Well maybe (I wouldn't really know how many HOPs you need) because 12 passes could = 12 HOPs.

It'll be cheaper to buy Shiny Yellow in sales than it will be to purchase HOPs for the promo. Even though I really want a Greyfell.

well, you could do it without HOP's but it would be really hard, because you would virtually need 24 hour access to howrse

even with all the clicks and no hops, and all the objectives done, you cant finish. youll get to 18 at most.

That's really not fair, I mean, you stay up half the night, the least Howrse can do is make it possible to win a promo without using passes. Now I realize that some players buy passes and such, and that's what keeps this game going, but some players are just playing a game. They can't spend their real money on it to get HOP's to win a divine. I think it should be hard to get a divine through a promo, but it shouldn't be impossible without using passes. Just my opinion.

If they make it possible to do it with absolutely zero passes, then many people wouldn't buy the passes needed for the HOPs. The reason why they make it so that you can't finish unless you use HOPs/buy passes for HOPs is so that players - if they want to complete the promotion fully - need to buy passes from them to earn more money. I wish that it could all be free on this game, but it can't be that way as Ubisoft is a large company who wants their money.

You don't need them if you're just going to do it a relaxed manner (not trying for the divine in the promotion is what I mean by this), however, to finish the promotion completely, you will need passes.

All promos are calculated to make you need passes. Hard work in the promo only gets you 85% there. Close enough to be sad about your list progress and enough to seem reasonable to buy those last 10 passes.

First, the Rainbow horses:
A player posted the names of all the Rainbow horses before we even knew the name of Yellow (15 days ago), and she got it right, so I'd like to believe she got them all rights. Here are the names: Shiny Yellow, Green Forest, Lovely Blue, Devoted Indigo, Brave Purple. What do you think? We're not sure if either it will be Ocean Blue or Lovely Blue, but on the french forum, they said that it was Ocean Blue because it was said on this topic so no clue.
Shiny Yellow will give one Diamond every Wednesday (if connected once within the three days before Wednesday) and if you're VIP, the energy spent in training Shiny will be divided by two. That's what I got about him.
It is said that Secret Rainbow will be more about the look than the bonuses. It is just a rumor though.

Then the pinatas: if you complete all clicks and objectives, you won't get to the last pinata, but you'll need around 10 to 15 passes (according to Equideow). If you don't get all the clicks, then it is seen to be between 20 and 40 passes.
Greyfell at the #19 pinata, Shiny at the 21st.
It is also said that the HoPs can offer clicks the whole time (during the promo time obviously). They say it's more recommended to open your HoPs at the end since there will be a bonus, so you'll get more clicks from them by the end (& the hardest the pinata is, the more points you'll get).

I also read something about some special horses that may come back, and the exact translation is Wild. I don't know if that is correct so don't take it as a fact default smiley ;)

Last thing: the draught horses. It is also believed that the Shire will be one of the breeds, but NOT confirmed. They also think the second will be either Clydesdale or Percheron.

And that's it. The players hoped to see some new stuff on the preprod but it didn't open so we have to wait default smiley :)

Wow, thanks for going all of that! I have a quick question, though... I basically have 24/7 access (if I need to, which I will, I'll set alarms) and I have 1 HoP, resources to complete every objective, 4 passes owed, and a horse I'll be selling for 2... What pinata is this likely to get me to?
