Nope, I don't think so.

@famusamus, we have armadillos around my place too. Also, I've never seen one closer then 10ft away alive beforedefault smiley (lol) there almost always road kill. I never knew Schleich made armadillos! You learn something new every day!default smiley xd

Yep i'm not sure how many versions they've made, but there is at least one! Its retired though so they need to make a new one. The US Schleich facebook page recently did a vote on what wildlife animal we wanted them to make next year. The only thing off the top of my head that i could think that they hadn't made (or so i thought lol) was an armadillo. So i suggested that. Then, a couple weeks later, they tallied the results and put the top five suggestions up to a vote to see which was the winner. I haven't heard yet what animal won. Armadillo wasn't among them, but i hope they make (or remake, as some were already in existence but i think retired) them all eventually, as well as another armadoodle! I'm gonna see if i can find another on ebay but i think they are fairly rare so i'm not holding my breath.default smiley (y)

Well it looks like there are about three Schleich armadillos for sale on ebay, but they are all international (i'm in the US) and $30+ dollars, so out of my price range. The one i almost got was in my country, and bidding started at $6.25 and ended at $10 so i think i'll wait and hope to find a more affordable deal, especially since an armadillo, rare as it is, is not exactly a large Schleich. I just can't afford to spend $30+ on it! Oh well, maybe next time!default smiley :)

Ok, I just got the picture from the Schleich website and there sold for$ 17. So the price isn't as crazy as I thought

Wow that's a beautiful horse...congrats! And yeah I don't usually get the sets cause I can't justify or afford to spend that much on one piece. But it looks really nice! It's great finding retired Schleichdefault smiley :)

My justification: I do it for me!
Lol I would use that too, but when the money's not there, it's not there unfortunately.default smiley xd

I just realized last night that there was something about Schleich that I forgot to mention in my spiel...they also have a Wild West series of figurines, with cowboys, indians, and settlers. I don't think they add to it anymore, but they have it. I'm hoping to add a few of the cheaper characters to my collection eventually, but some will remain a dream unless I find a really amazing deal. For instance, the cowboy with lasso on horseback, he seemed to run around $50 something bucks. And the horse drawn covered wagon? It ran from $200 to $360 or so bucks. I'd LOVE to have them, but the money is most definitely not there lol. Sigh.

That's amazing! But not the covered wagon with it? I wonder if you can substitute other Schleich horses in there? Here's the wagon if anyone wants to see it.

Only the horses. Now the rest of the cowboy/natives, haha.

I just ordered the four remaining new bayala horses.

The horses are very pretty. About the only thing i can afford any time soon is the settler family. I saw an indian chief go recently for a good price, but he was in a set with other Schleich animals and i couldn't afford it since it was several pieces, so the price was still too high. They could have likely sold that indian for that price or higher by itself! I can't remember what the price was though.

I almost won a retired Bayala pegasus, but again, someone outbid me by 50 cents again when i was asleep!default smiley :'( But that's great that you are getting four more! Be sure to share which ones when you get them!default smiley (y)
