Any news on whether the new pass change is coming to the US server? I really hope it doesn't...

Pure logic tells me that ALL will get it -. really now, how could it be fair other wise?
I do not think the company plays favorites with servers,-- that would not be very smart on their part

You can say it in many forms, but insult will always stay as an insult,,

My translation is grumbler and I could say that to many that grumble here on this server. I would not be insulting them if indeed they ARE grumbling.

Every Christmas when the packs come out we grumble it is part of our nature.default smiley :-x

Sorry I just don't see the insult but the truth.default smiley ;)

Might be true, but it's not really helping their cause when the players say they aren't being treated right and an employee comes along and says something like that. I would have been booted by my manager at the restaurant I worked for treating a customer like that. You're always going to have complaints in some shape or form, but the way the business deals with them really shows their true colors.

Spyder,,

It's common in most languages, and as well is in czech,, We have few words, that meaning changes the way, you say them,,

In czech > reptat, reptání, reptal, reptalové > is commonly used while talking to kids, this word is rather of insult nature,, According to Czech dictionary

For example, you would never say to someone on public in polite way that he's "reptal".
Simply because it's rude.
To be it polite, you'd say he's "odpůrce" (objector) or "člověk podávají stížnost = stěžovatel" (complainer),,

Maybe regular players complain every year but at least we stick around default smiley (lol) Would it be better that they have no business at all? Seems that's the way it's going. default smiley :$
I was wondering if Ow is even the same on each server?
Of course no default smiley :) This is just a shared nickname for a high administrators on all servers. Besides mandatory requirement to be a native speaker in the country which server such administrator manages, such amount of work can't by physically done by a single person. I even doubt that there's one person per server behind this account. Would be unsurprising if a few persons manage it on bigger servers.

Please remember that rudeness and ranting is not permitted anywhere on Howrse. If you have a complaint, you can always take it to "contact us" but making unpleasant comparisons and name calling is not necessary.

By all means discuss upcoming changes here (that's what the topic is for) and by all means disagree but please keep it polite and reasonable. The old adage about pleasing some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time is very true.

Wow, really? And why, if you don't mind sharing, are all the other posts still up ?

Would you kindly explain what the overall definition of rudeness, ranting and complaints are?

I'm sure I am not alone in wanting to know default smiley (m)

Hehehe....me thinks that doesn't apply to the impending pass-howrse change at least with anyone who is a "Loyal Player" and has played for more than a year. default smiley (m)

@ Gуρѕу☯Mσση

My post was deleted too, but I'm not impressed about that... If minkthepink wouldn't be a moderator (as well as others) she would really say something about these changes. I don't believe that everything is perfect for her... default smiley (o) default smiley (8)

You made an awful comparison in that post. You're lucky all that happened was it got deleted. If you had gone so far as mentioned that in it's country of origin, you could have been arrested. It was extreme and it warranted deletion.

We are having a rant I suppose which is veering from the idea of this topic. I think if Howrse listened to our ideas more there would be less need for such opinionated, to say the very least, posts on here which would in turn result in the topic being kept for it's initial use. It works both ways really.

I seen that. Strange how some were and others are left up - oh well (as my father would say)! default smiley (lol)

I'm sure the minions have an opinion of the past, current, and upcoming changes but under the foot of a dictatorship - much is not said...

On a lighter, less diplomatic note -

Well if all that's over can anyone explain how the snowball fight works?

I knew it was you 12daughter34...sneaky one default smiley ;)

So for a snowball fight...it is best to use heavy snow. Grab as much as your hands can hold and push hands together to make the snow a ball. Once your snow ball is how you like it, pick someone to throw it at default smiley ;)

If they are friendly and enjoy a game they too will do the same in return.

I prefer to have a stack of snowballs ready to throw at warp speeds in the hopes of knocking everyone down! default smiley (lol)
