Alright, guys. I've saved up quite a few HOPs. I've decided, since I'm quitting soon, it was time to spend them. I have never won a divine, never owned a special, or wild horse (not even when I played on my old account, Coca-ColaCrazy). I thought this promo would be a good time to give it a shot. How wrong was I.
Here is the value of the past five HOPs that I opened. Keep in mind, people are paying 200k or MORE for a single HOP. Horn of Plenty number one: Golden Apple 3 000 Equus 10 turnips 3 caloric mash 3 aging points (The value of this one is a little hard to determine. If you sell the GA as an object, it'll get you about 65k with the way Howrse's economy is going. If you put this item on any ole' horse, it'll sell for around 33-36k. Not bad, not great. This HOP is worth 68,610e (if GA is sold as object), or about 36,610e-39,610e (if put on random horse and sold [skillers/unis/etc not included]) Horn of Plenty number two: Water of Youth 6 000 Equus 35 turnips 10 apples 3 aging points (Water of Youths in my opinion aren't worth more than 60k. some people pay more, some less. 67,205e. ) Horn of Plenty Three: Chronos' Timer 1 000 Equus 10 turnips 20 apples 2 aging points (The cheapest you can get a Ctimer for in exchanges is 150k, these prices get ridiculous though ( I mean, some Ctimers are in there for 300k...really?-__-). I know people who buy them often for about 80k. This HOP values at 81,510e) Horn of Plenty Four: 2 000 Equus 4 horseshoes FK 20 turnips 5 caloric mash 2 aging points (So, this is a real horn of waste... it's value comes out to be 3369e. Thanks, Howrse.) horn of plenty five: Fertility Wand 2 000 Equus 15 turnips 40 apples (30k is the cheapest in exchanges for an Fwand. I know some players that pay more, some that pay less. 32,455e) If you add up the value of everything I got in FIVE horns of plenty, it's barely more expensive then what some people will pay for one horn of plenty. There's so much i'd like to say, but I bet you can guess which player isn't happy at all. |

Also, the values are rough estimates. What I did was add up the selling price of the shop items, and then to that number, I added how much the BMI (if I got one) was worth... They're not set in stone numbers, so don't go crazy if i said a GA was worth 65k, but you know someone who buys them for 64k.

Opened 7 - so far I haven't received any junk BM items, a few duds with just the typical shop stuff, but satisfied that the 3 non-duds I've had were with GOOD stuff. Got another Bonus Pack, a Hera Pack, and the best one yet included Tears AND a Treasure Chest. Now I must restrain from opening that Treasure Chest until the next Treasure Chest promo which is hopefully soon, since I already have my Camargue from the cards. x\

I just opened 5, and the best item i got was a helios ray. everything else was just apples turnips etc. Gutted! I won all five i nthe cards promo,so at least they didn't cost me anything.
