Broke my arm falling off of horse

Hey y'all, broke my arm while riding my mare. Have any tips on what I can train my horse while I heal? (Preferably nothing with my right hand)

yikes I'm so sorry to hear that! I can't offer tips as I'm not sufficiently experienced, but here's wishing you the speediest and smoothest recovery!

I am very sorry! I am not qualified in any way but one fun thing you could try is Liberty.

You can do liberty work, ground work, have someone help you build an obstacle course with what you have lying around and work on that together

Sdequus (Milestone Equestrian) has a lot of information about liberty and ground work that you could look into!

Even if all you do is take her on walks around the property or just spending time with her doing grooming or stretches will be more than enough default smiley :)

I agree with a lot of people suggesting liberty! It is so fun! You could also lead her around your property and see how she reacts to things, chickens, cars, random things she hasn’t seen before, foals, etc. From there you could help her get used to them and be comfortable with them!
