Schleich!

To cut Popsicle sticks evenly, you could tape them together and cut straight across if that makes sense, or use a ruler and psychically measure. For wheels, yes, I love Lego wheels, although I've never actually used them there are a lot of opportunities! Or bottle caps.

It looks like a Collect A maybe...
|
By Retired breeder, 29th February 2016 18:28:52
Yeah, kinda. It probably is. I know it's not a breyer, Schleich, or safari. Or terra or Papo.

Yes, I think it's a CollectA. Also while looking at that, I found a custom of the rearing Schleich mustang to a fjord. It was SO cute and well-done!

has any one seen this one????? This guy is the Mojo fjord mare

By Retired breeder, 29th February 2016 22:41:47
Yep! That is correct! Beauty eh?
|
I've actually never heard of the brand before, but I might actually go buy one now that I know who they are
|
By Retired breeder, 29th February 2016 22:59:40
Yep, they are like collecta so a tad bit bigger, but not the biggest difference.
|
Interesting. Where have you found one? Just online?

I have a mojo foal. It fits perfect with my Schleich.

Oh really? I searched for "collectA Fjord" and that came up a lot, so I figured it was collectA.

Yes, it will occasionally show up, but look up the mojo and a lot more come up.

i use them for photography, the detail makes them look real and i love them

Schleich is really durable; my only complaint is when they fall on you. And they're so realistic!

To CowboyCrazyGirl: I have the same model! I call him Hidalgo, 'cause I watched a horse movie of the same name and the main horse in it (Hidalgo) looked exactly like mine!

I think I have around 50 horses. . . I'm planning on getting some more, soon.

My Andalusian Stallion's name is March to Glory. He was one of my first models.

I have a really nice way to make a stall for one horse with tape, scissors, and a tissue box.
1. Take off the tissue box's plastic and the top part (where the plastic was). 2. Cut a door with the scissors, on either the left or right half of a side. Then cut a V-shaped hole (or whatever you call it) in the top so your horse's head can peek over. 3. Using one of the pieces from the step before, cut out a small triangle and a rectangle. 4. Tape the triangle on the door so that it faces the 'wall'. Then, tape the rectangle over where the triangle goes over the 'wall'. Slid out the 'lock' to see if it goes smoothly. 5. Put in crumbled-up leaves (really messy) or stalks of dead grass (looks like straw--seriously) as bedding. Hey--I had to make do with what I had! Careful: They're kinda flimsy.

Welcome! That sounds like a great way to make stalls! What is your favorite schleich?
|
By Retired breeder, 1st March 2016 14:41:28
when i saw it it came up when i searched schleich retired horses
|
By Retired breeder, 1st March 2016 14:47:41
Yep. So, should I invest 15 dollars to get a super rare foal, or hold off?
|
By Retired breeder, 1st March 2016 15:54:18
Depends. Do you actually think the foal is pretty, or worth $15?
|
By Retired breeder, 1st March 2016 16:01:33
It is rare, has a tag, and in decent condition. Like an old schleich, just one color. So not stunning, but not ugly.

Who here would meet up with me when the zombie apocalypse happens and go to every store and steel all Schleich?

Memememememem!!! That is what I was thinking when I watched an episode of the Walking Dead!
