I was able to use Diamonds instead of Passes to purchase both Mines for the Underwater Excavations and Dice Packs for the Summer ride

The very first medium gift I landed on gave me a Shire on the First Board...So you might get a Shire right away, you might not get one at all. It is entirely random as to what a gift gives (so you might get things like Shires or 10,000e on the first board from Medium gifts, then just keep getting 20x aging points from Medium gifts for the rest of the event.

There is no set spot that will get you a set prize - all that is guaranteed is that landing on a Medium Gift will give you a prize from the ones alloted for it:

The way it works is like this;

If you were here for the Cursed Sands of 2013 - it's the same thing. If not, here's the info from the Preprod topic and some screen shots.

Excavate the sea bead to find gifts that were lost at sea. Beware of the traps!

*How do I excavate?

• Choose the area you want to excavate
• Discover what is hidden there
• Be patient between excavations
• Exchange your tools and the relics you’ve found for more powerful tools

~*~
Basically - you'll have a screen showing various patches of dirt. You dig in these patches to find Items (regular & black market items), Relics (which you trade for better tools over time), or Bones (which are needed to complete the skeleton to win the Divine horse - Devoted Indigo. There is also a chance you'll find a Trap - which will delay you from digging for 6 hours unless you complete an objective.

You need to trade your tools and Relics for better tools - what tool you have determines how many times you can dig in a day:

Snorkel and Mask (10 digs)

Oxygen Tank (15 digs)

Propeller (25 digs)

Robot (30 digs)

the Graphic is still the same looking at the URL - so it seems it has not been updated. That might be changed when the promotion is launched but for now - take that to be Devoted Indigo's image.

It's impossible to say as it is only the Prehistorics, Mythological*, Winter and Summer**, and the Rainbows (incomplete set at this time) - who have not had a sales event.

It's possible one might happen once the Rainbow set is complete - but all we can do is wait and see (as for example; the Chinese Divines got a Reserved Sale less than a month after the last one was released...Whereas the Solar Divines went almost two years before they got a Reserved Sale after being complete)

*Mythologicals (excluding the Faxi trio) were offered in the Titan's Challenge, but never as an actual sale - and in the past Howrse has done things like that (offer in TC/HOPs - then later offer in an actual sale)

**Same as the Mythologicals - Summer and Winter were offered in the Golden Fleece, but never in an actual sale

Sort of;

Each 'site' allows you to dig 3 times before resetting. Each time you dig - you will find something (either a Bone, Relic, Trap, or Prize)

Once you are on the 3rd dig - you'll see a little animation of a tornado and the spot will 'reset' allowing you to dig there again.

If you really wanted, yes. Just keep in mind that;

Bones, Relics, Prizes, and Traps can and will appear anywhere and everywhere while digging. So if you want to stay in the same spot - you can. If you want to move around - you can...either way, it's still all random what you might find as for example:

10 digs in the Same spot might get you:

Bone, Bone, Relic *reset* - Relic, Relic, Relic *reset* - Bone, Relic, Trap *reset* - Relic

10 digs in random spots might get you:

Bone, Relic, Relic, Bone, Bone, Trap, Prize, Relic, Relic, Trap

*Note I'm just making up what you might get - this is not a guarantee of any sort

*and it seems the Admins are not going to give anyone a Devoted Indigo on Preprod as we are no longer testing him so Secret Rainbow's perks (if he has any) might be a total surprise unless something changes in the coming days of testing here or on another server...

Horsieg - many players did complete it, however - the test server was reset between testing for the U_ E_ and the S_ R_.

Since test servers are copies of the live server from a point in time *it seems the most recent copy is from less than a week ago*...

I was here for the cursed sands 2013 and I loved it! I also love the magic ride so this will be great!

Anyway, for the reason I originally came to this topic: Last month we were told the nature of the great challenge would change. Is that what all these [awesome sauce] promos are?

No, I don't think that these latest promos have been what Howrse was talking about. They're probably still going over it and figuring out how to change it. I know {or at least believe} ShorahNagi has made some guesses as to what they might be doing with it, but no one knows besides the admins.
