If they make it possible to do it with absolutely zero passes, then many people wouldn't buy the passes needed for the HOPs. The reason why they make it so that you can't finish unless you use HOPs/buy passes for HOPs is so that players - if they want to complete the promotion fully - need to buy passes from them to earn more money. I wish that it could all be free on this game, but it can't be that way as Ubisoft is a large company who wants their money.

I would have to disagree with that. I would have been far more inclined to buy passes to get the last diamond card I needed for Cool Carrot if I thought I would have a fair chance of getting the next rainbow divines without using/buying passes. However, seeing as I feel that I have a low chance of getting the next ones without passes, I thought that there is really no point in wasting all of my passes and maybe even buying passes with real money for one of them.

I'm sorta in the same situation. I wanted Cool Carrot, but I knew I wasn't gping to be able to get the whole set, so I didn't particularly want Charming Red. So I didn't put in too much effort. I'll probably wait til they go through the sales, and buy the one that;s my favourite by then.

Me too! Maybe they'll be introducing companions again? {I doubt it, but I don't know what they said when they stopped them or whatever} But that's the only thing I can think of.

Hmmm, it's all very, very, very annoying not knowing what it is.
And maybe the parade will be how they bring out draft horses?
Personally I hope notdefault smiley :k

I know right?! (Don't know if it's considered chat speak to do IKR) I remember joining Howrse when the Parade was almost over, the last time they did it, but I was brand new so I had no idea what to do or anything, so I don't remember how it works.
If memory serves, the parade you're given a horse and you're to customize it with different tack. Blankets, wraps, bonnets, and bands that are the same color will earn you more points. I cannot say too well about the saddle and bridles on whether they need to be the same style but I do believe coloring is important as well.

I don't remember if you are given a different horse each day or not.

No one knows. All we have is an image.

@ MoonRider
Thanks!
Ahem, from wikipedia, general info about a certain old Greek mythological item

Click to display

In Greek mythology, the Golden Fleece is the fleece of the gold-hair winged ram, which was held in Colchis. The fleece is a symbol of authority and kingship. It figures in the tale of the hero Jason and his band of Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the fleece by order of King Pelias, in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly. Through the help of Medea, they acquire the Golden Fleece.
...
A more widespread interpretation relates the myth of the fleece to a method of washing gold from streams, which was well attested (but only from c. 5th century BCE) in the region of Georgia to the east of the Black Sea. Sheep fleeces, sometimes stretched over a wood frame, would be submerged in the stream, and gold flecks borne down from upstream placer deposits would collect in them. The fleeces would be hung in trees to dry before the gold was shaken or combed out.

Now don't ask me what Howrse made of it, but kingship(power of some kind) or getting gold seem to be things that might make sense on the game. default smiley :)

I knew about the myth, but didn't think about it in this sense. Hmmm. Interesting. Maybe it will be like the Breeder's Wealth Privilege, just better?! Lol

Just speculating here, but when they removed the Secret (EC) Market, didn't they say that EC items may me brought back in future updates? Perhaps this will be an item for ECs to generate gold (according to that myth)? default smiley :p Or provide some other bonus, higher comfort in boxes for instance default smiley (lol)
