There is nothing there that refers to only those that have that birthday.
[/quote:0]
That is true, but something that occurred to me is this:
Click to display
It's on the page that talks about the whole of the Zodiac...and the part where it is on the page makes me wonder if that is truly referring to Scorpio or not:
*copied from the page*
...
When you've collected all 12 of the main horses of the Zodiac, you will receive the final horse of the Zodiac: Ophiuchus! *mistranslation it seems - should be Serpentarius*
When he wins his very first competition, he offers you 1 x Special 5th Element that allows you to customize a horse with the 5th Element coat of your choice.
As then, if you look at Scorpio's description on the same page, as well on the Divine's page itself:
Scorpio is one of the horses of the Zodiac.
If you were born under this sign, Scorpio will give you 1 x The 5th Element every year, on your birthday, if you log in on that day.
By collecting all 12 horses of the Zodiac, you will get the horse, Serpentarius
This horse cannot be sold.
There is no mention of this - so it makes me wonder if that might be something of Serpentarius' perk, or if it will be a special addition for Scorpio *I've asked on Preprod which one its for - but not heard anything back yet*

Shorah
We both thought the same thing.
I asked that question on the test W__C___ thread and you asked it on the other divine thread so hopefully they see one or the other of our question regarding this..

So Serpentarius gets you the fifth element of your choice when he wins his first competition, right?

Eventually, yes - but we don;t know when. Howrse usually waits until there are one or two breeds without a Unicorn form - then releases them together in some sort of promo (usually buy 10 passes, get 1x Unicorn of *insert breed here*)

In regards to question 1;
Click to display
I can not give any sort of concrete answer at this time - as there are many factors (how many points you get vs. how many times you enter horses, etc.). However, I would place it in the mid-range pass requirement of 20 to 50 depending at this point in time.
As for question 2,
Click to display
All that can be said for sure is sometime after the Trick or Treat promo ends. Given that Howrse is making it impossible to change one's birthday after November 10th, 2015...This tells me that the promotion could start as early as the 10th.
However, based on past promotion start times - I feel Thursday the 12th is a very likely date to start.

Looking for an opinion here:
Click to display
I finally got what I assume is enough passes on average to buy a divine in reserved sales. What is the better option in your opinion?
1) I wait until the rainbow divines are in sales (whenever that is) and buy one of them, giving me a diamond each week.
2) I wait until Zodiac divines are in sales (whenever that is) and buy Aries, my zodiac. (This would not give me diamonds as quickly, but I would get the 5th element. Also, I really think this is a cool concept and would love to see what Aries and the others look like.)
Based on Scorpio's appearance, I am sure Aries would look cool, but I want a second opinion before I spend so many passes.
P.S. I am going to attempt the events that the zodiacs come with but with my history as someone who doesn't win events with passes, I'm not sure if I will get the Zodiacs in their actual events.

@smonick95,
If I was in your position;
Click to display
I'd go with the Rainbow Divines personally for a few reasons
~The return is higher. If you own all 7 - that's 7 diamonds a week - for a total of 30/31 diamonds a month (the equivalent of 3 passes)
~You'd get an 8th Divine (Secret Rainbow) - who gives tack. Given that 2** Tack can only be won from promotions/hops/titan's challenges, etc - you can consider these items to also be semi-worth the passes spent.
With the Zodiac set - there's no guarantee right now that Aries (or any others in the set) will have the same perk as Scorpio (though all signs (no pun intended) are pointing towards that being the case).
Not to mention, it is only the Divine of your sign that will give you something - all others would just be for show unless Howrse changes a few things with them (ex. makes it so all of them give Equus when its not their month)
Even with 1 Rainbow Divine - the return is still higher:
Scorpio = 1x 5th element a year (So something 'worth' 2 passes a year)
Charming Red = 52x Diamonds a year (equivalent of 5 passes a year)
Though what you also need to consider is the price of the Divines. Most Divines are sold with a price anywhere between 10 to 30 passes. The Rainbow Divines will probably sell for 10 or 15 passes each, with Lovely Blue probably selling for 15 or 20 (Mares that can breed always are more expensive)
Using Scorpio vs. Charming Red again - let's assume they both sold for 15 passes in the Reserved Sales
Scorpio = 7 years to 'earn back' what you spent on him
Charming Red = 3 years to 'earn back' what you spent on him
So - again, to me - the Rainbow Divines are the better investment.

