Guys am I the only person here who truly miss the "Release the horses" or whatever the name was?
I know it was wildly unpopular on the day, by having us get rid of so many horses AND divines. But that was what... I was to say 6 but probably more like 10-11 years ago? I had whole 3 divines back then and there was no "free" divines. I'd honestly pay to take part in that thing  Am I insane yet? x) |
What event was Isis released through? I actually remember playing the Treasure Hunt one, but in my mind I always lumped Isis in with that one as I was around a bit for both. Was she released during the old version of the Tiles event? Guys am I the only person here who truly miss the "Release the horses" or whatever the name was? The Treasure Hunt was a bit like I Spy, or those item seeking games. We had levels that each contained a background image (you can see them in the Ow's Ray. Look for the "Alexandrian" landscapes), and then we had a list of items to find within that image we had to click. I recall it being timed, and for awhile there were prizes for who finished a level the fastest, until cheating ran amok and that was done away with. I think Anubis was also released during an edition of this, because I tried really hard for him I'm not sure if it was officially stated, or maybe just feedback on the overall event, but the critique was that it was hard if one struggled with visibility issues, whether personally or due to the device monitor. Some of the items to click were terribly tiny, and they were hidden amongst an explosion of other objects Oh! I think I vaguely remember that now!

It was a week-long special event in addition to the main one, Hydruntine was released for it.  And yes, I do remember a lot of players were not sold on the idea  it was optional, and I don't think any Divines were required to get rid of, but there were some rather costly requirements. I wouldn't mind seeing it again though, and if they did bring it back with a Divine request, well, all I can say is my Tarpan longs to be free...

! It was a week-long special event in addition to the main one, Hydruntine was released for it. Hydruntine was released in the Hike event for Howrse's participation in the Green Jam. For "Release the horses" we were given a Polish Konik Wild Horse

Ascent News Click to display Due to player Feedback, the planned change that would slightly randomize the requirements for the Ascent rooms has been ROLLED BACk. It has been scrapped and sent to the drawing board. Official Message about it: "We have decided to cancel the change bringing in random variation in Ascent of Olympus challenges. The addition of a +12 bonus is also canceled. Our initial goal was to bring more diversity and variability to the experience without ramping up the difficulty too much. However, after seeing the impact of this change and reading your feedback, we decided that it did not meet our expectations and brought frustration among players. As a consequence, we have decided to roll back on this change. We are still looking for ways to freshen up and enhance the experience in the Ascent of Olympus."

and I don't think any Divines were required to get rid There was one requirement that you needed to get rid of a divine. Lucky I had two of one so gave up the duplicate. But I liked that event and think it could wok today with a few adjustments.

Ahhh we did have it, true!
I completely forgot about it for a moment. But truly the first one was mad and I loved it. This one seemed way more weighed out and careful in amounts of horses that were asked for (good thing!) I would guess Click to display A parakeet pet horse, with the look of the tail and face. I thought it was the Parrot chimera but it isn't. The tail does look very similar to the Parrot, though. It could easily be a chimera or something from mythology though.

What exactly is a Yggy promo? TIA It's a promo where a horse of any age can be sent to Heaven to age Yggdrasil, instead of the usual over-25 requirement. They do it every once in a while to clear server space, since people can get rid of unwanted horses and also get something in exchange.

I doubt they even have Hermes created yet, if they do I imagine its just a rough sketch and nothing more

They stated they are 2 years ahead with the planned promos and Divines, so they have all of the Pantheon ready. However, I do agree with the rest of your assumption and say Click to display That t'is more likely to be a Parakeet Pet horse. Hermes doesn't match the model at all.

Weekend Offers: Click to display This is the fullest I've seen in a while I'm gonna take a guess and say Click to display Bee- passes/pass promo like the manga unis Wild- reserves/HoP Taurus- reserves/HoP Hana- Fleece chimera- TC This is my guess, it could 100% be wrong but since chimeras are typically offered in TCs (I've only ever seen wilds in reserves) I assume they will be in there, the zodiacs and wilds are pretty commonly found in the reserves so I marked both down as possibly being there. The Japanese have always been in fleeces from what I remember This is gonna be a cheap weekend for me as I already have taurus and hanafuda. I dont need bees either. I'm hoping one of the 2 wilds/chimeras will be a "pick your own" kinda deal, I might snag a few that way. I personally don't believe any of these divines will be in a pack as normally the ones offered in packs are brand new divines like Hippolyte and the bunny pet were a while back (its possible though so I wont knock that idea yet). I dont recall there being pets offered for passes in a while though. But haven't they released the bee earlier this year already??

has always been in hops though... Doesn't mean they could never be for passes. I'm not saying it 100% will be in the BM for passes but that's where I'm thinking it'll be since there's so many offers this weekend. There's 4 separate divines, and 3 separate luck items, plus the other offer. There's absolutely no possible way that all of them can be in the luck items. 1 divine will have to be in reserves, 1 in the fleece, 1 in the TC and 1 in the HoPs, unless they plan on putting 2 of a different species of divines in reserves then I doubt that the Click to display bee I'm stating that in the past during promos that they have been offered before in the BM for passes instead of in the HoPs (I know not this specific one, but others have been.) And if I remember right there was one point in time where you could buy from a plethora of them at one point (I think it was luck based but I cant really remember) And the chances of one of these divines being in a pack is pretty slim as normally pack divines are new divines and not returning ones. Click to display There's really only so many places these divines and the bee pet can be. I do firmly believe it'll either be the wild or Taurus that'll be in reserves, and I do believe that the chimera will be in the TC and hana in the fleece as that's where they've always been. But if the wild/taurus is in reserves where exactly would the other be? I've never seen or heard of them putting 2 different species in reserves at one time, so I really don't think that'll happen. Which is why I believe that Taurus will be in HoPs. The bee has been offered previously before in HoPs, in fact it was recent if I remember, so why put it back in HoPs? That's why I'm thinking it'll either be offered for passes or as a pass promo. And there's the chance that I 100% could be wrong. Wouldn't really matter much to me as I'm not interested in buying it

Huh, would have thought the Chimera would be in either GF or TC, then the Zodiac in reserves with the Wild.

I was interested in the wild and chimera as I don't have them yet, but I'm not buying them at a loss. The most you can get out of them is 750, maybe 760, without clouds, meaning you would lose 140-150 passes buying them through reserves. I wish they were priced more fairly.
