Click to display Hello Adalena, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your concerns. I'll make sure the feedback reaches our developers. We will clarify many of your concerns in the upcoming weeks. However, I can't promise what happens next is exactly what you'd wish for. In any case, please rest assured we do care about your thoughts. Thank you for your understanding, have a pleasant day. Kind regards, Ow Kind regards, The Howrse Team Did you read the official post by RobOw? It's been also posted here via screenshot. Also, about the event (I'm on top of the page, olè) Should I go for the Christmas one just because he’s free though? (200p for free…) The main event is almost guaranteed to be free (unless they changed something. They shouldn't have though, so he's free). Click to display However, if you don't like him or have no need for him, you can also ignore him as soon as you have the last upgrade and use the remaining time in the other laboratories. We couldn't test ANY of those though, so I cannot guarantee you a free Divine in there. Click to display As far as the portal divines go, do we collect fragments as we go or just build up to getting the whole divine? I'm halfway to Galahad so if I could get Silver and then work on some Galahad fragments that would be nice. I would spend a reasonable amount of passes if I thought I could get him but I doubt I could complete two portals. Click to display Fragments are scattered throughout the 25 rooms (with the last room having 300) so if you only need 500 you can collect those and then move on to another Divine. You can get no more than 1000 anyway. Getting a Xmas Pack each year is such an ordeal for me. I probably already asked, but have you considered a Paysafecard?

nooo i just realised it'll be 2am here when the new event starts, I thought it would be 2 hours after update like most events lately how far behind will I be if I don't get online until 8am? Can I still get the divine for free if I'm starting 6 hours late?
@Nalu Yes, I have seen it (and thank you for pointing it out in case I hadn't), but I said I would post the answer to the question. Silly as it may seem given the answer, I wanted to hold to that.
Events almost always start 5/6 hours after the update, any that don't are the exception. It's weekend offers that start 1 or 2 hours after update.

@Nalu Yes, I have seen it (and thank you for pointing it out in case I hadn't), but I said I would post the answer to the question. Silly as it may seem given the answer, I wanted to hold to that. Oh no no, I just wanted to make sure. Can I still get the divine for free if I'm starting 6 hours late? Yes, or with minimal spending. We have a little bit more time for the Christmas event so you should still be good for free or with MINIMAL spending (free is more likely). However, keep in mind that these kinds of events are VERY time sensitive and the more you skip at the beginning the more it cascades. Missing a move or two at the end is no big deal, when energy regenerates faster, but at the beginning it can be devastating.

Since I will be spending passes in this event, is it smarter to invest passes at the beginning to get upgrades faster, or does it work better to invest them later on?
Hey everyone!
Im trying to make sense of this event as it's going to be my first Christmas one I'm actually participating in. So from my understanding don't do my objectives or my advent calendar until the I do the tutorial? what is the tutorial? like I understand we have the little tutorials at the start of every event but they are usually like two pages of instructions is it different for this Christmas event? I hope this makes sense! any clarification would be amazing. I want to do well in this event lol

Since I will be spending passes in this event, is it smarter to invest passes at the beginning to get upgrades faster, or does it work better to invest them later on? I always suggest players wait at least for the second weekend to get the Promotional offer (double recharge = double moves = double love!), but it is a very long event so up to you. So from my understanding don't do my objectives or my advent calendar until the I do the tutorial? You are correct. what is the tutorial? like I understand we have the little tutorials at the start of every event but they are usually like two pages of instructions is it different for this Christmas event? No that's not the Tutorial, that's the event presentation. The tutorial is when Emma shows up and tells you "Oh let's move a bit, let's check the prizes, did you see this part?" that's the Tutorial. When the event start, open the event and start playing following the little arrows. The Tutorial is a bit railroady (it will force you through a couple of hoops and you just have to follow the instructions), but once Emma is gone you'll be free to move as you please.

NO objectives and NO Advent Calendar until the event has started, Meeki! *pacing the room repeating this mantra*
Bit of bad luck that one of my objectives today is to enter 20 competitions. So I practically can do NOTHING until 2 PM. (The other one is to cover a unicorn.) Sitting on my hands here!! What time is it again?