That honestly will be up to you. It will likely be a long while before the Z Divines are in sales. I don't think the Rainbows have made it to sales either. Honestly I want to say the last ones that were in sales were some of the Seasons.

Depends on what you mean:
Click to display
It is stated on Testing that the Zodiac Divines are meant to be 'more accessible' - meaning *to me* easier to get. However, this does NOT necessarily mean 'able to be gotten without passes and/or prior planning' (ex. You can complete the Pinatas without using Passes if you hoard horns of plenty)
This seems to be true with the World Championship promo - in that players of all levels, regardless of what kinds of horses they have, how many passes, they have, etc. have a higher chance at getting the Divine *I'm running some calculations now*. About the only disadvantage I've seen with this event would be for someone who does not have at least 6 horses able to enter competitions.
As for what they look like - we only know what Scorpio looks like at this time:

Thank you to everyone who responded to my previous message!
UPDATE to my last message:
Click to display
I have decided to wait for the Rainbows and buy Lovely Blue, as then I would get two divines for the price of one (with her able to breed and all).
In buying them this way, I think I should be able to earn back what I spent on LB very quickly and possibly in time to be able to buy Aries.

Your comment did not use the Spoiler Banner where it should have - that's actually the number one reason why posts are censored in this forum - lack of a spoiler banner.

Why should I have used a spoiler banner when I was just telling my opinion on whether smonick95 should buy a Z_ or Rainbow divine. I used quotation so I didn't see that it was necessary. I also see that some other people used quotation, too, while answering to that question.

Quotations are allowed - however,

The Zodiac Divines are something that is considered to be a Spoiler. Spoilers are things that are not common knowledge, and need to be kept 'hidden'.
If your reply was something like;
I think you should;
Click to display
buy the Zodiac Divines
OR
I think the Z_ Divines are the better choice.
Then it would have been fine - but flat out stating Z_ Divines *written in full* is not okay (As they are still a spoiler). Being the Spoiler Zone - it's not fair if someone comes here looking for information on new promos, and has a new Divine spoiled for them when they didn't want to know.
Yes, there are risks to coming here (especially if a Spoiler is not labeled) - but this helps cut down on the surprise being spoiled for others.

And okay, I mentioned it earlier...
A *very rough* calculation of passes for the W_ C_ promo;
Click to display
Keep the following in mind:
12 Horses can be entered per day (6 per 'competition' period)
The following are point results from a competition for various placings in events of horses of ALL different skill levels:
1st: 92
2nd: 78
3rd: 50
4th: 61
5th: 48
1st: 63
Total for 6 horses: 392 points.
Average points earned per horse: 65
Scorpio is the final Prize - while I don't have an exact point value, I'm going to assume it's at 23,000 points he is gotten (the final regular prize is gotten at 20,000 points)
Like any other promotion - let's assume this one is 18 full days long (19 days is the usual lenght of an event - but the 19th day is never a full day).
Now - assuming we get 392 points every time we compete - that's 784 points a day.
Now let's crunch some numbers:
784 x 18 days = 14,112 points total
Okay, so we are still shy 8,888 points. To make that up - we'd need to enter more horses.
This is when Tickets come into play - tickets allow you to get bonuses on your horse that may help it finish higher (not required and all can be gotten for free) and/or get you more entries into each competition.
Tickets are sold at the following rates:
1 pass = 3 tickets
3 passes = 9 tickets
5 passes = 18 tickets
10 passes = 40 tickets
20 passes = 90 tickets
50 passes = 250 tickets
There will also be 'ticket packs' that will be sold - these are 6 tickets for the price of 1 pass (or 10 Diamonds).
So...let's take the average of the above six scores and use that to figure out how many tickets we'll need for entries.
8888 / 65 = 136 additional horses needed.
So that's 136 tickets we need...Let's figure out the best price for this:
If we buy tickets flat out: 32 passes (20 passes for 90 tickets, 10 passes for 40, 2 passes for 6)
If we buy tickets using the Ticket Packs: 22 Passes (6 x 22 = 132)
So - as a whole, this promo comes out to one needing between 20 to 30 passes.
Of course, you might end up using more - you might use less depending on how many points your horses bring home vs. how many points it actually takes to get Scorpio.
