[FT] Spoiler Zone!
Hey guys, Friendly Family Nalu here.
Tomorrow's the first day of the Very Special Event and I thought I'd use the top of the Page to make my post more visible. I cannot quote myself, so I'm counting on other players to bump this post up if it gets submerged. Thank you so much in advance. What you must Have to properly do this event: Click to display - 10 Boxes with SHOWERS and TROUGHS. This is very important. - 10 - 15 horses to Donate to Ow. These horses will be lost forever, so get some cheap ones. - Carrots. A LOT. Remember that the Objectives are Not Retroactive. You will need to Unlock the Wanderer before getting points for him, and not before. Here included is my Pace Checker for the event. NOTE! This is *my* strategy. It's what I will be following, for a plan that will get me to the end with just the free items we get daily and with 0 need to purchase anything. It is studied to use only the free ones. IF you have a different strategy, or a better one? That's great! This is what *I* have come up with. I am sharing it with you due to popular demand, it has served me well so far and I swear by it. Pace Checker for Day 1, in case you wanted to take a small peek or the Event Thread takes a bit to come up. !! Pace Checker Click to display - Get Conductor. You will be then dragged through the Tutorial. Do all of it. You must do this first to play. - Board Conductor in a box with SHOWER and TROUGH (Important!) - Put Tack on your Conductor. IMPORTANT, use your tack, not the ECs. No bonnet or wraps are necessary, just do the essentials. - Train Conductor in Dressage (2h dressage, feed appropriate food + as many oats needed to get to 100% energy, 10 hours dressage, DRINK, carrot, 30 minutes dressage, BED). Dressage training done: 25% You can skip the carrot and use a Stroke if you'd rather do that, but you'll need to give a lot of carrots once the quest starts, so might as well get into the habit. Number of Wandeing Aging Points: 3 (6 if the Tutorial works the same). Again, please be mindful of other people's ECs. This event is forgiving and not Time Sensitive, so with a little bit of luck you'll be just fine. !! For those of you who want to follow the Pace Checker every day, HERE I compiled for you a search engine with my Username and the term 'Pace', so all of the pace checkers should come up day by day. Take care and Good Luck in the event.

Thanks Nalu!
I know I can speak for a lot of other players when I say we really appreciate your pace checkers and hints and heads-ups and in general your all-around helpfulness. I for one depend on your event guides and would be lost without you. You're the MVP for sure.

Thanks Nalu! You're welcome. I'm doing them for myself so sharing them out costs me nothing. I'm glad I could be of help

Click to display Free promo for me, the divine doesn't interest for me, making two in a row. Will be putting the passes towards ascent instead. That said, I am happy with the companion change.

Next event:

Also a new function:
Click to display You can now add comapnions directly on your horses page!

Click to display Lol, is Sparks just recycled Little Tom Thumb art? Like, they're very similar in terms of pose... A little disappointing. I don't much care for her prize either. :/ Would anyone with Preprod be willing to post her without the background? Just to get a better look at the art.

@ wynter12 , from the previous page:
Click to display Sparks is a Fire horse. She'll give you a Hera's Lily. Her bar requires 100 points, which makes me suspect a 25 days drop rate. !! Testing.

Oh! I totally didn't even notice that there were posts on the previous page. Thanks for letting me know @sirionmaster4

It counts, I say it out of concern for the EC owners.

Gentlest reminder to NOT validate your Objectives until the event has started, especially if you're going after the Divine.
Take care and good luck with the Event

Click to display ZALDIA, Momotaro and Pendragon Click to display My main goal is getting Zaldia but if I have anything to spare I'll try for the others. I have 1 TC in inventory so I'm hoping it'll be the dragon in TC. I'm hoping Zaldia wont be as expensive as Altair was for me, since her perk isn't as amazing as his. I really gotta be on top of getting HOPs right now. The employees and diplomas will be coming out in April I believe? I'll need to get at least 3 months worth of diplomas rip
|
You are correct. Late April at worst if it all goes according to plan
|
Click to display What's Zaldia's drop rate for those 10 passes?
|
super random.
Mine might drop a week in a row and then I hear nothing from her for weeeeeeks.
|
Hmm... I'll have to think about her then. Guess it'll probably depend on how pricey she is. Thank you, Nalu!

It counts, I say it out of concern for the EC owners. If you're an EC owner and don't want your tack to be used then you should reserve your boxes to yourself for this event. Personally I do believe its fair game if the EC is open to all. They know people will be using their tack, that's one of the reasons they offer tack (aside of increasing prestige) If you have a public EC and allow others to board in your EC then the items you offer are fair game to everyone. If they want to keep their ec public but don't want wanderer horses entered into it then they could also simply increase the skills needed to board. That's a huge reason I keep my EC private. I don't want people to use my tack because I don't have the funds to replace it 24/7 if its being used often. I don't even use my 3* tack! Its there to keep my prestige and nothing more. Does this mean I'll be searching for EC's that specifically offer tack? No, because I don't really mind using my cheap tack on my horses. But keep in mind some players, especially new ones, can't afford their own tack so they rely on EC's that offer them to their boarders. It's completely ok to use an EC's tack if they offer it, if they didn't want it used by low skilled horses they'd increase the skill limit or they'd make their EC private for a while.

I don't mind my tack being used, that's why I offer it. People will board for at least 10 days I guess so I make money out of it too (I try 30 days myself if it is not too expensive, because that means I don't have any concern about that for the rest of the event and don't have to waste time on boardings). If losing tack on this is too expensive you could also (temporarily) increase the price of the stay in your EC. Although I must say to cover any cost the fee will have to be so high that no one will board. The EC is not my primary source of income. I keep the price very low to make it possible for anyone to board a horse. What I did not realise is that I have my minimum skills too high for Wanderers. But my EC is always 100% occupied (NOT with horses of my own by the way) so I guess I should not worry about it
