Fingers crossed it will give something decent at the very least. Click to display He doesn't... it's very dissapointing, he gives the Arthur Conan Doyle's Inkwell, and well it basically has the same effect as the Alexandre Dumas' Inkwell ):

Are Zebras in the Black Friday sales? Also, what do the collectible cards do? Thanks, Rose

Are Zebras in the Black Friday sales? Also, what do the collectible cards do? Thanks, Rose The Collectible Cards in the Black Market let you complete your Cards Collections, which are all cards from past events. They don't offer prizes, but since Collections do count for general ranking score, we were given the option to purchase cards, if we didn't get them during the events

@RoseWilder
We don't know. There is a different selection of special horses each year. I don't see a reason they would be excluded from BF, but whether we will see them this year is anyone guess. Nothing. There are just for collectors who want full sets. You gain nothing.

Click to display Apparently Black Friday is being tested on Preprod? I saw a couple screen shots of it, but don't have access myself. Click to display He doesn't... it's very dissapointing, he gives the Arthur Conan Doyle's Inkwell, and well it basically has the same effect as the Alexandre Dumas' Inkwell ): Well... that's even more disappointing. I don't even want this divine now.

^^Yes
Click to display we are testing Black Friday sales this year. It's a whole new format. I'm not on my PC, otherwise I l'd take screenshots, but in summary, we do have the usual auctions for equus and direct sales for passes. Some key differences" -a schedule! We can see of schedule of the divines and when they'll go through the sale. This also applies to resrved sales -reserved sales! A first for Black Friday. Divines will be offered for limited times during the weeked, and the durationa for each are posted. -a "loyalty" meter for earning fragments towards Metal divine horee Gold, who was released in Packs last year. You get points for passes and for equus spent in the different Black Friday sales. We still do not know the exact divines for this year because the divines and amounts offered will change when it goes live

Click to display The Sherlock Divine design is actually very cute, even if we've already seen it spoiled in promo art a few times. I tend to like the donkey Divine appearances. Pity he doesn't give something more exciting though.

Next Event:
Click to display Manor Exploration: Sherlock Holmes Addendums to the New Event: - It is no longer needed to retrace your steps completely once you're finished with the event. A map will be provided to you, which will allow you to jump from door to door to simply collect the prizes you missed. - It is slightly easier to see how much energy is needed for a door. New Divine: Click to display Jackpot and Prizes: Click to display Mycroft Holmes coat has the Same bonus as all the other Sherlock Holmes coats (+7). Another Event: Click to display The Advent Calendar! We still don't know which Divines are in the event, but we'll update as we find out. Most notable, a Fox companion is hidden in the windows. That famous Special Friday: Click to display

Click to display I'm really excited to see reserved sales for Black friday!!! Very curious to know if they will offer different divines once the sales go live. I'm really hoping for some Egyptians to show, though it's unlikely since they are so valuable. I also like scheduele, so you can set an alarm for the divines you want. It'll be interesting to see how much you need to spend to get Gold too XD Fingers crossed, we wont see any fragments in the direct sales.
|
^^Based on current calculations
Click to display you'll need to spend about 50,000 passes in the sales to earn enough points for Gold. If equus, or a combination thereof, well, you'd need a lot of equus too There's a feedback post about the cost, because 50k passes is absurd

Anyone have an estimate of the cheapest BF horse's price?

Click to display Since the series is about to be completed, getting this opinion on Sherlock Holmes divines out there - I believe everyone is hugely underestimating them. Yes, these horses do not drop premium BMs - and their main prize drop rate is like 2-2.5 months - but, unlike Fairytales, for example, they give loads of other stuff on a regular basis. I've been keeping track of my Watson since April and he's brought me half the store so far: apples, mash, carrots, APs, tons of materials and 2** coloured tack plus reasonable amount of equus as a gift AND from comping. Assuming everyone from this series drops similarly, these guys are super friendly and helpful for beginners! And I believe they are meant to be exactly that, reliable extra source of all the consumables everyone is in need of during their start (as well as later in the game), while avoiding the underwhelming wait to claim your prize, as it is with pretty much _every_ other divine there is.

