Wow, Curly coat is probably the best improvement ever...
I do like QH type coat... they're still a bit awkward with anatomy - pencil neck and no place for stomach default smiley xd But overall, improvement is big.

I'm wondering about shetland coats x) If they'll keep them nice and fluffy or go on side of "american shetlands" which I personally detest default smiley xd

And tekes... my dear tekes... please make them AKHAL-TEKE like, default smiley xd

Hmm... I found this horse boarding in my ec, suppose it's a silver apple but it shouldn't still have the box around it, well for me anyway. Click here to see. I heard people say that some have boxes around after the new update but my silver apple horse is fine.

Hmmm I quite liked the old curly, the new one looks a bit like he's just really sweaty default smiley xd or is that just me?! Still don't really mind these coat changes, it'll be nice to have some new images default smiley :) default smiley (y) And I LOVE the lusitano coat, so pretty default smiley (7)

So are ALL the coats being updated/changed or just some of them? I've seen all the ones posted so far but i wasn't sure if the rumor was that all breeds will be updated or just some of them.

I've been wondering the same thing about the Shetlands. True Shetlands from Shetland Island and American Shetlands are completely different breeds in my opinion. The American Shetland has been crossed with so many other breeds to create an ideal sport pony for very young equestrians that it has lost most of its genuine Shetland character. The American Shetland does not have the roly poly, warm and fuzzy, plucky and hardy character that I love about the original breed. Don't get me wrong. I do appreciate the American Shetland for how it serves equestrian culture in North America, but there will always be a place in the world for the original Shetland, too. I sincerely hope that Howrse sticks with the original and maybe introduces the American Shetland as a completely separate breed in the future.

And regarding the Akhal-Tekes, I really hope they get that one right. Akhal-Tekes are among the most distinctive breeds in existence. I like the way they are represented now and hope that the new graphics are just as good or better.

As for the American stock horse breeds, I am slowly giving up hope that Howrse will ever get them right. I give them credit for trying, but perhaps the problem is that they really haven't seen a Quarter Horse, Paint, or Appaloosa in real life. We take them for granted because they are extremely common in North America, especially Quarter Horses, but they are relatively rare in France. So, it is incumbent upon the many talented artists among us who know and admire American stock horses to submit Golden Apple coats that get them right.
