Tarpan is a fairly common one, as he is a reward in the trophies. However, they can't be skilled, as their skills are already maxed out. If you want to earn some money for him, just pick a specialty and enter competitions - although they are very low skilled and aren't likely to place well.

Tarpan's divine gift isn't one that requires him to be cared for or anything, so most players will put him out of the way and ignore him.

Actually, I beg your pardon, his skills aren't maxed out - he just gains 1 point in each skill automatically each day he's been cared for and aged with the game update (mine lives in a dark hole, so I forgot about that). So there is no "best way" to skill Tarpan, as he adds to all his skills equally as he ages.

Like Dracor said he can't be skilled, as he does that on his own. My best advice is to just care for him everyday. For example my Tarpan has reached over 800 wins and has won quite a lot of equus for me , so just care for your Tarpan once he has enough of skills he will reward back quite generously
