Val I have those moments sometimes!

"I'll make perfect halters!"
"I need to go to a live show this instant!"
(Guess what never happens? Answer: All of the above.)

I tried. I failed. I Never Tried Again.

So I was just chilling, watching Myfroggystuff, and was inspired by her dog agility course (of course I believed I could do it better default smiley :p) so I went online and learned 3 things:
A: Schleich has a dog agility pack
B: Dog hurdles look just like tiny horse jumps
C: Dog cavaletti exist
So, of course, now I want to make a Schleich scale agility course... Only thing is I have no use or space. Maybe I'll sort through my tack trunk today and throw out all the really ugly Schleich stuff I made so I have space.

I was watching her too! Yep! I want is badddeee! Exactly! They do exist? You could use straws to make poles!
By Retired breeder, 17th January 2016 23:18:36
They're tiny though, so for Schleich-scale dogs I would try toothpicks
By Retired breeder, 17th January 2016 23:19:30
Don't worry Harper, I will only throw out the stuff that I hate, that takes up space, and doesn't have anything good in it. Most of it I'll probably dissect so I can keep the jump rings and such- no use throwing those out!

I also have a perfect plastic ring thing from a cheap necklace that I might use to make a tire. Or another option would be to glue foam inside and outside of one of the little plastic rings from milk cartons, just below the cap.

Don't throw out any thing

Ok so I have recorded it, but now I need to edit it and I cannot be bothered right now so it will be up later today default smiley ;)

Hehe... I did... But I did keep all the good stuff and materials (seriously I didn't throw much away at all!) and now my box is quite a bit cleaner, although not much less cluttered!

Also I finally found a use for my Frisian stallion's giant head. I made a bosal bridle just a tad big, but it fits him!
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 01:05:18
Sometime in February I should be able to go to TSC, so I hope all their 2015s are on sale and they have some 2016s! (I hope they get new breyers in stock too... There's totally no reason that they're mostly out default smiley (8))

It works! The 2016 Clydesdales head is enormous, so big, it is sad!
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 02:05:23
That would be great! They usually have all of the new ones in stock. I might start collecting more breyer stablemates...
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 02:38:14
Not at my TSC, we bought all the ones that didnt come with a giant trailer default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 02:38:44
Yeah my friend has the Black Forest mare and she is giant-headed. And just all around giant. But I still want her.
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 02:39:06
Hahha I'm sorta busy and forgot about okay horse ..agian lol ....how do you have time ..???
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 02:39:47
What is everybody's retired Schleich "holy grail?" So basically the retired horse that you want the most. Mine is the very old Camargue mare, the one looking over her shoulder. So cute! default smiley (l)
I love her too Jo! I was lucky enough to get a hold of her a few years ago. She's just adorable. default smiley (l)

Aw, good for you! Cheapest I've seen her is like $20..
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 03:04:59
Does anybody have a Schleich that is basically what you might look like if you were a horse? I feel like if I were a Schleich, I'd be the Dartmoor mare. However, if Jo were a Schleich, I'd be my Ember custom. If my sister were a Schleich... Actually I don't have the proper Schleich for her. But if she were a breyer, she'd totally be the stablemate that she painted. It looks just like her as a horse default smiley (lol)

I love the old camerague mate! I could see myself as... Hmm some sort of half longer.
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 03:13:41
Ah, typing on a phone is impossible!
By Retired breeder, 18th January 2016 12:20:51
Yeah. Another one of my sisters would be my custom Safari red roan Arab mare (standing), and the next would be... Hm. I don't have the right horse for her.

Well, sadness. It snowed last night but not an inch or two like I was told by a meteorologist, so not enough to even half cover the picture rocks default smiley :(
