Shire

Percheron

Do we even know if
Click to display

Shires are going to get released? And if so will they be available in the Maze promo as well?

....sorry if this has been asked already

From what I've seen;

Click to display
Only the Percheron is listed as a Prize in the maze...though the Shire might show up in a different promotion/event...all we can do is wait and see what the future might hold as people uncover more stuff on other servers

Thanks ShoraNagi.

Their both very very lovely. Like so many I have waited a very long time for them to arrive.
Here's me hoping it won' be too difficult to get a pair default smiley (7)

Don't get too excited yet - it is currently unconfirmed if Drafts will even be allowed to have teams as...

Click to display
Currently on Preprod, there is no option to make a team for Percherons...and the single screen shot that showed Shires as a breed on the Create a team page was chalked up to being a bug (which aside from meaning them being released, could also mean then being able to be used for Teams)

Indeed - though

Click to display
Given the two screen shots I've seen showing what prizes are what on revealed Maze maps...I'm only finding one Percheron on them - which means while it might be easy to get one to start...getting a second might be harder (or require use of the sales.)

Give me a moment to find the shots - and I'll post them (along with the path on how to get them)

I'm pretty sure
Click to display
That I saw two of them on the maze. Maybe not. *shrugs* Also, does anyone from testing know if you can choose the Gender of the horse when you get it as a prize? Or does it just give it to you?

I like the look of the Shire, but wonder if when they get around to adding the Clydesdale if it'll share the same coat...

I honestly hope not. It would be nice for each breed to have a different coat.

@MoonRider1691

I would guess so. Isn't the main difference that Clydesdale are a bit more refined? Which isn't really that much of a difference. Although it would be nice to have a separate coat

It would be nice, but I wouldn't be complaining too much if they did. Clydes are just a fave Draft of mine default smiley :)

Cheers to that! They just might be popular, but definitely not going to be easy to breed with their 3 covers. But they'll definitely be popular for ECs bringing back double resources.

Alright, for those who read my above spoiler mentioning screen shots - here they are:

Click to display
These shots are from Equideow - there are two different servers as it is the largest of all the 'games'. While I have not found anything to confirm this concrete I have heard reports that some gifts might be in different places for different players (except Lovely Blue - she is at the end regardless).

It seems that there are two Percherons in each image (if you see one I don't - feel free to point it out)

The top one here is from the Gaia Server
*The Percheron is located at cell A-11 and another one is at V-22

This one is from the Ouranos Server
*The Percheron is located at F-13 and another one is at O-10

And this is a shot of the solved maze - this is said to be the shortest route, I have put colored dots where the Percherons are on the above two shots to show:

However, note that is has been said that - while everyone will have gifts and the like in the same spots (So everyone has a gift at S-2 for example)...the gifts might not be the same for everyone (using the same S-2 example...Gaia map shows a Carrot, Ouranos map shows Leather, and I got a 1* Classical Bridle on Preprod) - so it is possible that the Drafts might not lay on the path to get out of the maze for you.

I just hope we won't be able to create teams. I would really like if they did not become part of the hole crazy GP race. But like you said MoonRider their resource feature should make them popular.

Their definitely not Grand Prix material though, not with those skills ^

@ Horsieg,

In the past with winning a horse as a Prize from an event, you are not allowed to choose the Gender/Coat color (you are given one of them at random) - so I don't foresee this being any different (though you could always use a ZLB to change the gender)

Agreed. If I'm lucky to get a few, that's all they'll really be used for in my EC. I might try my hand at breeding them, but I'll let others do more of the grunt work and just breed to higher public stallions. I don't take the GP race too seriously.

Thanks! I figured you wouldn't be allowed to choose.
Drats so no knowing where their hiding then default smiley (lol)
Thanks for posting ShoraNagi.

This should prove quite a challenge.

Me neither MoonRider.
It would amuse me to slowly up their skills though, not using outside stock. Just like I'm doing with the zaner.

I would try NIB with them, but I just don't have the time or patience. And it is such a headache to keep up with the lineage.

I hope the drafts don't become like donkeys in the coverings were you only find negative BLUP stallions for an extremely high price,

No. The only thing in common with Donkeys is their cover limit. GP goes up like all other species.

To be honest - I think part of the reason why you find coverings for Donkeys with Negative BLUP (when you can find public coverings at all) - is because some people have the misconception that the lower the BLUP on a Donkey, the better the foals will turn out to be (this is false, the best drop in GP with Donkeys happens if both parents are 100 BLUP)

I don't think this will happen with Drafts though - as their GP works the same as horses (it goes up - and most people know with horses, you want a high BLUP for the best GP)

Though the price is hard to say - as like Donkeys, they will only have 3 coverings in total so some might charge more due to the rarity (that, and players might not offer them at all because of this [I know this is why I don't offer coverings with my Donkeys])

I wonder how much drafts are going to run people with how you can only potentially get two if you get far into the maze. I have the feeling that I won't want to ever let go of my foundy drafts like I did with the lippizans. (I got like 14 of them.)

I know this much, if I get any I might wait to breed them until Isis comes around again as her perk would definitely help in Draft breeding.

Good idea. I have her as well. Hopefully they hold decent value until then.

Hopefully so. Without her and with Wands you get 6 foals with all covers. With her and Wands you can get 9 - 15 foals with all covers. default smiley :o
