Name fitting game!

Hello all. Let me explain the rules of this game.

One player will say a horse name they like, and the next person will say what kind of horse they think the name fits. I’ll give you a name to start off.

Example:

Player 1: The name I chose is Terminator

Player 2: I think the name Terminator fits a black thoroughbred stallion with a blaze and four even socks.
The name I chose is Onadare.

And so on! Have fun all, and happy Howrsing!

The name is Valencia!

Sandy was originally a lesson pony but was then bought and became an excellent hunter jumper. She is a light palomino with dapples, a big blaze, and 2 socks on the front
Oakley

I imagine Oakley as a 15.1hh buckskin mare that has beautiful dapples in the summer time and her coat shines like the star she is. She has no white markings expect for a dab of white on the tip of her nose. Her mane and her tail is jet black and incredibly long and well taken care of. Oakley excelled in western pleasure, but she’s retired now living in a lush field with a gorgeous dun filly at her side (not a brood mare, but needed her bloodline to carry on).

What about the name Malibu?

IDK why but Malibu is a seen it all done ne it all buckskin quarter-ish gelding. A little too stocky and thic to be truly athletic or amazing at any one thing but able to do just about everything pretty good.

Oliver

(No pressure but I had an Oliver in my life and if I'd have been able to buy him my life would have been totally different but what's a 13 year old to do)

Oliver is a bay dun American Appendix horse. He has a thin blaze that starts at the top of his forehead and ends on his muzzle. He has white stockings on all of his legs except for the left front, which has no white on it. This athletic horse was bred to be a barrel racer, like his dam and sire, but proved to be better at reining. This 15.3 hand gelding is great for beginner riders and advanced riders. He loves his turn out time and loves to be around other horses. This boy has a lot to teach to those who want to learn.

I think Terminator would be a bay mustang stallion who can never be tamed, but lets this one girl ride him.

Next name: Jupiter

Well how can i resist making Jupiter a red roan draft warm blood cross so he is a tall thick boy and is a bit on tje pushy side, not bad and not quite rude just assertive and opinionated.

Let's keep the theme and go

Venus

I see Venus as a mare with a rather aloof personality, maybe a yellow dun Ahkal Teke. Very elegant.

I see Amaia as an elegant, lean fleabitten gray Arabian horse mare who excells in dressage. She can have a bit of a temper sometimes, but usually is pretty nice.

Koda?

I think Koda would be a 16-hand paint. He is very energetic and works at a horse camp in summer and a cattle ranch when not at camp

Initial vibe says that Finch is one of those horses where, at a glance, they're super sweet and gentle and well-behaved, but the minute you start giving a little too much attention to another horse, bro gets LOUD. Not aggressive, necessarily, just absolutely hollering for attention. Riding horse, but on the smaller side, maybe 14-14.5 hands. I think he's overall pretty reliable on hacking and trails. I'm not all that great at horse-breeds these days, but my heart firmly says appaloosa. Idk. Also, I'm getting gelding vibes, but I could also totally see a stallion or mare. Not super sure on colour, but "Finch" brings me a lot of browns, if only because of how strongly I associate the name with the birds, and "Atticus Finch" has khaki-suit vibes; I think maybe a spotted-blanket scenario would fit, but honestly I can see loads of horses fit it. Cute name, very fun to work with. Pick whatever aspects you like.

Next name issss "Jasper." (Hoping that's not a repeat, haven't read all three pages yet.)

Jasper sounds like an evil pony gelding, maybe a bay or chestnut POA with a blanket appy pattern. He is no stranger to refusing jumps and needs a rider with an iron will and possibly a body protector. Although he is demonic under saddle, he is quite endearing from the ground and will quickly learn silly tricks (in exchange for cookies, of course.)

Marshall

I know a Marshall irl so when I hear Marshall I think..

Grey fleabitten Andalusian - Quarter horse cross. Mid teens. Roughly 15.2 hands with gorgeous, long mane. He was used previously as a polo horse. This boy is very forward and gets defensive of his mouth if you use too much rein. He is super sweet on the ground and can pick up the canter from the stand still. He’s a very good boy and a great pick if you want the wind rushing through your hair.

I see Galeno as a gentle older horse who’s nice and easy going, but still just a little sassy with plenty of spring in his step. A great horse for newer riders.

Maraschino?

(Also Falling off is that you?!?default smiley :o)

Maraschino seems like a chestnut blanket appaloosa gelding who is super calm, gentle, and great for beginners. He was used as a lesson horse for a while, but retired when he got to his late teen years.

What about Autumn?

Immediately thought of maybe a flaxen chestnut, even-tempered mare with a blaze for Autumn. Not crazy original, but just what popped into my head.

I have an irrational love for the name Cha Cha, so tell me what you think a horse with this name would look like!

I think cha cha would be a gelding Welsh type B with a dark bay coat and a dappled blaze! With Blue eyes and 2 tall socks in the front and 1 short sock on the right back. Also with one tan hoof in the front left! He would be a very energetic pony who loves jumping and is quite mischievous ! He is a foodie and loves to play with other horses!❤️

Next name is: Sadie!

I think saidy would be a strawberry roan American shetland with one blue eye and one brown eye. She would be sassy and high stepping. She would be a harness horse. She would also be picky about her driver.
