Lengthen the leathers? Or , if you're at the lowest it will go, maybe find some longer ones. I haven't ridden Western but in English style riding, I did lots of work without stirrups to make my seat more secure and let my leg lengthen with forcing it. Then, when you use stirrups again, your heel naturally drops down and your leg stays where it should.

I expect someone with Western experience will be able to give you more specific advice for that style of riding.

If you can elaborate on exactly what you're having trouble with, folks will be able to give you more detailed advice! default smiley ^)

Do you ride English or Western?
Is it that the stirrups are too short, or that the stirrups squeeze your foot and are tight on your boot?
Are you struggling to keep your heels down because of the stirrup situation?

I would say the best thing to do is get new stirrups or ride stirrupless but if that isn't an option then i'm not sure.
