may be confused with a couple coats going into Direct Sale. Someone is going threw some older limited coats that didn't get bought up from last couple months and flooding the sales with them after making them retired. That may be what is being referenced?

I think it's more the disbelief that the majority of us can barely get one copy of a 100 use coat over both releases but some players seem to be able to get many multiple copies of many multiple 100 use coats each release. That's some serious fast fingers and internet speeds
