It is promo where you enter your horse into competition like steeplechase, jumping and hunter. There are levels so you can't enter your horse into a low level comp when your horse has superior skills. There are 5 entry spots and once the 5th horse is entered it runs. You get points based on where you place.

You get prizes as your points go up and the end divine requires a certain amount of points.

Do I understand it right? It gives us a Pass seeds? Or what?

That was the part I was unsure of and why I put the original posting up besides my rough translation.

I know the French word steps refers to passes but needed a second opinion.

Guess that we have to wait for someone who knows French then ;p

Thank you for the answer. In the past, was there a certain number of competitions you could enter per day? Did you have to pay with passes to enter more competitions?

80 x 25 = 2000 so he would need 2000 skill points in total to have enough for planting 1 pass in your meadow. That seems about right as the nicer gifts so far have needed 2000 skills (Kaktos,Carnivorus, Fern). The big downside here is it takes a long time to collect 25 seeds plus plant/harvest the pass. I would be interested in getting him, but I haven't played in the Derby before and I don't like the idea of having to compete against other players to earn the divine. Seems like players with high skilled horses will have a huge advantage, unless I'm misunderstanding?

My interpretation is that it's the return of the

Great Challenge?
They had this partial image here, which looks to be similar to the great challenge and they said there is a new page/display of the objectives

And from the summary one player gave to another that's what it sounds like:
(google translate, so could be errors)
"There are changes from the last editions. In place of the usual raffle, another game (a derby). The irons harvested by the community will serve this purpose.
"Each level reached will allow everyone to enjoy additional free races for the Derby (up to 4 per day)."

Unless I'm not reading all that correctly?

"The Derby" it appears will be after the GC, and how you do in the GC can supply you with free Derby (entry) tickets. I also see HoPs in the image above, so possibly the luck item offer will be HoPs this time around? *rubs hands gleefully*

This sounds like some promo we've had in the past, but I can't place my finger on the name of it. I have these partial images in my head too of the promo.

The World Championshipsdefault smiley :)

It wasn't my most favorite event as the mini-games made it tedious to get a few extra points for your horse, but I was pleasantly surprised at how far I got without using any passes. I came within the last 4 prizes of it both times we had it.

Hello, I noticed that there has been a lot of debate on this page about the next promo. I am on howrse US as well, and on there it says that the next promo will be the Trick or Treat from the Halloween but with all different theme. On howrse US, the players also say that there will be a new string of divines, the Maori, with the first one being Tangora. Hope this helps a little, although I'm pretty sure it just makes it more confusing
By Retired breeder, 10th June 2017 18:25:27
I could also bet the next promo will be the hawaiian-like one because on my version thete is a contest hold by Ow with the graphics from the event in it.

You are right on the next promo but the one after that will feature==

Some new info on the event after the next one
Click to display
This even will be after the Trick or Treat, Celebration rather, which will be next and introduces the Maori divines.
The event after the Celebration looks to be the Great Challenge, and instead of the Lottery we will have the Derby, which judging by this translation looks like those "roll the ball in to the hole" games you see at carnivals (Equideow hasn't begun testing this portion yet, so no pictures or anything)

Translated using google translate, so expect errors:

No change except in the previous edition. The explanations page has the same graphics as the cards. According
to a message from Yomi. June 7, 2017
The divine will be in the horns of plenty.
5 cornucopias = 6 (from 40 irons)
4 cornucopias = 5 (from 80 irons)
3 cornucopias = 4 (from 115 irons)
2 cornucopias = 3 (from 145 irons)
D ' After a message from Yomi. June 7, 2017

Message of the contest on the preprod:

The concept is the same as usual: during the challenge, players collect gold irons in achieving their goals. VIPs may already try to find the new divine horse (Caryopsis) in the horns of plenty during the Great Challenge phase, or wait for the Derby.
/! The Festivities will not be a lottery, but something new: the Derby (it will not replace the raffle definitively, they will alternate between the raffle and the derby so that we do not have too repetitive contests.)

Phase of the big

Challenge : Changes since the last time (they mainly concern the objectives):
- The layout of the objectives follows the modifications of layout of previous competitions
- A system of stars is added: the players win 1 star with each objective . The puzzle piece is given when the 3 stars are won.
- New bonuses to win (no more lottery tickets)

Derby Phase:

To refresh the Grand Challenge, we have created a new contest (the derby) for the festivities (it does not completely replace the lottery , Both will alternate in the future). The concept is based on the horse race "Roll a ball" that you can find in carnivals.

Concept: The Derby consists of horse racing where players must throw a ball to move their horse according to the value of the hole where the ball fell. At the end of a race, players get flags based on their result. They can then exchange their flags for gifts.

Participate in a race

Each day of the contest, Players can participate in the X races for free. X = 1 to 4 depending on the number of horseshoes collected by the community during the Big Challenge phase. (Note: if a player does not use his 4 free races, they disappear the next day. There is no accumulation).

Then they have to pay to participate in more races. The price starts at 50 Equus, it is multiplied by 4 for each new race (including automatic races), with a maximum of 300,000 Equus, it is reset to the daily update.

Players register for a race by clicking the "Start" button. Then they choose the horse they want to enter (from 4 colors) and they click again on the "Start" button.

Race in the race

There are 4 horses for a race: the horse chosen by the player and the other 3 horses, controlled by the game.

To move their horse, the player throw a ball (by clicking on a "throw" button) Will land in one of the 6 holes. The hole is chosen randomly with equal probability. The holes have values ranging from 3 to 6, which determines how many steps the horse advances.

Players must repeat the operation until their horse passes the finish line = has gone from 60 stages to total. There is no limit on the number of balls that can be used.

Players can also choose the "Automatic" racing option, They do not want to get through the process of throwing bullets. The result will be random.

Bonus item

There are bonuses in the Derby, called "Bonus". They can be used during the race, in order to get more chances to win the race. The use of these covers the holes with the lowest number to increase the chance of getting a good number. Players can use up to 5 Derby bonuses per launch to guarantee a 6th.

You will find Derby bonus elements: during the Grand Challenge phase (by helping other players), with victories in competitions (6 per win and max twice a day), thanks to friends (max 5 per day) ( See below), with some UFOs. Derby bonus items can not be purchased.

Friends: You can ask friends for 500 equus, up to 6 times a day and receive 1 bonus item.

End of a race

A race ends when the player's horse passes the finish line and the player wins small flags according to the ranking of the horse.

Gifts and flags

Once they have enough flags, players can exchange flags with gifts of their choice on the "gifts" page. There are several gifts (divine horseshoes) that have a different price in flags. The price triple when the player bought a gift.

This page will be open for 72 hours after the end of the contest to allow players enough time to use their flags.

Even the divine is available in gifts, it can be obtained by spending only equus. According
to a message from tamoce on 9 June 2017

My translation is using google translate, so expect errors , but it gives us more of an idea of what to expect. We'll find out more when our test server opens, which should be sometime this week.

About C_____ divine:

Click to display

My guess is it will give a pass seed,it fits the theme, and divines look.

I also wonder...if this divine will gain like..2 points per sprinkle. 80 points look waaay to low as goal...

Another question: is this divine a try to make up for the passhorse-changes that may/may not happen? default smiley (lol) To cool us down due to us loosing current system IF it goes poof?
I find this timing strange. Just saying.