Bumping Nalu's guide from page 2837 to the new page!
Hey guys, Friendly Family Nalu here. I'm taking advantage of this being the top of the page to give you a couple more Tips about the event that is starting soon, so that we all try our best to get at least a Divine this coming Christmas season. What you should do as SOON as it starts: Click to display The event is Time Sensitive, so you might want to make sure you'll be here at the start to complete your Tutorial as fast as possible. The Tutorial will take you through a couple of passages, will force you to Upgrade Bushy the first time and then after a while it'll let you go. THAT is the moment in which you go back to the Advent Calendar and open ALL the Windows you have left behind. If you're lucky, you'll find a candy cane or two. If you don't, don't panic, you'll find them in the remaining 15 windows. Now, let's talk Upgrades. This is what I would recommend you upgrade, but keep in mind that you might want to tailor the experience to your own time availability. Click to display - First upgrade: TUTORIAL, Energy capacity - Regeneration Time Improvement - Regeneration Time Improvement - Repair Power Improvement - Energy capacity - Repair Power Improvement - Regeneration Time Improvement - Repair Power Improvement - Energy capacity As I said, this was my personal experience, but you might want to change it to your tastes. For example, if you are not online a lot you might invest in the Energy capacity a bit earlier and so on. I have not invested in Regeneration Time III immediately because the candy sink was not comparable to the reward we obtain. Regeneration time has a very diminishing return on investment (the last two upgrades are 1h30 and 1h respectively), so while significant, I still got more benefits upgrading the repair power by room 60, where T-Rexes (4 lives, 6 repair power needed) were getting more and more frequent. General Tips: Click to display - ALWAYS go for the candy. If you see a Candy in the room you're in, always go for it. You can come back and get prizes later, but missing an upgrade will be a serious detriment to you. If you see a Candy, give up everything and get the Candy. - The Candies are COUNTED, and they also include the ones you get from the Advent calendar. Do not skip your advent calendar. - ALWAYS check the top of the door you want to go through. Every door has a Repair power needed (at the bottom) but most importantly, an Energy Per Repair value at the top. Sometimes the door with more repair power is NOT the door that will take up more energy. - You can get Glaedelig Jul for FREE. It is entirely possible to get the Christmas horse for free. - You can enter and leave any Lab at will, and your progress will be saved. This is very important if you don't want to miss out on upgrades, but you'd rather go for another Divine instead of Glaedelig Jul. Again, while sabotaging myself quite spectacularly, I still got to more than half in half the time we have, so I am sure you all will do great and take home the Divine you want. Take care and love you all

I... I mean... just don't validate it? But will I still get the fragments then? I'm afraid not!
But will I still get the fragments then? You know, I didn't test that. Huh. Something to test for next event, don't test it out
don't test it out Don't worry, I won't
@Nalu
@Meeki I'll test it and let you know.
@Nalu @Meeki I'll test it and let you know. Thank you. You are braver than my cat, and he tried to swim without knowing how to!
Oh, that mental image!
I probably already asked, but have you considered a Paysafecard? I don't even know what that is. I'll have to do some research.
I don't even know what that is. It's a prepaid system. You buy it at mobile or pharmacy stores, pay cash to get it in various cuts (I think it can go up to 100€ but you can combine more PIN cards to make a higher payment), load the PIN into the paysafecard site and spend it as you wish in conventioned retailers. I used that when my credit card didn't go through and worked perfectly for Owlient.
It's a prepaid system. Is it here in the U.S.?
@Nalu @Meeki I'll test it and let you know. Ooooh exiting. You're the bravest indeed!
I probably already asked, but have you considered a Paysafecard? That's a good advice. In addition: Paypal also works fine. You'll have to make an account there, and then you can put money from your bank account on your Paypal account and use Paypal to pay Howrse.
Is it here in the U.S.? I checked and it is.
In addition: Paypal also works fine. You'll have to make an account there, and then you can put money from your bank account on your Paypal account and use Paypal to pay Howrse. Wanted to add to this that PayPal has had controversies in the past where they'll suddenly lock your account and freeze the balance on it. After months (sometimes years) of struggles you MAY eventually get back an amount of what was originally on it. (They usually take a portion of it for themselves, citing administrative costs...) So if you really want to use PayPal, I recommend never keeping a balance on there for longer than an hour at most.
Paypal also works fine. You'll have to make an account there, and then you can put money from your bank account on your Paypal account and use Paypal to pay Howrse. Oh, maybe I did it that way last year. I think my daughter set it up for me. Hope I saved whatever password or whatever that I might need. I was older when I started playing this game and now I'm just plain old.
