Coats are not being removed. You will only lose a coat if you give a GA or RC horse a medusa's blood. If the horse already has it then one of two things will happen. 1: if the horse is a pegasus then it keeps its coat and its MB. 2: if the horse is *not* a pegasus but has a MB then it keeps its coats and loses the MB. That MB then goes into your inventory so you can use it on a different horse.

I don't like this removing of an M. Blood change, it's frustrating and seems pointless. However, if they do end up going through with it, I hope they put a warning on the page that any GA coat will be lost if you add an M. Blood to a horse with a GA already on it.

Erm...Dumb question (I'm all in a tizz trying to catch up about this new coat, MB thing etc) but what is RC? I'm thinking Rare Coat or something like that..? default smiley :$

Also...What are Hidalgos Splint Boots? I dunno if this is the place to ask this but since it pertains to current conversation....Would be helpful if someone could let me know, please?

I have played Howrse for 4 years, some new things I think are great and other things I hate and by the time you're just getting the hang of them Howrse swongs by and dumps a bunch of new stuff on you. It seems to me that Howrse can't stand anything old. It's almost like they sit around saying "Ooh! Ooh! what can we update next?!" (example, the new smilies. I prefered the old one of this-default smiley xd personally it kinda scares me right now with that HUGE mouth. It was better just grinning) They updated the horses before but now I see they want to update them again. I don't like the idea of doing so, no offense. But I also know I guess there's no way of stopping Howrse from updating them. -.-
I'll keep rolling with this game though, it's been a roller-coaster ride but this game is one of the best online Horse games I know of. I never want to quit playing but I've considered it with all the annoyance it's been giving me...

I could not agree more, Triss. It's quite a ride! Through the changes I adore and those I abhor and everything in between, I'm riding the ups and downs until this roller coaster breaks down. Wheee!

Owlient and Ubisoft will totally give up on Howrse before I do.

Yes but my 5th element winged unicorn turn back to unicorn and this is not soo fair!! And from trophy looking I also lost 5th element pegasus because since MB is removed its turn to simple 5th element horse which I already had! default smiley :(

The MB goes into your inventory so because it is a 5th element horse you can put the wings back on. It works, I tested it

Misaki already was, Nangchen will be the last one, as far as I remember from some info on previous pages.

Hello,
To resolve some consistency issues in the horse sales and the trophies, the priority rules for the customisation items have been reviewed.

Starting now the coat you’ll see in your horse will always fit his specie.
When you give your horse a special coat, if he is already wearing one, the new item erases the old one. (Image & bonus) For instance, if you want to give a Medusa’s Blood to a horse wearing a Golden Apple from the “horse” species, the Golden Apple will disappear from the horse at the moment he becomes a Pegasus.
For all the horses that are already in this situation, the Medusa’s Blood is removed from the horse and placed its owner’s inventory. If you are concerned, you have received a private message.
It isn’t possible any longer to combine the bonus from the special coats (Golden Apple, 5th Element, and Bewitched Pumpkin). Consequently, we have reviewed the bonuses given by special coats as follows, so that they remain interesting:
5th Element:
Earth: +8 in Dressage and + in all the other skills.
Air: +8 in Jumping and + in all the other skills.
Fire: +8 in Speed and + in all the other skills.
Water: +8 in Stamina and + in all the other skills.
Metal: +8 in all the skills.

Bewitched Pumpkin:
All the coats from the Bewitched Pumpkin receive a +5 bonus in all the skills. The bonus specific to the bat coat is combined with it.

The removal of the Pegasus wings from horses wearing coats that do not fit with their species is only applied to the Golden Apple and the Diamond Apple.
The other coats either have a coat available for each species (5th Element) or do not have any corresponding images and are left as they are.

It remains possible to put the Medusa’s Blood on horses with a Bewitched Pumpkin or Hidalgo’s Splint Boots as they do not have a Pegasus version of the coats.

Special cases:
When a horse equipped with a Harmony Pack loses its Golden Apple coat because a new special coat or a Medusa’s Blood has been applied to it, it must be possible to reuse the Golden Apple provided by the Harmony Pack for free on that horse. For instance, this is already the case for when a horse loses its Golden Apple coat when you remove the wings or horns during some events.

Removal of the wings on a Pegasus, removal of the horn on a unicorn.
- If the horse had a Golden Apple (retired or not) or a Diamond Apple: The item is deleted.
- If the horse had a 5th Element coat: the item remains but the coat changes to fit the specie of the horse.
- If the horse has another type of special coat: the item and the coat remain as there is no distinction of the specie on these items.
Normally this should already be the case.

WOW Uggy! I looked at my trophies on test version and lost 22 winged unis! how are we to make them? Is it because i put MB on a uni with GA? if thats the case i have lots of work to dodefault smiley :s not to mention all the time and work already spentdefault smiley (o)
