Does anyone know if the Reindeer will be making an appearance again this year? I'm missing Dasher, Dancer and Vixen I'd like to have some of them too!

I'm too new on this game to see why this is obvious. Can you explain? So far I don't see any real method in divines and the luck items they are in The valuable divines like Jade, Balios and Croesus are most likely only going to be offered on a high level of the TCs. They do get placed in the Fleece on some occasions (Croesus was in the Fleece in August, and Jade was in the Fleeces in 2016. That was prior to fragments, so I'm not sure if that's even relevant now). Up until recently, the pattern I always followed was to look at what item the rest of that divine's set was offered in that cycle. Divines of the same set were almost always in the same item. That pattern still sometimes holds true (looks to the Wind divines that have mostly been in HoPs, Wilds in Reserved Sales), but not as often as it used to. The event divines have thrown many hitches in the pattern. Can't have a weekend Gemstone in the TC if it's already occupied by an event divine, so it's thrown into Fleeces instead. There could have been an entirely different reason that choice was made though. The most recent cycle of the Solars and Gemstones had them both split between TCs and Fleeces. They're not as predictable as they used to be.

RE Preprod: Click to display The Divines are: - Slongvir - Lancelot - Yuki - Drakorn - Jormungardr The card prices are also EXPENSIVE, but extremely so. 6 Diamond cards for Jormy? That's absurd. I am bitterly disappointed. Click to display Yikes, well at least I can say I'm glad I have all those Divines. Not very impressed.

You'd have to be on the game for way more years than I have to know all this (like you have ). I remember having Thor (and Loki at the same time but I only had the money for one) in a reserved sale a couple of months ago, for 1200 passes if I recall correctly. That must have been an exception then, as they are no wilds. I really hope Sapphire will come back some day soon. I have 745 fragments of him and then just missed him, aaahhh it still hurts I'd prefer Fleeces but I think he was in TC's...

I really hope Sapphire will come back some day soon. I have 745 fragments of him and then just missed him, aaahhh it still hurts I'd prefer Fleeces but I think he was in TC's... According to Howrse's Twitter, Sapphire was in Fleeces back in July (a surprise, as I expected a TC offer), so it's unlikely he'll be offered for awhile. Which brings up the issue of frequency of appearance. Most often Howrse will cycle through the entire set before offering it again. And then it's unknown when the set will next cycle through. I think the Chinese or Rainbows or something recently cycled through twice within 1-2 years. But it once took the Solars 3 years between two of their appearances. Divines within a set also used to appear more regularly. For awhile one of the Egyptians appeared every 1-2 months, but it's been...August, maybe? since we've last seen an Egyptian.

Was there a Black Friday sale on VIP last year..? Kinda holding out for that lol

Was there a Black Friday sale on VIP last year..? Kinda holding out for that lol It might've been the night before. Thanksgiving night. But I am not sure. This year is going to be stressful... |
Was there a Black Friday sale on VIP last year..? Kinda holding out for that lol Sorry I totally misundersttod your question. Legacy Ann already answered but yes, some people did. |
Was there a Black Friday sale on VIP last year..? Kinda holding out for that lol They haven't had one in TWO years. No Black Friday nor March Spring deals.

Was there a Black Friday sale on VIP last year..? Kinda holding out for that lol They haven't had one in TWO years. No Black Friday nor March Spring deals. Yes I got it last year. A discount on one month of VIP. I could swear I got it the year before as well. Must be as Legacy said, only some players got the offer for some reason.

Must be as Legacy said, only some players got the offer for some reason. Oh that's absolutely possible, I haven't seen one in ages, of course

You're right, it was the Fleeces, I remembered later but my message was already sent Well... wait and see then, and dream of Sapphire every now and then Lovely Blue came by recently and so did Mercury, so maybe more Rainbows or Solars could be expected, you mean?
|
Lovely Blue came by recently and so did Mercury, so maybe more Rainbows or Solars could be expected, you mean? Lovely Blue was the first rainbow to be in luck items for over a year so its likely that they are starting a new cycle and we'll see one in luck items every 1-2 months.

I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled then.

i don't know if i've missed something but
Click to display i don't see any mention of the reindeers i'm hoping everyone will get a random one as a christmas present or something? it would be a shame if we don't have any chance to get one.

Mercury was a strange one because the solars had only just finished their rotation, and it appears that he's signalling the start of a fresh cycle with all of the others left to come even though it was three years between the last rotation and the one before. Lovely Blue was the first rainbow to be in luck items for over a year so its likely that they are starting a new cycle and we'll see one in luck items every 1-2 months. I wouldn't mind

I think the rule of thumb is that wishing for a divine's return means it will take its sweet time getting here
Ignore it, and it will come Happens to me all the time

Click to display I know I'm going against the majority opinion, and I hope the game won't take revenge on me for this on the live server, but in my opinion, the price is not so excessive. Of course we would have expected slightly more attractive prices at the Christmas event, and I am aware that the event incorporates a key element of luck. Yet, when I bought 10 sets of cards (950 passes) I had enough diamond and gold cards to buy Lancelot or Slongvir. For Slongvir I was missing 3 silver cards and for Lancelot 8 bronze cards in addition to them. Those will be available for free during the event. 950 passes seems to me like a pretty good price for divine like Lancelot. |
Click to display For those who are wondered about the Jokers |

Click to display The problem with the cards is that they rely heavily on luck... you could spend 5k passes and get zero diamond cards. For a lot of players the divines will indeed become very expensive

Click to display The problem with the cards is that they rely heavily on luck... you could spend 5k passes and get zero diamond cards. For a lot of players the divines will indeed become very expensive Click to display I understand that, but such a case seems very rare. I have opened 50 packs so far (4750 passes), and I had enough cards to buy Lancelot, Slongvir, and Juri. |
Click to display I understand that, but such a case seems very rare. I have opened 50 packs so far (4750 passes), and I had enough cards to buy Lancelot, Slongvir, and Juri. Click to display But what happens if you don't have luck? Also, all those cards were PRIZES, so you're effectively giving up a ton of prizes to complete puzzles for a Divine. How is that fair to give up 12 gold cards, which would be 13 Harmony Packs, for a single Divine, and along those, you'll have to give up 5 diamonds (5 potential Frohe), 50 bronze and 30 silver... How is that a fair compromise?
