I love my Thoroughbreds. I feel that when I ride on one i feel that we are connected to each other. I have ridden other horses that are not Throughbreds and i don't think the horse and I click as quickly.

My favourite breed is definitely the Welsh Section D. I love their trainability, talent to turn their hoof to anything and quirkiness! I own a partbred Welsh D who is an absolute lunatic at 17 years old, but was truly wonderful in his hay day; he’s semi retired now and definitely not everyone’s ride but he still gives a fantastic feel under saddle, and is an absolute poppet to be around.

Quarter horses every day . And maybe it's just the ones I've been lucky enough to know, but in my experience they're the calmest and most well rounded breed around

admittedly, all of the horses that i've had riding/socializing experiences with are quarter horses haha but each and every one of them has been the absolute sweetest.

when i took lessons, i used to ride this big ol guy called Luke. he LOVED mangos—i live in the tropics, and sometimes, when we went on trail rides (and when they were in season) we would grab a mango for him, watch him eat all of the fruit n spit out the pit, and then bathe him. he always had his tongue sticking out of his mouth. miss him tons.

anyways, that's one of the three horses that has now given me a bias for quarter horses, haha

I love Appaloosas, Hackneys I owned an appaloosa that made the beautiful age of 42

I worked with Andalusians for roughly 2 years and they always have a place in my heart.
Thoroughbreds also have a spot in my heart and I would love to own a thoroughbred stables when I get enough money.

Friesians and mustangs

My favorite breed IRL is a Lipizzan, they are extremely athletic and incredible at high level dressage. They are one of the only breeds capable of performing the airs above the ground.
