This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

Can anyone give me advice? I have no idea how to get the <100 use coats. I had all the horses I wanted to use lined up in tabs with Harmony Packs, on the Golden Apple choice page. At 19:00 I waited for something to happen, and for 3 minutes the screen changed and said there were no coats that matched my criteria, even when I took away the criteria.

When I checked in the directory, etc., none of the coats from this release were there, even the unlimited ones. It was like they had been erased from the game.

When I could finally see them in the directory (at about 7:05), I went back to the horses, but by then all the 100 use coats were gone.

Is there a special page I need to have open? How do you all do this every month?

Normal release has a 5 minute change over period, coats won't appear until 5 minutes past the hour.

So the thing to do is wait until 5 minutes after, then refresh the page? Or will they show up without refreshing it?

And someone said earlier that the donkeys go quicker (right on the hour). I had the donkey page up first, so I'm confused.

That went... surprisingly well. I ended up getting 28 limited coats. I think the only 100c coats I'm missing include one horse coat, the draft coat, the sitting unicorn coat, and the white winged pony uni coat.

Overall not bad at all. Some of the 100c coats are still available right NOW which is strange to see.

The 100 copies usually go within 10-60 seconds based on how popular they are. What you should do is favorite them, then go to your favorites section with "limited edition" selected, then change to "chronology" or "popularity" based on which one you have selected currently as soon as it goes to 5 past the hour.

In this case the winged donkey was the hot ticket because it's the first of it's kind. Regular donkeys usually lag, and I can afford to have them towards the end. Not to mention, if you miss one of them, usually they are cheaper in sales. You have to refresh. So what I do is click back and for between popularity, and chronology. That makes it refresh. Gotta do that on every tab. Usually all 100 use coats are gone within a minute, sometimes much sooner.

Managed to grab several of the 100 use coats. Only grabbed one of each of them I could get. Been ages since I've managed to do this default smiley :o
Even managed to get a couple of 200 uses.
Sure looks like it pays off to set an alarm on the phone default smiley (7)

Missed the winged donkey though.

Is it just me or did we have a LOT of limited use coats this time around?

Based on my favorited Pre-CS coats that I remember as being GAs earlier, it looks like tchestnut, horselovermia, GuinnessThe2nd, LuckyHorseshoe, Intrinsic, Hattie1, and possibly cerona (?? Does anyone remember if their account was already deleted?) have just had their accounts deleted. I'm most sad about missing out on this coat:

Just didn't think to apply it to a horse until too late. Congratulations to everyone who was able to snag coats they wanted before retirement!

For anyone worried about missing out on a Pre-CS coat, I'd go through the directories and see when the last time your coat creator logged on. The last login for most of the above creators was November 28, 2018. I wouldn't be surprised if Loshadka and kailand get deleted too because of their last login date.

Looks like a large clear out of abandoned accounts. Number of registered players in the directories has gone down by approx 8,000.

I also have coats by pimoose, sun1day, darkmaya, , Twin Standardbreds, HeyBlondie and leopold that are retired as well. Some already had RCs, but the ones I looked at weren't the last I checked, so I'm assuming they are gone too. I'd check, but I'm on my phone and don't want to bother with the directories at the momentdefault smiley (lol)

Wow, unless it's a glitch of some sort I have over 400 horses showing as now retired. Some may be duplicated of course, but I haven't even gone through all my tabs yet

That's nuts, it was maybe a week ago when I thought I should get some Pre CS coats I liked, in case they retired. The few ones I've gotten so far didn't retire, but of course nearly all the ones I favorited havedefault smiley :'(

I have felt this coming for awhile, Wish I had the funds to get all of them before hand. Still had a decent group retire! I wish I had kept my farm of every pre-cs unicorn GA available default smiley xd Picked up some more from 2019 accounts just in case. Will always have a soft spot for the pre-cs

I feel mostly annoyed, i've been trying to find what made them retire so many coats.

Around 200 days ago, i contacted them asking what happens if a creator's account gets deleted and they told me that the coats will only have their creators renamed "Retired" rather than retiring them.
I took their advice and didn't by my fave pre cs coats while saving for black friday and yet here they are, suddenly retiring everything. I don't like how they go back on their word and give false information about their own rules.
