I saw that gorgeous Red Fallabella . Does anyone know how he is coming ? Will he be that special prize on the 24th? Do we know what language he represents ? I'm on preproduction and I've looked and looked for him but cant find a trace :{
Thanks for anyone who answers . I guess if there is none I'll just have to wait till that calendar hits 24 default smiley xd

As a matter of fact;

Nothing is known for sure - but that seems like a safe guess - because as stated on Preprod in the Advent Calendar topic:

On Sundays and the 24th, there is a small chance that you will win a Divine horse instead of the day's gift.

So depending, the Red Falabella (his name is Liten by the way *Swedish for Small if memory serves*) will probably be a potential prize on Sundays, as well as the 24th.

Just keep in mind that while everyone will get the same gift on the 24th - most likely everyone will not get the Divine (that will probably be an extra gift or a different gift)

Christmas promo strategy question -

sorry if this is too soon to ask this lol. Ok, so is there any time limit on decorating the trees once you bring them in? I was wondering if it would be a good idea to just hoard everything, trees, decorations and passes, till the 25th when the divine forest becomes available to ensure I have the decorations the tree needs. Then make a party out of decorating trees

Far as I can tell;

Click to display
There is no time limit on the decorations - so in theory, just collecting decorations and waiting until the 25th to send off for the Divine tree IS a valid strategy (though you'll miss out on other prizes). Of course, you also need to hope you get the proper decorations within that time as well (All Divine Trees take 36 Decorations - broken into the following categories:

Tinsel : 6
Baubles : 4
Hanging ornaments : 26

They also seem to take between 2 to 3 days to deliver - regardless of what kinds of horses are used...So depending on when the promo ends...you might not get the tree in time unless you pay to speed up the process (5 passes is the cost it told me).

I'll need to run a few more tests though - but I think that is a valid strategy if all you care about is getting a Divine.

Most of the time - its done by one of two ways:

Way 1 - Playing with URLs

For example - when we got the images of Charming Red/Cool Carrot - we knew eventually we'd get the other colors.

So we took the url of the image: http://www.preprod.howrse.com/media/equideo/image/chevaux/special/300/adulte/rouge.png

And started changing the last part (rouge is French for red, so we changed it to jaune (meaning yellow))

If there's an image for it - it will show. If there is not (or it has not been released yet) - you get an error page. This is usually how a new Divine is found.

Way 2 - Another server starts testing and posts it

This is another common way - a different server will start testing, and post an image. Someone will then copy it - and it will be passed around the servers by various players

As for the Zodiacs - as I've said before - we only know what 3 of them look like *all other URLs don't show anything right now if anyone is thinking of playing with URLs*

Scorpio can be seen in the Directories and

Question about the Fallabella are there going to be two different Fallabella whit the same name? Because on the Swedish account there already Fallabella named "Liten" it is a green Fallabella.
What does storing equus as fodder mean?
I saw it a few pages back as a gameplay strategy. Sorry i dont know how to put it as a spoiler or if it even needs to be.

No spoiler at all.
You just buy fodder (or wheat bran, of which you can buy more at once). Both those things cost 1e per piece, so the buying price is the same as the selling price, and so you lose no money by buying and later reselling it.

It lowers your equus reserve, which lowers the covering prices and then price of the pass you can buy with equus. default smiley :d

Yes,

She is one of 5 Divines you can win from the Tree Decorating Promo - you simply need to bring back her tree and decorate it (the other Divine Prizes are Snow, Frost, Winter, and Snowy Balios).

We're working on that,

Click to display
Depending on what forest you send your horses to to get a tree - determines part of how long it will take. I sent the following horses to the nearest forest, and these were my results:

2 Foundation Drafts - fully BLUPed and Bolded = 15 hours
2 Gypsy Vanners - 4400+ skills each = 11 hours
2 Thoroughbreds - 4000+ skills each = 12 hours

We're still working out if its based on skills, or other characteristics (one thing that seems certain is regardless of the horses you are using - it takes between 2 to 3 days to bring back a tree from the Divine forest)

I have to agree with Rynx in that there will probably be a language swap (or they might change the names of the horses to make it more uniform across servers)...but all we'd be able to do is wait and see on that.

Is the Chrismas tree promo going to be pass heavy?
By Retired breeder, 14th November 2015 14:21:18
So basically, this new promo is

Click to display
Tree Gathering and Advent Calendar. The tree gathering is where you send two horses in to fetch a tree, and the skill determines how long it takes them. You can purchase a tree automatically for passes, 1 pass for the smaller ones, 3 for middle ones, and 5 for the Divine Forest.

When you decorate trees, you get a prize. (small ones are like fodder, medium are like F Wands, and big ones are TCs, HoP, and Hera Packs.)

The Divine Forest can e searched after you decorate 10 (?) trees. The Divines are Snow, Frost, Balios, and Sagittarius.

If you want to get it done, 20-50 passes are needed.

I used 600 on the first day to get all of my needed garlands, ornaments, etc.

Hope this helps!

Maybe not -

It's going to depend on how a player opts to participate vs. their luck in getting decorations.

It's been theorized that if one only wants a Divine from this event - that they can just sit around collecting decorations, and wait until the 25th for the Divine Forest to unlock for all - retrieve the tree they want, then use those decorations on it.

If a player did this, and was lucky enough to get all 36 decorations the Divine they want calls for by the free methods (log in, winning comps, riding, and the Advent Calendar) - they could get the Divine with no passes used.

However, that's also dependent on how long it would take to bring back the tree vs. how much time is left in the promo.

If the above is possible - and there's enough time left to bring back the tree and a player has all the decorations...This promo CAN be done without needing to use a single pass.

Likewise, if there won't be enough time to bring back the tree - 5 passes are needed to speed up the process and bring the tree in.

As it stands - depending on a players luck in getting decorations vs. how long it takes their horses to bring back tress...I would put this promo in the range of 5 passes to upwards of 40.

*For those who may comment they used over 500 passes on Preprod - remember that in doing that, it became a speed run, so it is not a genuine reflection of how many passes it could take.
