I'm gonna be trying for Sagittarius since I'm a Capricorn, as well as a Balios. But I'll get one anyway from the Christmas Packs, so if it becomes too costly to get the second one, I'll just have to cut my losses. Really hoping I can get two this Christmas, since they'll practically pay for themselves in a year and I won't be trying for the other Zodiacs (apart from Gemini, since my girlfriend is a Gemini)...

If you win one from the Advent Calendar *still seems to be unknown just which Divine(s) is being offered* as well as master to bring back and decorate all 5 Divine trees - you would then have 6 Divines from one promo (a very impressive feat).

However, this would require a phenomenal amount of luck - and a ton of passes potentially.

Is the Advent calendar completely free?

It is only free if you can log in that day to open the door. If you can't log in that day - you must pay 10,000e to open the door on a different day (this price is the same regardless of how much equus you have.)

So if you miss days 1 and 2 - but log in on day 3...Door 3 will be free to open, but you'll need to pay 20,000e (10,000 per door) to open 1 and 2.

Assuming one saves all decorations they get and gets all the decorations they need for the Tree of the Divine they want AND can have the tree brought back before the promo ends - it is possible to complete this promo without needing to use a single pass, diamond, or Horn of Plenty *Decorations will be offered in the HOPs*

Likewise - if one has all the decorations, they can pay 5 passes to get the tree instantly if they don't feel like waiting.

Exactly what kind of decorations do need the divine trees?

There are two sides to this promotion - the Advent Calendar and the Tree Decorating.

The Advent Calendar will run from Dec. 1st to Dec. 24th. Each day - you log in and open the door to receive either Decorations to use in the Tree Decorating promo OR an item for your horses (such as aging points, Medusa's Blood, etc).

What you get on each day is random (So while I might get Decorations for my Trees, you might get a Medusa's Blood) - however, on the 24th - everyone will get the same gift.

In addition Decorations and Items - on Sundays and the 24th - instead of receiving that day's normal gift, there's a chance you'll win a Divine instead.

The Advent Calendar is 100% Free - unless you miss opening a door on its day (There's an option to pay 10,000 equus to open a door you miss if you choose to do so - this is optional!)

Tree Decorating is the main promotion - you simply choose 2 horses on your account and send them to bring back a Tree from one of 3 (later 4) Forest (you can NOT care for these horses while they are getting a tree - so choose carefully which horses you send):

Nearby Copse - Short Trips (between 10 to 15 hours) - Small Gifts (Fodder, 2* tack, etc)
Faraway Forest - Long trips (18 to 36 hours) - Medium gifts (Medusa's Blood, Equus, etc)
Enchanted Grove - Longer trips (24 to 48 hours) - Large gifts (5th Elements, Hestia's Gift, etc)

Divine Forest* - Longest Trips - Divine horses (Choice of Snow, Frost, Winter, Snowy Balios or Saggitarius)

You can either wait out the time OR pay passes to bring the tree back immediately (you can also use Passes/Diamonds to 'speed up' the return of your horses with the tree if you choose to not get it directly *warning - this can cost more than actually getting it instantly!*

When your horses return with the tree - you simply drag and drop the decorations it asks for onto it;


*So this tree wants 3 tinsel, 6 baubles of different patterns (2 plain, 2 stripe, 2 spiral), and 3 different ornaments (Star, Present, and Heart).

Once all these decorations are placed on the tree - you win the prize shown on the page the elf is holding (in this case - a Percheron).

There is no limit to how many trees you can decorate, how long you have to decorate the tree, nor a limit to how many times you can bring back the same tree.

The following is a list of what decorations each of the Divine Trees requires.

Each Divine Tree requires 6 Tinsel, 4 Baubles, and 26 Ornaments - regardless of what Divine is 'attached' to it.

Tinsel can be any colors - it does not all have to be the same color

Baubles can be any color - but need to be the right design (ex. you can't put a Striped bauble if the tree needs plain)

Ornaments must be the specific ones asked for.

The Divine(s) that are available in the Calendar seem to be unknown at this time. I looked in the Directories on Preprod to see if I could find some - and while some Divines have the correct Birthday - it is unknown if they are from the Tree Decorating, or the Advent Calendar (as I searched for only the Divines offered in the Tree Decorating Promo)

All we can do is wait and see and hope someone gets a Divine on Preprod from the Calendar.

If one saves up all the decorations they get from the Advent Calendar, daily log in, winning comps. and going on rides AND gets all the decorations they need for the Tree of the Divine they want with the above methods AND can bring it back before the promo ends - it it highly possible to get a Divine without spending a single pass.

Likewise, additional decorations will be offered in HOPs - so if you have some stored up, you can use these (to me, using items in one's inventory does not count as using passes).

I'm actually really exited about this. I think I'll have a new favorite promo.
Now, hopefully I'll have some good luck with it...lol

That list is accurate for Trees - I brought back each tree from The Nearby Forests, and a handful of different trees from the other two and my results matched this list perfectly (I did not make the original list here - but I did run tests and every tree I brought back matched 1 to 1 on gifts).

Likewise though - if you've gotten different results...Its possible different players might get different gifts from different trees (think of it like the Maze - while we all knew where gifts were...we didn't all get the same gifts at the same spots)

More testing might be needed - but right now, that list is accurate from what I've seen