You are absolutely right to defend the 'other' prizes, as this is indeed a very profitable Series if we compare it to others, who don't have smaller rewards every day. HOWEVER, if we compare it to the other Series with the same power, the Japanese horses, the series cannot come out as the winner. Of the whole Japanese series, 17 of them, only Shodo and Bonsai can be considered "weak-prized", and both of them were in low-cost events (card events, where you can use eques to get cards and thus no passes spent), while all of the Sherlock Divines were full priced at 3000 passes each. To be fair, Sherlock Divines give Western Tack (the rarest beast of them all, for it is only 4 Divines that drop it in the whole entire game, with over 270 Divines and counting), but they still have a higher price tag than Japanese horses. To justify such a price tag, better compensation should be given. So, while I do agree that the series is decent, we have a trend of lowering and lowering standards. And fortunately... they stopped offering Pet horses in events
|
@Nalu93,
Yes, I agree, you make a good point on price vs outcome balance here. Perhaps, I am a little bit biased as a passionate Sherlockian /that issue though with Sherlock, sharp, lanky, 6 feet tall man as a cute little donkey... yeah. Not the best of times./
|
Click to display That prize list for the Sherlock event looks nice. Too bad I won't be getting any of the other prizes except for the frags... For an underwhelming divine... Who gives an even more underwhelming prize... But who's bitter? Not me!
|
Personally, I also consider effort in a divine's price tag
Click to display The Sherlock horses have me scared off because I don't need more divines that require extra clicks I'm not sure whether the game team genuinely thinks some of the divine's actions are fun (fair enough, but I have too many horses to work, plus events to play to provide me with fun), or if they're implemented as a way to help curb too many items coming in (i.e. people may not always work them if they are work. Again, fair enough), but I do think the price should reflect the effort involved. And the prize. And I don't like the horses in clothes
|
Click to display My problem with the Sherlock horses is that, outside of the first divine in the series, they've all had pretty poor prizes, yet carry the same price tag as the divine that gives a good prize. I'd be willing to excuse it if the divines were priced to reflect their perk, but that isn't the case. The small prizes you get also do not make up for a poor main prize. While I do appreciate the fact that the developers are trying to give us a wider selection of prizes and a way to get them, they should be priced based on what they offer. And as much as I like the previous coat art and not having to worry about my horses energy and the time they go to bed, those two divines should not have been priced at the same price as Dr. Watson, who offers a Morpheus' arm.

Hooray, weekend offers

Click to display Oooo! I have frags on Lips from last time. I wonder if they'll keep him in HoPs then.

Click to display He's probably going to be in fleeces or challenges due to his main prize, or have a ridiculous fragment rate in the horns.

Click to display Oh my goodness... just saw the BF thing and they're giving it such a huge upgrade?? That's amazing! I wish I actually saved for this then. I'm over here spending on GA coats instead lol. I hope they have it like that next year though. I'll be more prepared if it's going to be like that going forward. My internet isn't as fast so I gave up on most of the BF sales. I generally end up with divines/fragments I don't mean to get Yes, thank you Legacy Ann for giving them feedback! 50,000P is absurd!! I'm not even sure you would be able to spend that much given that it looks like we're still limited to one purchase every x hours (probably 12 still). How would you even get to 50,000P in 3 days? Still really excited about this change though Maybe I can scrounge up some additional passes before it starts. Noticed they had "discounts" on some of those. I wonder if that's if they've been sitting too long in the direct and so they "discount" them and keep doing so until it's gone or hit a max discount? Or if that's just the discounted price vs paying it outright assuming you had to fill a bar? Does anyone know if they'll make reserved both passes and equus? Or are equus divines still only Auctions?

Going to be a cheap weekend for me as don't need any of the offers and don't have enough extra fragments for it to be worth to try for them!!!
