Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I played howrse and I'm a bit foggy on the Seal of the Apocalypse Pestilentia breeding rules.

Can a male Pestilentia pass the coat down through breeding with a non-Pestilentia mare?

Is it guaranteed that 1 out of every 5 coverings results in the coat being passed down?

males can also pass it on. there's a better chance if you breed 2 pestis together to get the coat to pass on. problem with that is if you breed 2 pestis together and get a foal with the pesti coat that uses the chance from both parents. if you breed them seperately you have 2 chances to get them. i used to breed them a lot and never bred 2 pestis together. got pesti foals probably 75%+ of the time
